      A great city library for current popular books and magazines. I frequent the place for the latest issues. Very comfortable, with lounges and seats about. I have my own computer, I don’t need to use a public one, so I cannot comment on that. All in all a nice place to drop in, and great for locals. Staff are friendly.

      Was a bit tricky to find this building as it is inside war memorial building (really not clear) and my reason for coming here was to print out some government paperwork ( what is it with needing print outs) but then on the computer we only had 15minutes which if any has used a government website you can not do anything in 15min. Now about the library not many books but a nice layout. Would I come here again?= I don’t think so.

      The entire centre needs a desperate upgrade. The entrances into the carpark are a disgrace and are in need of basic maintenance. How hard is it to paint lines and use a high pressure hose? The Rooftop dining area is looking tired and the selection of stores in the centre is average. No more nail bars or tanning salons.

      Visited Kotara Westfield this morning to pick up some items I needed. The car park was clean and easy to get into, not needing to get a ticket as it reads your number plate. There was a lift for anyone wishing/needing to use it. Bathrooms were clean and smelt fine and tables in food court regularly wiped down by staff.

      I mean, it’s fine. Its perfectly serviceable. If you want to see a movie, you can. Snacks are overpriced, but that’s expected everywhere. The premises is clean and there’s a good variety of movie. The arcade is empty of customers and almost empty of games, which is a shame.

      This cinema complex is all 1 level, no stairs, so easy access for everyone! The Cinemas have no stairs, and once you enter the doors, you are at the rear seats. Lots of parking and bus access right outside the front door. Friendly, helpful staff who are happy to help. Variety of usual goodies, and there is a Timezone within the building. Good variety of movies and screen times. This complex is a dinosaur now that could benefit from renovations, and cinema seats need to be fixed. If you’re after an easy access cinema, this is for you!

      Place made me sick. The minute you walk in there is a strange smell, the seats feel damp, place has a weird dankness to it and a terrible musty smell. After 15 mins my eyes started to water, I was sneezing throughout the movie, eyes burning and next day I feel sick. Pretty sure this place has mold.

      The bike trail is great for biking as well as walking. There is a waterfall around the little flaggy creek road, which is a great site. You won’t be able to get to the waterfall from the route which Google maps takes you through. You would have to park at the glenrock mountain bike trail parking and then walk or bike from there.

      Glenrock is the best for all types of riders! You can take it easy along fire trials or have some fun over the pump tracks. There has been some brilliant improvements made to Kenny’s. This gives a very versatile area for all levels of riding.. My 6yr old daughter has come along way and now is not afraid of just about any type if terrain. If you want you can make a full day of it and take the kids down to the beach and have a picnic. A must for all types of riders and families alike.

      The top lookout is absolutely beautiful. Impressed with the free gas BBQ SYSTEM surrounded by gorgeous high trees with plenty of shade and the BBQ area is next to public toilets which was a plus. Great for families and their dogs. First time visiting and loved it.

      A very nice park with breathtaking views. There is plenty of parking as well. It’s pretty close to the bogey hope as well so you park here and then walk down to the hidden gem. There is a lookout spot here as well which offers a great view of the horizon as well as the Newcastle beach towards the left.

      A spot on place for a nice walk and a swim as well if you wanna go down the bogey hole.

      Beautiful park. Drive or walk through the park. There are plenty of places to take a photo. Brilliant flower garden at the time of walking through. Wonder views of the ocean. Nice walking trails. It’s worth a look. Toilets and BBQ facilities are available.

      For as far as I don’t go every day, the park was excellent. We were there for the Newcastle Permanent Cinema unde the stars and the evening was a superb event. Particularly for the fact the weather was on our side.

      Would go one day in the day time to see the nature in full daylight.

      Was nice, hope will be same on my next visit.

      It’s a very interesting art gallery set up in an old prison. It’s worth a visit! Entry is free, but you can donate $5 at the entrance if you like. I think the art is for sale as well. The prison cells are interesting to see, one cell was padded and had fingernail scratches on the door… ? We visited on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t crowded.

      Fighter World has some absolute legends of the RAAF – highlights are the F-111, F/A-18, Sabre and Mirage. Was great to see the weapons systems outside the Mirage and F/A-18 so you could see how it worked and was maintained. I appreciate seeing interiors components on display as reference for making models. We visited Fighter World during the 2023 air base open day, so the photos I’ve shared are probably a bit busier than usual!

      Fantastic museum with great staff, great little cafe and the opportunity to chat with an ex-fighter pilot was an amazing experience. Also brilliant to have an almost constant air show going on outside with F35’s taking off and landing right in front of the observation deck. The day we were there, they had just unpacked a very impressive F35 flight simulator and were getting it ready for public use. A huge thumbs up for this fascinating display.
