The Kraken Iceplex in the Northgate Station is my home away from home. They also have a Red Robin and there’s a 5 Guys across the street so, yeah, this place is fantastic.

This place is so amazing! It has an awesome Starbucks, a really cool gift shop, a big hockey rink, AND a study area next to Starbucks. It also has a nice porch upstairs to get some fresh air. This place is definitely a good place to chill. Or, if you’re a hockey fan, play hockey, or just normally ice-skate (it’s also a nice place to bring your kids after getting their vaccine, cause that’s what my mom did?)

It’s great to have the light rail in this area with parking! I haven’t had issues parking there but have seen it full at certain times of the day. Northgate in general is really overdeveloped and expensive and the traffic can get bad. But worth going to the area for target and the light rail.

This is a transit hub in downtown Seattle. You can go to the space Needle from here on the monorail and take the Link below to most places from south to north as well closer to the Pier to take the Victoria Clipper to Canada and most bus routes that are from downtown also pass closer. The mall is very centered in the city and everyone knows the place. If you want to meet up with friends to central point this is the best place for you to meet. Remember to enjoy the Pike Place market which is about 4 blocks away.

Stopped by specifically to grab the monorail. The monorail station itself was clean and easy to use.

Looks like there’s some shops here, including a Nordstrom, but we didn’t explore beyond the monorail area.

Easily accessible by public transportation. Good variety of shopping and dining options. Downtown Seattle Association does a great job keeping public areas clean and hosting events with music in the square.

The mall is great with great stores and a nice smaller size which I like. However my whole life it’s always had a weird vibe to it that I can’t quite put into words, almost like its empty and full at the same time, and there’s constantly construction, renovations and changes. I’ve never been in here where every space/store was fully open and had people happily wandering around. Maybe thats because it is in an area thats always changing and people pass through here as for the metro station and don’t really pay attention to the mall.

Anyways its a great mall otherwise, clean, modern feeling, great location and access to transportation etc. but like I was trying to say, this mall and the surrounding area needs a little more love attention and is still figuring itself out. It has lots of potential.

Won’t shop here. Don’t care for their policies or politics. You can find better quality “gear” elsewhere. Sorry to the salespeople in-store as I know it’s just their job, but the corporation from the top down is a problem child in my mind. ‘Nuff said.

Good size store with decent selection. I love how long lasting my clothes last from here. I also learned that they have a recycle program for old Lululemon products where they either replace/refund and/or help you pick up products. I like that they are working on more sustainable mission. I always had great service here. There are also mark down products through the year. They have 3 big sales per year. I like their designs and my bags from them last even after 8 years of use.

04/23/23: Haha ? I spent a wonderful time wandering around here. I felt like this Target is bigger than the ones in Seattle. It was stocked well with diversified products. The store was not crowded during my visit and it was located all the way to the 7th floor of the Northgate complex. The staff was fine and good. Target is doing well with their products and customer service. I have no complains

Always love shopping at my local target but my 5 star rating today is because of your staff at the northgate location. Big thanks to Scott(in the returns counter) for taking the time to help me out today, he was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. If i could give more than 10 Stars I would.

I found parking to be easy to find, and I was also happy to see that there was a self check out because there were a lot of human cashiers that had open lanes. The option to have self check out really expedited my experience I was able to find what I was looking for in the staff was friendly..

I don’t like all the steps you have to use to get around the shops here. The Target is pretty clean and has a unique set up compared to other Targets.

I used to look forward to going to Target but those days are long gone at the Northgate location. Expect to stand in line for at least 20 minutes of you want to return something or want to checkout with a person. There was one checker working on Saturday afternoon and one person doing returns

The store is also hard to navigate since staff seem to leave their restocking carts in the aisles in such a way as to block everyone else.

The store is also dirty. I might as well have been at a Walmart.

