      I had a horrible experience with Hoppies Southport. I brought my new car in to get a full detail service, seats steam cleaned and the lot. All seats were left with water stains as shown in the photo attached and a large chip was made on my console. I returned to make this issues obvious, where they then told me that ‘the guy who did my wash was not working today, it was his day off, so they can’t do anything’ they then agreed to re steam clean my two front seats. To my disgust, once dried, there was a huge new black stain on the passengers seat. I was really looking forward to getting my car cleaned properly but this was a terrible effort and extremely disappointing. Do not recommend coming here ever or wasting any of your money.

      Finally had the time & was excited to get my car washed today. I was left extremely disappointed after a $115 wash & steam clean with the extras. It felt like no effort or care had been taken whatsoever, I needed to go over the entire inside myself as it was covered in cleaning spray that hadn’t been wiped, there was dust still on all surfaces. Windows were only half cleaned, making it worse than before and no evidence that a steamer was used. I was asked to unclip my baby seat which I did and put along the back seats so it could be easily moved as we had to leave the car there for over an hour, however, it was not which meant the entire back seat was completely left untouched. A really poor effort considering the money spent. Attempted to phone & contact however no response.

      Slow, expensive, and poorly done.

      Paid extra to have the interior detailed and windows wahsed in and out only to find massive streaks and some powder residue/dust all over the car.

      Worse yet, I tried to call and see if it could be redone only to find the phone number is a recording directing you to email them. A simple fix just made harder.

      I had a terrible experience at Hoppys Southport. The supervisor was extremely rude and unhelpful. Not only was my car still dirty after the wash, but none of the staff offered any assistance. To make matters worse, they were all very rude to me.

      I would not recommend this car wash to anyone. The staff clearly do not care about customer service or doing a good job. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

      As a regular regular of Hoppy’s Car Wash in Brisbane, I decided to try their Southport location today and was met with an extremely disappointing experience.

      The customer service was far below expectations, with the staff member coming across as outright rude.

      They tried to charge me $115 for what I regular get in brisbane for $75.

      To add to the frustration, there was an attempt to impose an additional $15 surge charge under the pretext of my car being ‘dirty’ – a fee that seemed unreasonable and unjustified.

      I drove off and won’t ever be back again.

      Terrible experience!

      I’ve been on the hunt for the right dentist for years. My previous one had scheduled me for multiple fillings, which meant I was strategising across two years to optimise health insurance benefits. Naturally, I braced myself for similar outcomes at Southport Dental. To my surprise, Meg, the gentlest and most personable hygienist I’ve ever encountered, reassured me about the condition of my teeth. Dr. Dan’s review of the X-rays and physical examination solidified that verdict: no fillings needed. This clinic truly stood out to me, from the outstanding care (kudos to Meg) to the state-of-the-art equipment. I wholeheartedly recommend Southport Dental.

      I am very pleased with the quality of dental work performed by Dr. Allan, which included remedying a chipped front tooth and filling four teeth.

      What i like about this practice is their genuine concern for patients’ well-being. This was evident when they scheduled a phone follow-up just to ensure everything was going well post-treatment.

      The reception staff also deserve a mention for their understanding and flexibility when I had to reschedule my appointment due to a work commitment.

      I found their prices to be quite reasonable. During my first appointment, Dr. Allan took the time to explain the different treatment options, along with their respective advantages and disadvantages. I appreciated this transparency as it made me feel informed and I felt that I was being recommended the most suitable treatment.

      When i asked Dr. Allan if any other teeth had their “service soon light on” It was reassuring to hear that everything looks ok at this stage, considering a few years of neglect on my end!

      Overall, this is a busy, extremely well-managed practice that I would not hesitate to recommend.

      I’ve been urging my partner to schedule a visit too.

