      Great bakery with a selection of bread and cakes backed fresh daily. The sourdough, vanilla slice and custard tarts are a standout. Every time we went there were people lining up and the product is a testament as to why this is. A must try in Port Macquarie.

Their artisanal loaves boasted a variety of flavors, and I couldn’t resist trying a few. From classic baguettes to hearty whole-grain bread and rolls, the crusty exteriors and soft, flavorful interiors were simply delectable. Their sponge cakes were a letdown—dry and lacking the much-needed syrup that defines a delightful treat.

      After one year living in Port Mac, we finally found our go-to bakery! We had the chocolate gateau and it was amazing, best thing is it was gluten free. The French baguette has got a lovely bit to it, flavoursome. Seeing the empty shelf end of the day every time is simply the proof it’s an awesome bakery. Thanks to the friendly staff and baker Brandon.

      5 star swimming school with the lovely Maxine. We came up from Sydney and got into swimming classes and got 2 kids who could previously do nothing zooming through the water to the edge after 7 lessons. Lovely professional staff, clean environment.

At other hairdressers I’ve been left waiting while the hairdresser does too many things not so here the team was awesome. An absolute pleasure. This is now my regular hairdresser. My haircut is exactly what i wanted Lauren listened and made it perfect. Such delightful service to receive a menu as you are seated and get a massage chair and lovely head massage while washing my hair.

      First time at Plum. I am an older professional woman who was exhausted after a long working day and also recently arrived in Port. Chloe did a great short fresh cut and was very personable and perceptive. Lovely clean bright premises and refreshments showed an understanding that haircut time is more than about haircuts for most women. Very happy.

      We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Maharaja Tandoori Indian restaurant once again. The food was amazing and plentiful. The waitress that served us was friendly and very accommodating. Food and drinks came out quickly. Service was excellent. Thank you for a lovely evening. We always look forward to eating at your lovely restaurant every time we are in Port Macquarie. You always know a great restaurant when the plates are empty!!!

      Good value Indian restaurant near the water. I found the service to be quick and efficient, even on a busy Friday night. The food was tasty and the staff were friendly.

      We went there on Saturday night for dinner. Restaurant was half empty and still it took 1.5 hours for food to arrive. We did not order anything fancy, just the normal food. Still we had to wait for ridiculously long time. Staff was very arrogant and did not answer us well when we asked about expected time for serving food. Food taste was okay, just like any other average indian restaurant. Cherry on top was: My curry had a plastic piece in it and the staff blatantly answered “It must be from a box”. I was left speechless by this remark. I would never recommend this place. Waste of time and money.

      We were staying at the motel across the road from Maharaja and decided to have a takeaway tonight. Butter chicken and Mumbai beef were ordered , with rice and two breads. The food was absolutely ? delicious ! Best Indian food I have had in years ….So plentiful and tasty. A must have experience if you are in Port Maquarie .