07/21/23: it was one of my local Target locations and I can find almost anything I want at an affordable price. The whole store is clean and well-organized. I love the food section here with fresh produce and fruit. I will be back soon

I went into Target to purchase Fujifilm Contact Mini Film for my daughter’s birthday today and I left without it! Not only did I have to look for an associate for help but I had to ask 3 different employees 3 different times before deciding to just leave. I waited 20 mins without any help or follow up from anyone! Believe it or not this was only my second time at this particular Target.

Kind of off in its own corner, this Target doesn’t look as exciting or ginormous as some others, but rest assured they have all the usual Target stuff. Clean, well stocked and organized. They even have food items and a small floral nook. The only reason for not doing five stars is that checkout times can be long, long when staffing is short. Otherwise workers are nice and do their best to speed things along.

I want to first start off by saying the customer service I received at target was amazing. I Appreciated how friendly everyone was, Alice was my cashier and helped me check out. She did a fantastic job. I can really tell Target cares about their customers. Although the customer service I received was excellent, my customer experience wasn’t that great.A lot of the clothing areas looked incredibly messy, there was cheese on the shoe aisle. Cleaning wise the store could use a lot of help.

Target Superstore in Seattle WA: Do’s and Don’ts Every Shopper Should Know

    • Do wear a mask and practice social distancing. Target Superstore requires all customers and employees to wear masks. Additionally, it is important to maintain a safe distance of at least 6 feet from others while shopping in the store.
    • Do use the provided sanitizing stations. Target Superstore typically has hand sanitizing stations located throughout the store. It is encouraged to use these stations to keep your hands clean and reduce the risk of spreading germs.
    • Do check for weekly deals and discounts. Target Superstore frequently offers sales and promotions on various products. Take advantage of these deals by checking the weekly ad and keeping an eye out for discounted items.
    • Do utilize Target’s app for additional savings. Target has its own app that offers exclusive discounts, coupons, and personalized offers. Downloading and using the app can help you save money while shopping at Target Superstore.
    • Do consider signing up for a Target RedCard. Target offers a RedCard which provides additional discounts and benefits for cardholders. With a RedCard, you can save 5% on your purchases at Target Superstore.
    • Don’t forget to bring reusable bags. Target Superstore encourages customers to bring their own reusable bags for their purchases. By bringing your own bags, you can help reduce plastic waste and potentially receive a small discount for each bag used.
    • Don’t leave items in the wrong place. If you decide not to purchase an item, make sure to return it to the appropriate location in the store. Leaving items in random aisles can make it difficult for other customers to find what they need.
    • Don’t shop during peak hours if possible. Target Superstore tends to be busiest during certain times of the day, such as weekday evenings and weekends. If you want to avoid crowds, try shopping during off-peak hours to have a more relaxed and efficient experience.
    • Don’t forget to check for online ordering and pickup options. Target Superstore often offers online ordering with in-store pickup or even delivery. If you prefer a contactless shopping experience, consider using these services to save time and minimize contact with others.

When shopping at Target Superstore, it is important to follow certain rules to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. One of the key rules is to follow the store’s entrance and exit guidelines. Target often has designated doors for entering and exiting, and it is important to use the correct doors to maintain order and safety. Additionally, wearing a mask and practicing social distancing is crucial. Target requires all customers and employees to wear masks, and maintaining a safe distance of at least 6 feet from others helps reduce the risk of spreading germs. Using the provided sanitizing stations, checking for weekly deals and discounts, and utilizing Target’s app for additional savings are also recommended.

On the other hand, there are certain actions that should be avoided while shopping at Target Superstore. One of the main things to avoid is leaving items in the wrong place. If you decide not to purchase an item, make sure to return it to the appropriate location in the store to avoid confusion for other customers. Shopping during peak hours, such as weekday evenings or weekends, should also be avoided if possible. These times tend to be busier, which can lead to longer wait times and crowded aisles. Lastly, it is important not to forget about Target’s online ordering and pickup options. These services can provide a convenient and contactless shopping experience, saving time and minimizing contact with others.

