      Have purchased heaps of these in Australia and tried my first 2 in New Zealand recently. They do not taste the same. I had King William Chocolate. It was like a normal milkshake. It wasn’t very chocolaty and you couldn’t taste the banana like the Australian ones. The Australian ones you usually get a bit of a head freeze from them, they are that cold and the straw doesn’t move, nice and thick. The NZ ones are also more expensive. I wont be buying anymore in New Zealand, they aren’t worth the price.

      I have recently had my house “insect bombed”, which I am very happy with. When I booked, I was warned that it would be at least four weeks before they had a free slot, but it was worth the wait. Detailed instructions, on what I needed to do prior, and date was agreed on. A message sent the day before to remind me, and a very pleasant young man arrived right on time. I was reassured by his timeliness and approach. Left him to carry on, and came back to a house later in the day. I was not aware of any smell, which I was grateful for.

    The Anzac class (also identified as the ANZAC class and the MEKO 200 ANZ type) is a ship class of ten frigates; eight operated by the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) and two operated by the Royal New Zealand Navy (RNZN). During the 1980s, the RAN began plans to replace the River-class destroyer escorts (based on the British Leander class frigate) with a mid-capability patrol frigate and settled on the idea of modifying a proven German design for Australian conditions. Around the same time, the RNZN was seeking to replace their Leander-class frigates while maintaining blue-water capabilities. A souring of relations between New Zealand and the United States of America in relation to New Zealand's nuclear-free zone and the ANZUS security treaty prompted New Zealand to seek improved ties with other nations, particularly Australia. As both nations were seeking warships of similar capabilities, the decision was made in 1987 to collaborate on their acquisition. The project name (and later, the class name) is taken from the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps of the First World War. Twelve ship designs were tendered in 1986. By 1989, the project had selected a proposal by Germany's Blohm + Voss, based on their MEKO 200 design, to be built in Australia by AMECON at Williamstown, Victoria. The modular design of the frigates allowed sections to be constructed at Whangārei, New Zealand and Newcastle, New South Wales in addition to Williamstown. The RAN ordered eight ships, while the RNZN ordered two and had the option to add two more. The frigate acquisition was controversial and widely opposed in New Zealand, and as a result, the additional ships were not ordered. In 1992, work started on the frigates; 3,600-tonne (3,500-long-ton) ships capable of a 27-knot (50 km/h; 31 mph) top speed, and a range of 6,000 nautical miles (11,000 km; 6,900 mi) at 18 knots (33 km/h; 21 mph). The armament initially consisted of a single 5-inch gun and a point-defence missile system, supported by a missile-armed helicopter. In addition, the ships were fitted for but not with a torpedo system, anti-ship missiles, and a close-in weapons system. The last ship of the class entered service in 2006; by this point, the RAN and RNZN had embarked on separate projects to improve the frigates' capabilities by fitting the additional weapons, along with updates to other systems and equipment. Since entering service, Anzac-class frigates have made multiple deployments outside local waters, including involvement in the INTERFET multi-national deployment to East Timor, and multiple operational periods in the Persian Gulf. As of 2014, all ten ships are in service. The RAN intends to start replacing theirs in 2027 when their first Hunter-class frigate is commissioned, while the RNZN ships will remain active until the mid-2030s.

      Usually I find these places are awesome but today in Onekawa Napier my machine went into error while washing so the washing had only done a wash and stopped and as there is never anyone around to help I had to do the wash again in another machine so twice the cost and time not ideal.

      Great when there has been loads wet weather or needing to wash lots of bedding. Machines are quick and can carry 2-3 times a load at home. Lots parking and shops nearby to get some bits while waiting for washing. Has always been clean when I have visited also has had plenty of machines so not waiting for free one

      Pet/animal dedicated washing machines are great, bit annoying how you can only load/pay for cards with $10 increments but the card is $1 so you’re always going to have $9 sitting on the card

      Good washing machines and dryers. Different sizes are available with reasonable prices. Small washers are 14kg and large ones are 18 kgs. Small dryers are 14kgs and big dryers are 22kgs.

      I have attached the photos for costs for different machines. It is opposite of hiltom swimming academy.

      Parkings are limited to 4-5 cars so street parking can be used.

