      A beautiful, well maintained garden. Can easily find sunny or shady spots with the abundance of benches and grass. Public toilet available on site. Plenty of different nooks and corners to give you a variety of experiences – areas with streaming water, rows of flowers, more public spots to feel part of the community, or semi private nooks with less people to just relax in nature. Free parking available but limited and in high demand.

      Grabbed some Domino’s Pizza and had lunch at the St. Kilda Botanical Gardens. It’s really nice, quite and relaxing. Trees and palms provide for shade, toilets and bins provided. You may bring your ?. Great place. Highly recommend!

      This place really is a delight. I walk through it daily and it continues to inspire and ground me (as it does many others). What bliss to see people enjoying these sprawling gardens in such deliciously varied ways. Picnics, people reading under giant tree canopies. Duck watching on the pond, photographing the plentiful bulbs now in flower. Peaceful, delightful, restorative.

      This is a really nice small public garden, there were lots of people using them, for picnics playing, walking the dog, just enjoying the sunshine and time together, there were plenty of shady spots with seats to ward off the heat, the rose gardens looked beautiful. It is free to just walk thru, stay a while, take the kids to play and just enjoy

      Lovely gardens with play area for kids, a beautiful lake, rose garden, and areas for picnics. Located a short walk to Akland St and the beach with parking usually available. Public toilets could be better, but recently, they added an additional toilet block which is welcomed.

      Very beautiful zoo tucked into the more rural side of Melbourne. Highlight was a picture and petting the koala Cyclops. But also seeing the kangaroos and wallabies jump and roam freely was nice.

      Other than the two highlights the zoo was quite boring. And expensive for what you get. I understand the money goes to conserving these precious species but the zoo was just really small and not much to get lost and do.

      They should do more with the nature they offer. Like eucalyptus tree tour, plantings, product making sessions or something. And maybe create more spaces where the visitors can feel at the center of the animals they are visiting in a peaceful way. Just some suggestions to improve but it was nice overall.

      One of my favourite places to visit in VIC. We have come here multiple times before, but yesterday was a special highlight as it was our first private night tour.

      I always enjoy going to Moonlit Sanctuary but with many of the animals being nocturnal, it is a different experience starting a tour around dusk. For instance, it was my first time seeing a Tasmanian Devil run around (being excited about receiving his food soon) instead of sleeping in its burrow during the day. By the same token, it was fantastic to see the Koalas more active than they normally are during the day and of course my personal highlight of any visit is always the chance to get up close and feed the wallabies and kangaroos. But it was also my first time really getting close to Feathertailed Gliders , which are super cute and unbelievably soft.

      Finally, I’d like to thank our guide Claudia, who was fantastic. She provided a lot of insights on the Sanctuary and the different animals and allowed us ample time to view and/or get close to the wildlife.

      Overall, I can definitely and wholeheartedly recommend a visit to Moonlit Sanctuary be it during the day or at night, but if you’ve got the chance, go for one of their night tours.

      Super fun place for someone who loved animals. Very well organised and maintained. The staff is extremely courteous and you’ll definitely have a fun time interacting with Kangaroos, Wallabies, Dingos and many other native animals.

      Went there with my wife, 15 year old nephew and 15 month old granddaughter. There were no booking fees when you don’t book online. Ample parking on arrival. You can buy food for kangaroos and wallabies, but we chose not to. Be aware that if you want to attend presentations you will need to pay an additional $25 each. I didn’t realise this but we opted out of this offer. It’s a smallish venue with a range of indigenous wildlife. Pleasant walk and places to have picnics. A cafe next to the souvenier shop. It’s very child friendly. The kangaroos, wallabies and ducks look forward to being fed. Other creatures are confined to enclosures.

      It was fun!! There are lots of interesting animals to see and experience options. They also offer many shows each hour. Staff were nice. The tickets are also affordable and worth the experience. I recommend visiting early in the morning or night when the animals are active ?

      In every country there’s bound to be a market and eatery crowd and tourist magnet. In Melbourne CBD, this is one of a handful of them that’s worth a visit. Don’t be daunted by the crowd. Walk around and savour the smell of whatever is cooking or buy whatever produce that’s in season. Good accessibility with public transport nearby. Dine in the food hall or alfresco.

      I prefer the Victoria Farmers market. This one was a bit too small and seemed overly focused on goods instead of foods and agricultural products.

      I like it because you can find and support the entrepreneurs and small business owners but the main food market was like a grocery store and then the other food sales and some small goods shops and restaurants weren’t accessible from the inside, you had to circle the building to get to them.

      The mall section and a seafood restaurant and coffee shop they had were really nice. I’d say stick with Victoria Farmers Market if trying to decide. But both are better than only supporting Coles and Woolworths.

      I did the e-bike tour with tour guide Matt today and it’s highly recommended! The bike tour took us about 4 hours including lunch break, riding bike bit south side of Melbourne around botanical garden and stadium through up to north side around CBD along spring street and Fitzroy. we stopped at about 5 spots and each time we learnt about some history and stories, very informative! Bike condition was good, staff were friendly! thank you

      Very good service from these guys at blue tongue bikes. The process of ordering bikes online and going to pick up was extremely easy. Hired 2 electric bikes for 2 days whilst in Melbourne and had a great time riding them around and exploring. Having the electric bikes makes it very easy to get to st kilda and back from the city.