The people here are nice and want to help but if you are using their online ordering or are trying to get a human to answer your question they are the worst. Their IT department was built on a budget that saw change from a $20 bill. I placed an online order that totaled about $700 and they charged my card sixteen times, refunded it sixteen times before I canceled the order. Two days later I received the entire order. Later I tried to contact customer service about a refund on an extended warranty. There is exactly one option on their website that allows you to speak to a human. That human, while wanting to help, only had the authority to transfer me to yet another phone tree with a bot that refuses to permit talking to a human. Long story short; Lowe’s is structured to prevent customer satisfaction. Any human the public can reach has zero authority to solve problems. They are a management disaster that fails to do the basic task of management which is to empower the line workers to make the business successful. That means training and giving them the respect and trust to make decisions. Avoid this place.

Response to “Owner” Note that the 800 number is exactly the number that eventually connects you to a human (after listening to a list of bot driven options) . That human has exactly zero authority or ability to solve a problem. They have elaborate apology scripts that we have all heard but no power at all. That person referred me to yet another bot driven phone tree designed to insulate Lowe’s from any meaningful assistance. Their brain damaged zeal in cutting costs results in a business model that leaves a customer high and dry.

Again I say AVOID THIS STORE.

Very friendly regular employees on the floor. Super nice with the exception of the customer service desk ladies and self check out lady. Here’s my story if you’re interested! So, I bought 3 drapes that were sitting right by checkout on its own fixture and next to that another fixture that had Seasonal stuff except Xmas and had a sign that read – 50% off last marked price and there was also a cart full of bath/shower hoses and fixtures and stuff that had a sign that also read 50% off last marked price.

So, the drapes I got were clearanced tagged at $10.00 each and an item that had to be manually overwritten and approved by supervisor. The item was in the bath cart and it wasn’t 50% off marked price they gave me 90% off that item. It took a while for them to manly override it and get the approval and I was late and had to go to the back and start work.

A few days later I purchased two more that were also clearly tagged at $10.00 but now the cart is gone as is the seasonal fixture. Left is the drapes fixture with a 50% off last marked price sign. So, I got them for $5.00 each. So again ring up at 10:00 but overridden to five each and approved.

I went in a few days later to Customer Service with my original receipt cause I was charged $10 each for the three and wanted it at $5 each. What a hassle and humiliating this interaction was! The young lady at customer service was even saying that she doesn’t understand why I think I should get any money back, saying that they weren’t 50% off even tho they up there with the other items cause it didn’t have it’s own sign, and basically that I should not be able to return them and repurchase and get a better deal.

By the end of the interaction I was frustrated and frazzled, I told her to just keep them. I want to return all three and I will be bringing in two more that I actually got at the correct price cause I can’t do anything with just two. After all that crap, She has the audacity to look at me and say (after making me feel like a scumbag for trying to actually get a deal on Christmas) if I still wanted them at the $5 each price then they will give it. So, I said there is no way that I am buying these now and I want them returned.

Knowing full well that these will go back out to the fixture after I return them and if I really wanted them then I will just buy them the next day at $5 each.

48 hours later…. all three are still sitting there on the fixture. I take them to the self checkout because that was all that was open. This time the $10 price stickers have been removed from all three. It seems the customer service took them off before they put them back. Of course the self check outlady goes to scan them and it comes up $10 so she tries to charge me $10 a piece for them and I said no they’re 50% off the clearance price marked which was $10 on these. She has to manually give me the 50% off because that’s what they did with the others so they’re $5 and she said no the 50% off is auto applied and they’re 10 dollars a piece. Which was what it rang up originally at and told her that I I had purchased two others of those same ones and got them for $5 a piece and she asked me for the receipt which I didn’t have so I said this is b*******

In the end, almighty God and the ladies of Lowe’s do not want me to have these drapes. So I walked away. Unfortunately I didn’t get to return the other two so now I’m stuck with two drapes that I’m not going to use LOL it’s pretty frustrating.

All they had to do was to return the three drapes off the original receipt and then ring them up again but override to the correct price. $15 would have been returned to my card and I would have left happy that I saved money and got a deal on something I really needed. But instead I left Frustrated and humiliated and Lowe’s CS peeps intimately lost the sale and made the whole experience horrible and humiliating for me. I guess I just was not meant to save money or get a deal.

