      Gone completely down the drain with the new owners and management. The male dr is rude and uneducated when it comes to simple skills like interacting kindly with patients and listening to their needs. Told me before I even discussed my issues that they weren’t a “drug clinic” and they don’t “prescribe drugs” four people I know who go there experienced this too …. Never in my life have I felt so judged without any reason. All of the original doctors are gone, none of the old patients go here anymore. It’s honestly so disappointing. I had been going here since I was 7.

      After ONE appointment with him, I’d never step foot in there again.. Even if I was in desperate need. Feel sorry for the locals, especially the oldies… Only good thing remaining are the reception staff.

      I had visited Dr. Ali Rana for my infection in right side of the throat and he advised to visit hospital. I requested for referral but he told to visit emergency department. Also, asked if i am really bad with infection to visit hospital. Its gonna take long hours for queue.

      I have been going to this clinic for few years now. In terms of reception Alex is the best and of all the doctors I have consulted Dr Rana is by far the best! I would say he is the best I have consulted in 13 years. He really cares, he explains everything and gives you the time you need. Above all his communication is not rushed. He probes into the issue with questions and gets to the bottom of the issue. I am glad I consulted him today and I know whom to see next if I need a Doc. Thank You Doctor Rana

      Generally, I’ve had a good experience with UFS since I’ve been collecting my meds there since 2016. The staff are patient when it’s very busy, as some people, like myself, suffer with various health conditions. I’m glad there is a chemist that’s open 24 hours a day.

      I have a pharmacy elsewhere in the city but they couldn’t supply me with an Epilepsy drug script. I rang Bendigo UFS and spoke to Kerian and he was excellent! The pharmacy was able to dispense the script, problem solved! Excellent pharmacy, I may consider changing to Bendigo UFS!

      Rehabilitation unit are simply amazing, the staff the physio the gym all put up an amazing opportunity for patients to reach their best level of mobility. My rehab Dr was so wonderful and so helpful. To give 10/10 is not enough.

      This is my second time I have elected to have surgery at St John of God – I think this hospital should get an award for Service Excellency and should be be held up as such to all other hospitals. Great staff, so well trained in customer service, dedicated nursing and ward staff, great room service meals. Wish we had a hospital like this at my home town in NSW – well done to all levels from management down to hospitality and cleaners etc ?

      We had our first baby at SJOG Bendigo and had the best experience. TThe food was beautiful which we were not expecting from a hospital, the new room service menu was fantastic, we could just call and order our food at a time that suited us, the menu had so much variety and the food was delicious.       Absolutely first class care. Staff on the surgery ward and admission are a credit to St John of God. I want to recognise my so lovely nurse Amy she was so concerned with my well being I sent a extra night. Also Miss Hannah was wonderful. The hospitality staff Shirley and Charlie make a great cuppa and take the time to have a chat. When being discharged Hannah ensured I had a escort-thank you Emily for waiting with me until my husband arrived to pick me up out front
      Only saw one negative person and that was when waiting for the lift on discharge, however that one person is not a reflection of the engaging people I met during my stay across all areas of the hospital.

      Update – I just got a call from Dr. Naggapan yelling at me for writing a review and saying (I quote) – “ I dont care if you had to wait for 40 mins, there is no need to come back, take your xray report and go someplace else”.

      Back of my head says, that must be against his oath as a doctor but we are looking professionalism in the rare view mirror now. — Original Very very unprofessional practice by doctors. I had to wait 45 mins after my appointment time to be able to consult the Doctor. I could see him taking in addition phone consultations which were not scheduled because of which I had to wait for like an hour. Receptionists are good and polite but no ethical standards in the new medical staff.

      Dr. Sumo Nagappan has been terribly dismissive towards my partner who came to seek support as her mental health was bad. He asked evidence for mental health stress, spoke condescendingly towards a paying patient who obviously came to the practice seeking help or at least support. He refused to review a past medical certificate on my partners phone, asked her to leave the room to print it out with the reception’s help all the while accepting the next patients. My partner was then dismissed again to leave until she “calms down” when she vocalised that her very real symptoms feel overlooked. He explicitly stated that she is wasting his time for other patients when a consultation appointment online does not even have a time window. Dr. Sumo Nagappan seems to only open his practice to write medical certificates and not actually offer support to his patients, as he verbatim told her “what a joke” as she was crying over his dismissive behaviour. You do not see your patients as people, and as a practitioner who writes that they are experienced with providing mental health supports, my partner’s experience with him has been super terrible. I do not make this statement lightly, evidence can be provided as best as my efforts. This experience with Dr. Sumo has caused it to be more difficult for people like my partner to seek help for their mental health. I ask that he removes “mental health” from the area of interest section of his profile. The receptionist was super kind and understanding but the medical professional’s behaviour was not patient-centred at all.

