      From the quote where Craig went through our needs and expectations, to cost, to experience of their service, to the follow up calls by Lari, everything was first class.

      Josh and Shamraaz called to ask if it would be okay to come a little earlier, it was and they arrived right when they said they would.

      They were such hard workers and made sure I knew exactly what was happening and that my property was treated with respect.

      Everyone who attended made sure they introduced themselves to me on arrival and let me know what they were doing.

      The carpets feel so soft and beautiful and look wonderful, the leather coach looks like new and feels soft and protected and the other couches have been completely rejuvenated. Our mattress looks so clean and it seemed to make a real difference to my quality of sleep last night.

      The sample bag at the end was really a lovely touch. I am going to sneak off by myself and devour those beautiful cookies very soon.

      100% recommend Diamond Carpet Cleaning services. Friendly, professional and quick. I’ve used their services a number of times and each time they have brought my carpets back to life, especially considering that my carpets are over 20 years old! Stain removals are their forte. Nothing is too hard or too difficult for them. I’ve spilt paint, glue, and wax over the years; even had a Galileo Thermometer explode over the lounge room carpet. Each time, Diamond Carpet Cleaning have been able to treat and repair my carpets making them look brand new again. Love the yummy thank-you cookies as well!

      Great location and great value. Manage to get a single room with just 60 dollars. But it has no air conditioning and the room I don’t know why but it is like an oven. But it is cheap though.

      The restroom and shower is shared. But there is a fridge and TV in the room.

      The staff are really nice and friendly. Just stay for night but he is kind enough to tell me the landmark in Rockhampton.

      You can just park your car there and basically a lot of places are in walking distance as it is located in the town.

      Overall it is not a bad place to stay if you are looking for a cheap hotel.

      Went for lunch. Wasn’t very busy but still had a 45+ min wait for very underwhelming food, which then had to go back as it was missing items.

      On the positive side, the bar man was friendly and the food was inexpensive. Though seem over priced to compensate.

      The room was dirty, the aircon filter so clogged it would hardly work, the Tv was not on it’s mount on the wall and there was no remote. The door out to the balcony had glass that was almost falling out. Then the showers were filthy and moldy. The last problem is not the hotels fault. but might make you think again about this hotel…..thousands of birds roost in the trees by the river and they sqwark all night.

    Rockhampton is a city in the Rockhampton Region of Central Queensland, Australia. In the 2021 census, the population of Rockhampton was 79,293.Rockhampton is one of the oldest cities in Queensland and in Northern Australia. In 1853, Charles and William Archer came across the Toonooba River (which is now also known as the Fitzroy River), which they claimed in-honour of Sir Charles FitzRoy. The Archer brothers took-up a run near Gracemere in 1855, and more settlers arrived soon thereafter, enticed by the fertile valleys. The town of Rockhampton was proclaimed in 1858, and surveyed by William Henry Standish, Arthur F. Wood and Francis Clarke; their chosen street layout closely resembled the Hoddle Grid of Melbourne, consisting of a grid of wide boulevards and laneways, something which was uncommon, at the time, in Queensland. Within a year, gold was found at Canoona, and led to the first North Australian gold rush. The Canoona gold rush led to an influx of migrants who quickly transformed Rockhampton into the second-largest port in the state; during this period, Rockhampton was nicknamed the "City of the Three S's"—"sin, sweat, and sorrow". Subsequent gold discoveries at Mount Morgan Mine, which was (at that time) one of the most-productive gold mines in the world, laid the foundations for much of the city's Victorian architecture. The city is noted for its Queenslander architecture, especially in the areas of Allenstown and the Range. Rockhampton is also a popular tourist destination, known for its history and culture, supporting such institutions as the Rockhampton Art Gallery (one of the most extensive regional galleries in Australia) and Central Queensland University, with campuses across five states. There is also the Rockhampton Heritage Village and the Dreamtime Cultural Centre. It is also famous as the hometown of Rod Laver – one of the best tennis players in history.       This is a nice museum with amazingly preserved pieces of history. Nearly in the heart of Rockhampton, inside the railway station you will discover how the trains of the area operated over the centuries and what it meant for the growth of the town.

      Staff members looking after the place are always smiling and passionate about this important place. Enjoy taking a look at what the inside of the carriages used to be and get a fantastic photo of sitting in the train driver’s seat! Lastly, have a ride on the tram cart that travels through the town, lots of fun for the family.