Terrible service. We asked if they would cut PVC baseboard, and an employee said “yes.” We bought a 12 foot piece. They took an extremely long time to find someone to cut for us, and we worried we were simply forgotten.

When the cutter arrived, they told us they can’t actually cut PVC. The employee said they had a hand saw we could use, but he “didn’t know where it was.” He wasn’t interested in finding out for us.

After wasting more time in the returns line, we were refunded for the item. We explained our issue to the employee there, probably a manager, and he was sympathetic and apologized. He bumped this review up to 2 stars.

If you need any service beyond picking up an item and checking out, I would look elsewhere. Good luck at Home Depot though.

This store is currently (Q2 2023) very chaotic and difficult to shop in. Inventory is piled haphazardly around, especially in the lumber and building materials area, and employees are new and don’t know where items are stashed. Although the website states where items should be racked, they are often not there sending you on a wild goose chase. Employees are trying their best and generally friendly but you can tell this is a tough environment to be in everyday.

It’s very difficult to find someone who can cut your material for you or use the forklift once you find the items you’re looking for.

I’ve often had to return items that were incorrectly racked and therefore rang up at an unexpected price.

Returns and online orders are handled at the exact opposite end of the store from the lumber and contractor checkout which is very inconvenient.

I don’t understand why Lowe’s makes it so difficult to link all your purchases to your account; it should be as simple as typing in your phone number like it is at Home Depot. This makes returns and digital receipts infinitely easier.

The only reason I shop here is because of a rotating category with chase rewards; as soon as it ends I’m going back to Dunn and Home Depot which are much better experiences as a customer and project manager.

I found a good variety of products at Home Depot, and the staff was generally helpful. However, the store layout was a bit confusing, and I had trouble finding some items. Prices were reasonable, but it would’ve been nice if there were more sales or discounts available. Overall, a decent experience.

Three years ago, I carpeted the downstairs recreation room in my house. Due to a water leak I have to replace the carpet. I didn’t have any original paperwork so I called Home Depot on Delridge to try and find out both the square footage and the type of carpet I had ordered years ago. I tried calling several times with no response from the carpet department and I realized I called at the busiest time of day so I hung up and thought I would try later. Much to my amazement, 15 minutes later, the phone rang and it was Ben from Home Depot carpet department. He had noticed my phone call in his system and realized that he had missed it and so he called me back! He researched my original purchase, told me the square footage , told me the price and told me about the current availability of that carpet. So very friendly and cheerful . Ben is in an amazing asset to Home Depot and I hope they appreciate him. The service he provides is just incredible, “priceless” as they say.

I was there over the weekend about 4 times. And I’ve had trouble at this store and all the others but this weekend there were 2 employees who were absolutely awesome! They worked in lumber and one was.a young man who was helpful beyond words! And the second was a young lady who was very professional and knowledgeable and the best part is they came up to me and asked me if I needed help AND THEY ACTUALLY HELPED!!! Understaffed and they are storing large heavy items in the isles. Had to wait a long time for a capable person to use the fork lift to move the large objects in order to buy something. Spoke with 4 people over 30min.

Dallas was helpful – brought this one star review up to three stars. Thank you!

This store has everything! Well, not really. I went here for a shovel once and they didn’t have any. But for some reason they sell wild hog repellent. Anyways, it’s a strictly middle tier incarnation of a big box hardware store with the middle tier inventory to go with it. All said and done, I do come here all the time because it’s the most convenient place and they have most of what you need.

Always a great shopping experience! I love coming in for kitchen items. The glassware I have bought here is gorgeous and looks much more expensive than it actually is. Nobody believes the highball glasses were less than $10! Crate & Barrel is also a great place to get wood accents if you like teak and acacia home goods.

Crate and Barrel is nice for kitchen wear and decor. We always buy our counter appliances here. They sell Breville among some other nice brands. The pots and pans selection is good too.