      Those who don’t know, this is the new management and the new management and staff is not good at all. I came on a Saturday for a consultation, the doctor gave me a medicine which I didn’t ask for, I asked for a treatment, but he did not listen to me and when I had another consultation today, from a different doctor, showed him the medicine which was recommended and he was the one who told giving medicine is really not a good idea and useless whereas instead of the medicine, treatment was a better idea. Their own doctor is saying that it was not right and now the management doesn’t want to understand this and exploiting men

      The clinic has really gone downhill since the change in management. There are still some lovely staff but when the management changed, half of my medical records seemed to have been lost and I was prescribed a medicine that could have been potentially deadly due to a pre existing medical condition I have that was no longer on my file, it was only through my own research of the medication that I realised I couldn’t take it. This wasn’t my Dr fault as she had no idea, but for my medical file to have missing and incorrect information (it also said I have eczema when I have never been diagnosed with that) is really dangerous and very poor form for the medical practice. I also had to wait over an hour for a Telehealth appointment that lasted around 1 minute, the receptionist were helpful but I’m pretty disappointed with the dr.

      I hope the management can get itself sorted soon because I used to really like this clinic and there are still some great staff there.

      I had scheduled a quick flu shot appointment for 1pm, and it was confirmed. I arrived at 12:55 and successfully checked in with the receptionist. However, I ended up waiting until 1:10 with no updates. The receptionist then informed me that the nurse was still on a lunch break and that there was a mistake in booking me for 1pm. I was made to wait until 1:20 when the nurse finally arrived, only to be told that I needed to see a doctor before receiving the flu shot. This raised several questions for me: 1. The booking on hotdoc explicitly stated that the flu shot would be administered directly by the nurse, but after more than 20 minutes of pointless waiting, I was informed that a doctor’s involvement was necessary. All of this information could have been provided during check-in. Overall, the management seemed chaotic, with no regard for punctuality and poor communication. They showed no respect for my time, as I didn’t receive a single apology but rather an indifferent response when I had to leave. If they can’t handle a simple flu shot, I wouldn’t trust them with more complex health issues. What a waste of my lunch break. I do not recommend their services. * And to clarify, you need to actively seek information from the receptionist or else you just get left sitting there.

      So I had an appointment with Dr. Ling Zhang 2 week’s ago. I was suffering from cold and flu. She didn’t even check me thoroughly. She was rude! She was clueless about what medicine I should have. She asked me to get blood tests done and told me that she would contact me after having my report. Unfortunately, we have never heard back neither from her nor from the centre.

      On the contrary, the phlebotomist with whom we dealt was very polite and friendly.

      Yes, they are nice enough people, however, don’t understand or comply with TGA class 5 & above controlled substance regulations. I could have lost access to my medication because of thier sloppy approach. Put the wrong name on the label which is a federal offence due to what class its under. So the medication didn’t match my identification. I could be arrested and charged for that. Carries a minimum 2 years imprisonment as it is an indightable offence. Dont ask for identification to collect same medication which is also a federal offence. Lost my scripts on multiple occasions which is an E-script on thier system that my GP sent to them via usual digital means. Can’t or won’t supply a full transaction history. Won’t listen to me when I tell them thier mistake. Charge well over RRP for medication not covered under PBS. Thats $270 at crawfords and $205 at UFS. Plus UFS give a 10% discount to members. It cost $10 per year. They are a little greedy and cold in that sense. They did however let me split my bill over two fortnight’s, but I had to explain that arrangement everytime I went there for probably 8 months before they created an account? So glad I stopped shopping here. I’ve saved at least $65 per month so I get to eat regularly now. UFS are professional and know the law and will absolutely not break those laws so I’m safe to get my medication again. Honestly question the validity of thier licence to dispense.