      I wish I could give zero stars for the service at the reception. It’s a medical centre where people come for help, you would hope they would show some empathy and actually care. The wait wasn’t long which was nice but hearing the lady repeatedly be rude to each patient and not listening and would send people away because she couldn’t “hear them” was actually something I couldn’t bare to listen to. Once patients left they would gossip and not say very nice things which was sickening. If you want a medical centre that shows remorse and actually cares about your health then don’t come here.

      Big thankyou to dr Kelly and dr Melnick. Our mum was seeing dr Melnick for over 10 years, Who helped her so much in keeping her health condition under control. Due to her health condition in the last 3 years we had to see dr Kelly. Dr Kelly has been amazing. We are so great full to have Dr Kelly as a doctor who genuinely cares for the patient welfare, even though this is a after hours surgery. Both these doctors have saved my mum’s life and for that I will be for ever great full. These doctors deserve a metal for what they have to put up with. (MG BG)

      Some of the doctors are good. HOWEVER, in my view, a very dangerous doctor (Dr Kelly Laurance) works there as well. He takes an hour with you where he talks about things that are completely irrelevant, when you only need a script. while people are waiting desperately. In one occasion he was falling asleep a few times in front of my eyes. He touched me when he didn’t need to inappropriately in my eyes. And the worse thing – he recommended and prescribed a drug that has caused me great damage without warning about how to safely take it. The other doctors in this are actually pretty good in my eyes, but DO NOT agree to sit there and wait for Dr Laurance (if you end up there, make sure you don’t see him!). If you find yourself needing a doctor afterhours, there are other places and the hospital, and ER might actually see you faster (I have waited a few hours sometimes in this after hours doctors southport).

      Naomi and Caitlyn are both absolute gems! Their kindness and compassion while dealing with my issue today was like none other. These 2 girlies just turned my worst terrible day, back to a normal happy day!

      I first dealt with Naomi who gave me advice on how to get my script changed so I wasn’t paying money I didn’t have to pay. After speaking with the original doctors office and receiving little to no help, I returned to the pharmacy to ask for their advice. Upon my return, Caitlyn both worked together to solve the problem at hand (doctors office not resending prescription promptly). I can’t thank these 2 enough for helping me the way they did today, they totally went above and beyond to get me the help I needed and I can’t thank them enough! They deserve the world and so much more!

All I wanted was some over the counter sleeping tablets as l didn’t want heavy meds to help me sleep , I said “just the cheapest “ as money is a reason I’m not sleeping the moment .pharmacist then went on to lecture me about how I should buy melatonin over the counter .. but unfortunately I’m 6 years too young!!! Then I asked for the cheapest pack which was $10 which I have paid before for 20 tabs and only when I got home I had realised I had been ripped off by $10 there was only 10 tablets in the packet so basically I I was shamed for not being able to sleep age shamed and then ripped off ,,, well I hope you sleep tonight Greg !!!

      I have been getting my and my mothers medication for years at this chemist….

      I understand you maybe getting abused by the undesirable, no excuse to treat your long time customers rudely!

      Eliza who severed my mother today was extremely rude while other staff stood there and listened to her tone and her rudeness. For absolutely no reason

      kindness doesn’t cost anything and soon you will have no customers left.

      I see in the reviews for the last couple of reviews also express my dissatisfaction in service.

      They are very busy and still get the job done. I’ve been there multiple times and this pharmacy is always packed. Well done to the team, they have to deal with a lot of rude people like many here doing bad reviews, imagine this in real life.

      They operation is not like the dream dispensary everyone is hoping to have yet, but they sure are the only ones trying to do something for the medical cannabis industry in our region.

      We should all be grateful to have a pharmacy in GC distributing the goods to the people.