I have only ever really gone here to shop furniture. It’s got a mix of palatable to eye watering price range. Very good selection of quality furniture, plating and decor. Lots of options to find a perfect sofa.

What sets them apart is the wonderful people that work there. Service has always been what really brings me back.

This is the place you come to buy clean rocks in a plastic jar, or a mini tree with a gnome on top for $50 and anything else you could hand make but would rather spend money on a corporation that mass sells hand goods from China. If you have a hard time decorating with little imagination this place makes it easy as possible. They have stylists that will design for you.all of the stuff here seem like they’re from Europe and or International and very friendly and helpful and positive. I really like that there’s color and an array of choices but nothing is absolutely to unique just very cute nice simple. This is a safe family environment.

Hello recently went here with my girlfriend to shop for furniture and kitchenware for our new apartment. There was one staff member who was very helpful and made us feel welcome. Sadly it ended with her. Every other staff member we encountered was very hostile and unwelcoming making us feel like our business was not wanted or we did not belong there. After being made to feel this way, we left immediately and are apprehensive about doing any kind of business with Crate and Barrel now or anytime in the future.

It’s a nice home furnishing and furniture store with lots of variety. I got my sofa from here and really loved the quality and the finish. The rugs, kitchen, and bath accessories are also quite pretty. The designs are unique and elegant. Check out the clearance items and items at a discount, as you may be lucky to pay half the price as I did. But their other new items are also priced okay. The delivery service is good as I got my sofa delivered on time and it included the installation as well, which is great.

Nice selection of modern & contemporary furniture. Good place to look for bargain items that customers have returned. We saw several wonderful chairs and sofas that looked like new, but were unpacked and returned. Sales staff was very helpful and professional. The store just didn’t have the right sofa for us.

I absolutely love my sofa with all three seat expandable to back , it’s like sofa cum bed which is so cozy ,real comfort , enjoying moments while watching TV for long time without strain of sitting straight , actually we ordered lissioni sectional fabric , after 6 Months problem we had is weekly one feather was coming out of sitting seat per month not more than 10 feathers so we went to warehouse to check new collection , but none of them was like ours we really don’t like any other sofa , we checked about more than 30 varieties , so we replaced our same sofa lissioni sectional with microfiber cover they replaced within warranty it is same like old with thick protection cover now we don’t worry of feather coming out , my husband only check about this shop in online he really loves it , worth of buying , it’s one of best thing we had in our house , employee in this are really friendly , explain things very well ,:)

Purchased a lot of furniture from Kasala and even 5 years after purchasing they came to fix a recliner issue (arrived punctually at the time they said and fixed within 30 seconds — I could have resolved on my own but they were so nice about it). Amazing customer service and just the nicest team to deal with.

Love this place! It’s filled with tourists but it doesn’t feel like you’re in a touristy shop. The prices are decent for an antique store in the middle of the city. Nice, friendly staff too! I loved looking through everything and even bought myself a little wooden turtle.

Great finds and tons of inventory. So many interesting pieces of history can be found here. The store goes on and on inside. The exterior might look small but the inside is not. I purchased a delicate item and they wrapped it and packaged it fit for travel. It was wrapped so well that I didn’t need to worry about it during transport. Great customer experience. A neat find if you can find the place among the construction of the Main Street. Parking lot is free. Did I say that correctly. Free Parking in Seattle!!! What a plus.

We stopped here before we took a cruise on a boat and Puget Sound and we’re killing some time looking at their all their antiques. It was a huge warehouse with antiques of all kinds everywhere you could look and that was pretty interesting stuff and honestly, it’s a good place just to kill some time if you’re waiting to do something down on the waterfront as well. Certainly, eye-opening to see things that grew up with now in the antique stores so that was kind of fun as well. I would say if you’re looking for a good selection of antiques in Seattle and this is probably the place to come.