      I attended chemist warehouse wells st Frankston at 9.45 am 28/7/23 to make a small purchase. I was made to feel most uncomfortable by the security guard, to the point of him actually approaching me and making eye contact whilst I was looking at moisturiser. This is the second time I have experienced this with this particular guard. In the future I will avoid shopping there due to this experience. Disgusting. Furthermore, when I mentioned it to the female cashier , she rolled her eyes!!!! I requested that she mention it to management, however due to response I doubt that she will.

      I’ve been coming here for a while, the pharmacist here are very helpful. I’ve also found the customer service staff smiling, Cheerful and helpful as well. On top of that the security guard in evening is helpful, cheerful and greets you on entry. Staff here seem really happy which make’s a great customer experience.

      My husband has epilepsy. Script had expired female pharmacist more than happy to give him enough to last a couple of days. Returned to pharmacy later male pharmacist refused to help.       Haven’t actually been here yet cause they didn’t have exactly what I needed but their fast messaging system on Google helped me to save time and go elsewhere. I would highly recommend using it before visiting as they can have your prescriptions ready as soon as you walk in, or at least let you know that they’re not yet available.

      I attended Prahran Midnight Pharmacy tonight to request a S3 medicine. The pharmacist was very professional and friendly. She thoroughly explained the medicine and how to take it, as well as providing some general suggestions on how to improve my issue. Great knowledge and friendly service.

      Went in last night as I was feeling sick and housemate down with flu. Told the “assistant” and he got the on the shelf cold and flu tablets. I said no thanks I want the real stuff behind the counter. He went behind the counter and acted like I was asking for heroin and the lady chemist behind the counter said “you have no symptoms of cold or flu yet so this won’t help”… I explained I was feeling unwell with sore throat… she said “well this is a waste of time as you’re not sick but you get them if you must”.

      How dare a chemist tell me whether I’m sick or not. Today I came down really unwell and took these and feel much better (not 100%) but a lot better as a result.

      What a scary and unwelcome experience. This chemist from last night needs to treat people a bit better. I left feeling like I’d been attacked AND feeling unwell.

      Rudest experience EVER from a woman I assume the acting pharmacist for the day (Sunday), with brown curly hair. We had previously fulfilled a script with this place and politely asked for another fulfilment as we had misplaced the paper script and urgently needed a new fulfilment. We brought the box in to show our details/Dr and said our Dr could send through a script as we urgently needed the medication. We were met with such rudeness, it’s face kept screwing up with such distain, saying well you’ve only been here once, and it’s only “(insert product” medication… insinuating the medication wasn’t important. How do you know this is not important, do you know our personal health records?

      I’ve never experienced such rudeness, where is the duty of care? When we could have had an e script fulfilled tomorrow (Monday) when you clearly have our details on file. Change your attitude and level of care. Absolute Disgrace!

      Edit: and I was leaving someone came in (a DR) urgently and said there was someone outside having a suspected anaphylactic shock requiring an epi-pen and the same pharmacist was showing the same distain / attitude and all she was worried about was this person paying for it, which of course she was. But light of the situation it was an emergency! This person should NOT be working in health care. The owner needs to take a hard look at who he is employing.

      And reading the comments here and your responses I’m not surprised we received this service. I suggest you reconsider your about page on your website as this is the opposite of what clientele are receiving . “All my staff share my values and know that being trusted, reliable and down to earth will lead to a valued pharmacy experience for all. I am very proud of my team of staff and the professional care they provide to our patients every day of the year.”

      The pharmacist Daniel is extremely rude. He treats you like a criminal. Even though I’m a teacher, he questioned giving me extra medication when I was going away on holiday, refusing to ring my doctor to confirm it was okay. Worse still, he refused to supply me with medication full stop. My other pharmacy was out of stock and I was fortunate enough to get it from another pharmacy. Daniel clearly has a god complex and is a controlling person. If you expect to get any favours from him you are wrong. Once I was kept waiting 20 minutes whilst he purposely kept me waiting talking to somebody about a product.His mannerisms are as rigid as you can get. He lacks communication skills and negotiation skills. To think that he is part owner of this pharmacy is farcical. He is EXTREMELY rude. You may not get what you wanted so don’t waste your time Give your money to a business that deserves to profit from you. Such a nasty little man does not deserve your business. Please go elsewhere. Do not support this business. Daniel has tried to justify himself for the bad service I have experienced with his response to my review. He personally considers the medication “unsafe to dispense” because that is his personal opinion, but why is it that two other pharmacies are only too happy to help me? Does that mean that they are unprofessional? I think not! As I reiterate : ”Daniel clearly has a god complex!” Who is the unprofessional pharmacy in this situation?