      Came here for the first time to fill a script on Friday 21/4 and was told that they would need to make my script and I’d have to come back another day to pick it up, which was fine. The young woman serving me took my number and said that I’d most likely get a call tomorrow, but “PLEASE don’t clog up our phones before Monday”. I thought this was unprofessional and she could’ve just said to call if I hadn’t heard back on Monday, but I was polite and left. When Monday came and I hadn’t heard back I called and had no one answer so I left a message. I waited several more days before calling again, and once again no response. It has been almost 3 weeks with several unanswered calls, messages left and I’ve heard nothing back. Extremely frustrating to wait for a medication when in this time I could’ve already gotten it from elsewhere.

      Not useless just no idea, I had scripts deemed “illegal” because of some TGA regulations that have now changed, I was told I would need all new scripts, I had my doctor on the phone for over an hour, you pharmacist contradicted himself, he said he was on holiday for 2 weeks, then as I said how come you’ve dispensed me before then? They then said that, 2 days ago it was changed when they had a meeting, okay So was this a meeting amongst you or the TGA? Cause you was on holiday?

      Either way I don’t understand why my scripts are accepted one day but the next they are not, I asked for my scripts back, due to this being the issue if that’s the case, went to a pharmacy around the corner (same area) And I was served no issues, no “illegal” script issues

      Not just that, the girl on the phone first, Sharon Shelly or something with an S, doesn’t give people time to explain themselves They just determine they know it all, yet she had to pass me to the “head” pharmacist, Long story short stay away from this pharmacy , it’s the only Amcal I’ve ever had issues at, only pharmacy I’ve had issues with

      Don’t use their deliver service, it’s a complete joke! Been waiting to pay for my order so it can be shipped since Monday 5th June and noone can tell me when I’ll be able to pay for my medication nor when it will be shipped. Fast forward to Thursday 8th and the pharmacist calls to ask what’s going on with my order as it’s still sitting in the shelf. Finally they take payment..       Hubby and I finally got to do our helicopter flight at Gold Coast Helitours today at Marina Mirage Main Beach, Queensland. Only took nearly a year, lol. Covid etc causing issues. Beautiful day and adventure. We got extra flight time due to a holding pattern due to waiting on a Qantas plane at Coolangatta airport. So consequently hubby got very sick in the air and the turbulence did not help.? It definitely is a fun thing to do if you’re ever on the Gold Coast near Sea World. Our pilot Mark was a great source of knowledge and the safety guys and other staff were awesome too. Parking was a nightmare though so loss of 1 star and having to park down the road and trying to locate the office. It took a phone call to find them as the signage wasn’t obvious to us. ?

      You can ride a helicopter here to see all of the Skyview of Goldcoast, but it takes long time to wait for taking it even though we booked the ticket in advance and our group had to seperate each other. As an apology, they gave us the photos taken in front of heli for free. Anyway, it’s good to have an experience to get a heli.

      I recently visited Southport Park Shopping Centre, and it was a great shopping experience. The mall had a good selection of stores, including some of my favorite brands. The layout was easy to navigate, and the mall was clean and well-maintained. There were also plenty of parking spots available, which made my visit stress-free. Overall, I would definitely recommend Southport Park Shopping Centre for a convenient and enjoyable shopping experience.

      Frequently shop here. Nice for the locals who enjoy a coffee and snack too. Aldi,Coles,Woollies,7days a week plus grocer , some good cafes and eateries, Reject shop, optometrist, bulk billing GP, bakery including Bakers Delight, post office, and more. Decent car park too.

      Oh! Amazing! Came here to talk about the lack of ATMs the Southport Park Shopping Centre, and I see I’m not the first one. Yep, noticed that too, not one single bank nor popular banks ATM like Commonwealth or ANZ, none! Just the worst ATM that you can possibly get that charges the highest fees. Super bad. Why is it that the good ATMs from major banks are getting removed everywhere and its becoming so challenging to find them? Why? Cash is fantastic! Paying with cash is much faster and easier to budget for the day, but it have become a headache to find Banks or ATMs. Why? Great shopping though, with everything we need, except ATMs. Extra cool that there are all 3 major supermarkets in it. 5 stars except for the ATM issue.