I have some questions. 1. where does the money go for the racially-charged antique collection? These sorts of items should be given to black collectors or historical societies – not placed in a cabinet casually among tarot cards and antique tin cans. 2. are the specimens (especially antique ones) ethically sourced? if so, how do you manage to sell them for such low prices? pretty unheard of. 3. where does the money go for the plethora of indigenous antique items? not to mention the newly sourced materials, like feathers. this shop gave me bad vibes. employees were nice and i would like to support but need answers to these questions in order to not feel icky. thanks.

How to Shop Smart at Antique Store Seattle WA: A Quick Tutorial

Shopping at an antique store can be a fun and exciting experience, but it can also be overwhelming if you are not sure what to look for. To help you navigate through the process, here are some simple guidelines to follow:

    • Research beforehand: Before visiting the antique store, take some time to research the type of items you are interested in. This will help you have a better idea of what to look for and the price range you can expect.
    • Set a budget: It’s easy to get carried away when shopping for antiques, so it’s important to set a budget beforehand. This will help you stay focused and make sure you don’t overspend.
    • Inspect the item: When you find an item that catches your eye, take the time to carefully inspect it. Look for any damages, repairs, or signs of wear. You should also check for any markings or signatures that could indicate the item’s authenticity or value.
    • Ask questions: Don’t be afraid to ask the store owner or staff questions about the item you are interested in. They can provide valuable information about its history, origin, and any other details that may affect its value.
    • Negotiate the price: In most antique stores, you have the option to negotiate the price. Don’t be afraid to make a reasonable offer, but be prepared to walk away if the price is too high. Remember, it’s always better to pay a fair price for an item you love than to overpay and later regret it.
    • Consider condition and rarity: When assessing the value of an antique, consider its condition and rarity. Items in excellent condition and those that are harder to find are often more valuable.
    • Trust your instincts: Ultimately, trust your instincts when shopping for antiques. If something feels off or doesn’t seem right, it’s best to move on and continue your search.

Shopping at an antique store can be a treasure hunt, and with these guidelines in mind, you can make the most of your experience. Happy shopping!

I love it here! Clean! Some friendly staff and some not friendly stuff but professional. The kids love it, lots of varieties for all ages and lots to play with and be creative with if you have time to explore. Adults can buy alot roo here. Come here for my office stuff. Love that’s it’s all a dollar and they mean it!!

Store was disorganized and had a cluttered dirty floor. NOT the employees fault as he kept trying to sweep and pick up. Prices now ALL $1.25 which means a 25% price increase on all items!! Low inventory too on items I usually get. I interviewed worker who said they could not keep help. No benefits and minimum wage in an expensive city so no wonder. CORPORATE IS TO BLAME!

Customer service is lacking. It’s not entirely their fault. Everybody’s in a hurry. You get what you pay for. If you’re looking for something you’re pretty much on your own since staffing is limited.

Staff is really nice & helpful. This Dollar Tree has got be THE WORST store as far as stock & cleanliness. What can One expect in the Rainier Beach area?

I was able to find what I needed and the associate was friendly even though he was there most of the day without anyone else. Poor guy people called out from work. I’m thankful he was there to open the store.

This is the best dollar tree in the area. The location is clean and well taken care of. Aisles were clean and nicely organized. Also, the workers there are knowledgeable of where all the things are, and they are very friendly and willing to help as much as needed. I just moved to a new apartment in this area and I needed a few things and I kept asking the same girl questions of where things were and she nicely answered every time and even showed me exactly where I could find the products I was looking for. The size of this Dollar tree is huge and they definitely had everything I was looking for, but again is huge, so the girl saved me from spending hours there (which honestly if I had time I would have loved to) but I didn’t so her kindness was highly appreciated. I am planning to come back with plenty of time and check it all to see if I can get some new things for my new apartment. The parking was also great, I had no issue finding parking pretty close to the door, which was pretty nice since the day I went there was a rainy day. This business is definitely saved on my favorites on Google Maps!

This store is in an unfortunate place, near Walmart.

This is one of the smaller stores in the area and they do a good job of keeping the inventory current.

The staff is usually friendly and overwhelmed. Like many of the franchise, the staff here have the difficult task of keeping the shelves straightened amidst disrespectful clientele.