All of the staff are so lovely and always remember your name and Will has gone above and beyond for me and my whole family several times! We have been using this pharmacy exclusively for years and I highly recommend them to anyone! You are in and out with very little to no wait time at all!!!       I called ahead at about 10pm on a weeknight to check if an item was in stock for my daughter but instead of what would of have been a perfectly acceptable yes or no, was provided some totally genuine and warm advice, a product comparison and some casual knowledge droppage from a lovely staff member (whose name of course I have diligently forgotten). Thank you again though 🙂 I had not known there was a 24 hour pharmacy in Knox City (drove to Nunawading first remembering there was one open late there near the Maccas but it’s not anymore) so am so pleased that I found “Pharmacy@Knox 24” (,,,and on that note it’s all in the name really isn’t it? No mucking about there!!)

      A beacon of light (literally, amongst the cold carpark of Knox and metaphorically for me and my family on a fairly challenging day). Doing god’s work!       Really glad to have a nurse avaliable at night when all the doctors are fully booked or closed. We went on Thursday night for my daughter and the nurse there was so attentive, so lovely and gentle with my daughter.       Rude Pharmacist, no advice when getting pharmacist Only medicine, no customer service wasn’t approached by any staff. No one at the service counter had to ring the bell twice.

      Poor customer service. They treat long term customers terrible. The pharmacist is rude and needs a lesson in customer service. DO NOT GO HERE.

      The ladies that work there are great. The pharmacist is a grumpy old man who shouldn’t be in a position of control.

      Absolute worst experience, first they didnt have the medication i was after, which was fine it was the hours i spent after of them saying they have emailed to another chemist only to be told they never got the email, this happend more than once absolute worst experience ive ever had in a chemist. Chemist warehouse in gateway was an absolute delight 100% reccomend them any day

      My elderly parents in their 80’s, who have been loyal customers for 30 years have been treated in the most appalling manner by the pharmacist. My sister went to pick up 3 scripts, they lost one and the pharmacist acknowledged that they had lost a script, but she would have to return to the doctor and get another one. Obviously, as this is expensive and at this time of year difficult to get an appointment, not to mention the inconvenience, it is very annoying. My sister was annoyed, but did nothing more than shrug her shoulders and leave the shop. When she went back to pick up scripts for my parents, they returned hers, and my parents un filled scripts and told that she was banned and so where all her family and not to come back.

      Needed some diabetes test strips while on a short break in Warrnambool. Was at the shop as they opened and very very helpful. Rang them after I got back to Melbourne to thank them again for the excellent support

      Used this pharmacy since July 2018, picking up my scripts weekly, and then changed to picking them up once a fortnight. I can count on one hand how many times I walked in there and they were able to get my script with no problems. Many times I walked out and had to come back or spent a lot of time whilst they tried to search everywhere for it.

      Since July 2018 I have never kept my own scripts, always being kept at the pharmacy.

      December 2019, they gave me double dosage of my medication, because they failed to tell me my script had ran out and for some reason, this pharmacy decided to use a old one they had. Which was no longer my prescribed dose. I didn’t realise until days later, thinking a pharmacy wouldn’t do something like this when medications can be so dangerous (luckily not for my case) but this was hard for me as I had suffered withdrawals the first time my original dose was lowered.

      November/December 2019, I finally got my scripts changed to be able to pick up once a month.

      2 weeks ago I walked in there to pick up my next months supply – already one day into having no medication. Only for them to tell me they no longer have my script. No apology, not even a slight bit of concern. So I walked out on a Thursday afternoon, as a single mother of multiply children with commitments I couldn’t change so I was unable to get to the doctors anytime soon for a new script – which the more days it went – the worse it got which lead to a major downwards spiral (2 different antidepressants)