      Expensive and their card dispenser has obviously been rigged so the card doesn’t come out. So you top up and the card gets stuck. Had to use my keys trying to ply out the card I’d just put $20 on.       Good facility, clean, plenty of machines, clean, good condition dryers & washers, small to x-large in both. $10 x-large load washing – $8 for 30mins in x-large dryer, you choose the heat. You have to purchase a smart card $3 initial cost for card & then top it up to use the machines, this is easily done at the dairy right next to the laundromat. Limited parking available directly outside the front.

      the washing machine and dryers never get cleaned so it’s dirty every time i’ve been. the vending machine was out of order and didn’t have a sign up and i put money in it and i raised concerns with the owner next door in the two dollar shop and he said it has nothing to do with him and he refused to put up an out of order sign to stop other people from loosing their money. don’t use the vending machine there unless you want to loose money. also probably the most expensive laundromat.

    A major earthquake occurred in Christchurch on Tuesday 22 February 2011 at 12:51 p.m. local time (23:51 UTC, 21 February). The Mw6.2 (ML6.3) earthquake struck the Canterbury region in the South Island, centred 6.7 kilometres (4.2 mi) south-east of the central business district. It caused widespread damage across Christchurch, killing 185 people in New Zealand's fifth-deadliest disaster. Christchurch's central city and eastern suburbs were badly affected, with damage to buildings and infrastructure already weakened by the magnitude 7.1 Canterbury earthquake of 4 September 2010 and its aftershocks. Significant liquefaction affected the eastern suburbs, producing around 400,000 tonnes of silt. The earthquake was felt across the South Island and parts of the lower and central North Island. While the initial quake only lasted for approximately 10 seconds, the damage was severe because of the location and shallowness of the earthquake's focus in relation to Christchurch as well as previous quake damage. Subsequent population loss saw the Christchurch main urban area fall behind the Wellington equivalent, to decrease from second- to third-most populous area in New Zealand. Adjusted for inflation, the earthquake caused over NZ$77 billion in damage, making it New Zealand’s costliest natural disaster and the 21st-most-expensive disaster in history.

      A number of problems: – The place was filthy. – Only one of the two available 9kg machines was actually working. – The dryer I used made a hell of a noise and hardly dried my clothes. Had to waste another $5 and 25 minutes trying to get my clothes dry.

      This place is definitely not up to the usual Liquid Laundromat standard and I definitely won’t be going back.

      I would give this laundromat a better rating but there are multiple issues. Firstly, we found the place to be considerably dirty. The roof is missing panels, machines are covered in uncleaned old detergent, and some of the dryers are broken and rusted. Secondly, it’s unreasonably expensive. A mid-range washing machine costs $9 per load, whereas other laundromats cost around $6 for an equivalent load. Lastly, there’s no seating or a place to wait. Would recommend anyone to go elsewhere until these issues are fixed.

      I don’t recommend going to this laundromat at all. The washing machines are really dirty, hairs and sticky fluff all over the detergent tray. Also, the drying machines are really rusty and smelly. The place itself was very messy and dirty with random dirty stinky clothes that were left on the top of the machine. The floor area is covered with dust, sand, and laundry detergent everywhere. This place looks like a disaster. No proper and enough chairs to sit while waiting. Paying and operating the machines were such a hassle PLUS it’s very overpriced, it’s easier to pay directly using the Eftpos like other laundromat rather than paying for another dime just to use a lame card at this place. Only went to this one because it is the closest to where we are currently. Save yourself.

      Plenty of washers and dryers including very large washers for that difficult to clean & dry bedding. Very good place. By the way, the rules are very clear, if a washing machine has finished and nobody has emptied it then you’re allowed to empty it yourself. Simply place their washing on the stainless steel bench for them to sort out themselves. Same rule applies for the dryers. Be respectful of others and you’ll have no issues. Peace ?

      This is my 2nd time being here. The machines are clean, the place itself is clean(ish), up the sides of the washing machines could do woth a clean out. ForThe people using this facility have always been really nice for example I couldn’t reach the last of my washing and a person helped me. Someone else entertained my daughter for a minute or do till I transferred some clothes from the washer to the dryer