      I have never been soo satisfied in a gym until I found Fitness First Flinders St Platinum. I personaly believe that every gym are the same but never the staff. In my opinion, no matter how perfect or moderm a gym can be, without a staff that can matched its greatness, that gym could and or would have been rubbish. Staff here at FF Flinders are are awesome. Special mention to Flossie who always have the brightest smile and the most positive vibes and the best part of her is that, she always have the ears that listen to my sentiments and corn-ey jokes even in my very F* up english ?. Kian who always have something to share about nutrition and even in life itself. Kian made me feel safe aswell during the day I had a fun but terrible wormy legs that resulted to me stumbling on the floor a few times after maxing out leg training. He was the first one to respond leaving his post without thinking twice. Together with the gym marketing manager Scott and Facility manager Kieran and the maintenance guy in the locker room, all of them made it sure that my safety is their utmost priority. Also to Justin who always have the time to attend what I need. Last but definitely not the least to Matilda Qin, my PT for 12 sessions. Thumbs in the sky for this awesome lady who thought not just how things work in the gym nor how things are properly done but how you train yourself mentaly as well. Balance between strict and tricks. Time spent with her is worth every penny. Nothing in the gym I can say that needs to be revamped. Perfect in my eyes and needs. Thank you FF Flinders St Platinum.       WORST club in Melbourne. From sales to management, they are all money takers.

      They don’t respect what’s actually in the contract, from overcharging, to charging during “free/complementary periods “ to creating more loopholes for refunds… honestly the worst experience I’ve had. Also they are never available really hard to deal with this gym. The very worst part is that this doesn’t happen just to me, but I have asked friends and they all share the same thoughts. This club deserves a minus 5 stars rating.

      From Brissy but in Melbourne for a girls trip and just needed a day pass to train. I called ahead and spoke to Adam…? Sorry, I can’t remember the name but the guy on the phone was super helpful. Staffed hours start at 5am which is great for someone like me that needed to see the admin team to get in. Johs (spelling sorry!) at the desk was super friendly and accommodating. Made the sign up process super efficient and easy. Excellent service, really would recommend the team here.

      At this library, you can simultaneously enjoy a book and pretty views of the Yarra River! The library has a relaxed ambience, making it perfect for studying. There are also a great selection of books and plenty of quiet spaces available. Moreover, the top floor has some table tennis equipment that you can play with if you’d like a break from your book or study session.

      Such a nice location with cool Cafe around and beautiful sunset you can watch. It has window seats, but it is quite popular, so if you’d like to work with good view, hurry to get there! It has quite zone you can study. And third floor toilet has shower ? (interesting). But there are no female only toilets which I found weird. Overall really cool library I like to read books.

      A beautiful library by the Yarra River. Whether you want to study or read a book or two, I cannot think of many better places to go than here (I don’t seem to be alone in this thought as those window seats seemed mighty competitive).

      Being in the free tram zone doesn’t hurt either.

      I loved the building in the shopping centre,we just entered and I saw it and was in shock. They also have an over sized clock that plays a show every hour and chimes every fifteen minutes. But the shops I saw in the mall were not good shops. No Kmart, target or even big w in this massive store I don’t think I overly cared about any store in this shopping centre besides the Lego store.

      This place is almost overwhelming, there is so much to see and the scale of the art/architecture is something to behold. Shopping, eating, and simply taking it all in, you can easily loose a few hours.

      A train station, a shopping mall and a monument all in one!

      Definitely recommend taking the time to enjoy the view of the shot tower while visiting. It’s unbelievably beautiful!

      I am not a big fan of shopping malls but Melbourne Central is different because it incorporates the historic Shot Tower. It also has the added advantage of the railway station. There are plenty of shops and eateries.

      I had a wonderful experience at HOYT. The place was impeccably clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Despite English not being my first language and facing challenges in communication, Dominick and Charles at the store went above and beyond to assist me. Their patience and willingness to help were truly commendable. I am grateful for their exceptional customer service and would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to them. Highly recommended. ?

      Well that was a surprise. Haven’t been there before but so glad we made the trip. Love how you can buy tickets and arrange food at the self serve checkout. Saves so much time. Plus there’s a bar. How fabulous is that! Can take a drink with you into the movie or have a relaxing one in the bar area beforehand. Also loved the ability to choose your seats when buying tickets. No hassle at all. (We don’t have any of this where We come from sadly)

      Simple, no-frills place with mostly affordable tickets with good offers if you’re a member. There are 11 screens, of which 2 are Xtremescreen. The Xtremescreen is bigger with better sound quality than the regular ones for sure. The picture quality and audio is very good. Be prepared to watch a bunch of advertisements before the movie.

      Don’t miss the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie. It’s an amazing experience on the Xtremescreen!

      Steer clear of Hoyts Melbourne Central if you have other options. Our theatre was dirty and several patrons had to go and complain before someone came to clean, which 1 staff member couldn’t have possibly covered off before the movie started as each row was dirty. The bathrooms were equally unloved and again – staff had to be prompted. If Richmond (Victoria Gardens) isn’t too far out of your way; it’s impeccable and staff are waiting after each session with broom and pan ready to go! With so many visitors that would be in the CBD, Melbourne Central really needs to pull its socks up!