      Great little zoo with a good variety of native and other animals and surprisingly, it’s free to enter! High quality exhibits and enough here to keep you entertained for a good hour or so. Great for kids since they can get up close with many of the animals (crocodiles excluded of course ?) Give a gold coin or two as a donation if you can to help keep the place running. Well worth the stop if you’re in the area.

      This place is amazing. I can’t believe it’s free?!? There are plenty of animals to watch, and the gardens are lovely. Hand Sanny available and park maps too. The only down point for me was if you want the Loo, you’d need to walk to the cafe down the hill.

      The best thing about the zoo is that it is free if charge and the opening hours are very long. The animal are mostly of the common species, however they are in comfortable. The animals has many things to eat, there are signage for you to read. It’s very interesting as there are zoo keepers will talk to you about the animals. Do give a donation to the people.

      The Kershaw Gardens is an amazing playground that provides any childlike inclined person tons of fun from the water play area to the multi story climbing net. Put all of this together with a fully covered play area for protecting the family, this has it all. This feels great for the entire family and i would recommend it for all. Come and play in the park, have a BBQ then spend the afternoon relaxing in the water play. Do not miss !!

      My kids loved it. 11 & 9 and they were entertained for over an hour. So much stuff to play on (hamster wheel, 2x zip lines, in ground trampolines, the massive climbing structure and two slides off it.) The water play area was cool too. Only wish the monorail thing was working.

    Rockhampton is a city in the Rockhampton Region of Central Queensland, Australia. In the 2021 census, the population of Rockhampton was 79,293.Rockhampton is one of the oldest cities in Queensland and in Northern Australia. In 1853, Charles and William Archer came across the Toonooba River (which is now also known as the Fitzroy River), which they claimed in-honour of Sir Charles FitzRoy. The Archer brothers took-up a run near Gracemere in 1855, and more settlers arrived soon thereafter, enticed by the fertile valleys. The town of Rockhampton was proclaimed in 1858, and surveyed by William Henry Standish, Arthur F. Wood and Francis Clarke; their chosen street layout closely resembled the Hoddle Grid of Melbourne, consisting of a grid of wide boulevards and laneways, something which was uncommon, at the time, in Queensland. Within a year, gold was found at Canoona, and led to the first North Australian gold rush. The Canoona gold rush led to an influx of migrants who quickly transformed Rockhampton into the second-largest port in the state; during this period, Rockhampton was nicknamed the "City of the Three S's"—"sin, sweat, and sorrow". Subsequent gold discoveries at Mount Morgan Mine, which was (at that time) one of the most-productive gold mines in the world, laid the foundations for much of the city's Victorian architecture. The city is noted for its Queenslander architecture, especially in the areas of Allenstown and the Range. Rockhampton is also a popular tourist destination, known for its history and culture, supporting such institutions as the Rockhampton Art Gallery (one of the most extensive regional galleries in Australia) and Central Queensland University, with campuses across five states. There is also the Rockhampton Heritage Village and the Dreamtime Cultural Centre. It is also famous as the hometown of Rod Laver – one of the best tennis players in history. The city, served by the Rockhampton Airport, acts as a gateway to local tourist hotspots such as the Capricorn Caves and Mount Archer National Park, as well as regional tourist attractions including the historic town of Mount Morgan; other notable sites include Yeppoon and the Capricorn Coast, alongside the offshore island chains that include Great Keppel Island.

      We are new Goodlife members. Decided recently to make positive healthy choices which includes exercise. The staff at Goodlife are so friendly and helpful. We are trying their various group fitness classes. The instructors are very interested in new members, making sure we feel at ease and we are encouraged to work at our own pace and abilities. We have also started using machines which will improve our strength and endurance. The facility is spacious with plenty of machines available so you can go smoothly through your routine. Other members have been very friendly making our time really enjoyable.

      The people are nice and there is a lot of equipment, but half of the equipment is so outdated. It’s like this gym was outfitted from a closing down sale from a gym in the 90s. I’m sitting on the seated row/lat pull down machine and as I row I literally move the entire machine if I don’t brace against the floor. The movement patterns of many of these machines aren’t very good either. Hammer strength should be the industry standard.

The fitness trainers are consistently positive, provide awesome music, and have enthusiastic participants creating a perfect workout environment!       Highly recommend Goodlife Rockhampton. I’ve been away from the gym far to long and I was welcomed at Goodlife with a smile and a great team. When I had my first PT session the staff were knowledgeable and friendly, the facility itself is modern, clean and first rate. Can’t recommend it enough.
