Awesome service. I took a couple of large cotton bed covers last week, one had a bad stain I thought would be hard to remove, but the lady soaked it before washing and drying, and I am so happy as the stain is removed and the cover is beautiful. The pricing is reasonable. Nice and helpful staff. I’ll definitely go back. Also the turn around time was fast. Very happy.

Liz and the hotel team deserve five stars for their exceptional customer service. We had to cancel our last-minute booking due to flash floods and bad weather, and Liz made the process effortless. Her professionalism and empathy, even in challenging circumstances, were outstanding. We appreciate their support and look forward to visiting in the future.

We enjoyed the location, the room was clean and had everything you need but it was dated and overpriced. For over $700 for 2 nights you really shouldnt have to pay for parking either. Just my opinion, our overall weekend was good

Adina Apartment Hotel Wollongong … staying here with my partner as a gift from her sister … WHAT a great hotel room ! Very clean and well presented with a spacious balcony .

Hotel staff were all very welcoming , helpful and friendly from beginning to end .

Secure parking ? in the basement of the building before check-in made the day easier.

We only stayed one night but it was wonderful , with a very reasonably priced mini bar ? and nice amenities including a bath! ?

The hotel also has a pool?‍♂️ , sauna?? and spa? all available on our floor … unfortunately we discovered them too late to use (closing at 9pm) ??‍♂️

Very close to the beach ?and city centre ? it is a very nice place to stay when visiting Woolongong. Decent price for a room with so many luxuries.

      4 out of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful place ? you will fall in love with the beautiful scenery around. A well placed lighthouse we stopped there just to take a break and realised this is one of the nice cities in Sydney. I think around 1.5hrs drive from Sydney but well equipped with all the amenities. We were not able to roam around much due to hail storm but would definitely like to go again.

Came here with my daughter a few days ago. The store itself is honestly sad. There are numerous dead fish in the tanks that no one seems to care about. Staff was rude to my daughter and I when we were buying our items.

While the staff was friendly, they refused to acknowledge that the toy stitches were broken due to a misunderstanding with my dog. Despite offering a video as evidence, they weren’t willing to consider it, insisting my dog was to blame. Moreover, they declined a refund and suggested a replacement toy that’s specifically “geared towards the dog breed,” showing a lack of understanding. I explained that my dog has other stuffed toys without destroying them, but my concerns fell on deaf ears. Overall, a disappointing resolution and limited understanding from the staff.

It’s a big barn in which they stock lots of stuff for pets and the staff seem like nice people.

The Australian white ibis (Threskiornis molucca) is a wading bird of the ibis family, Threskiornithidae. It is widespread across much of Australia. It has a predominantly white plumage with a bare, black head, long downcurved bill, and black legs. While it is closely related to the African sacred ibis, the Australian white ibis is a native Australian bird. Contrary to urban myth, it is not a feral species introduced to Australia by people, and it does not come from Egypt.Historically rare in urban areas, the Australian white ibis has established in urban areas of the east coast in increasing numbers since the late 1970s; it is now commonly seen in Wollongong, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Darwin, the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Townsville. In recent years, the bird has also become increasingly common in Perth, Western Australia, and surrounding towns in south-western Australia. Populations have disappeared from natural breeding areas such as the Macquarie Marshes in northern New South Wales. Management plans have been introduced to control problematic urban populations in Sydney.Due to its increasing presence in the urban environment and its habit of rummaging in garbage, the species has acquired a variety of colloquial names such as "tip turkey" and "bin chicken", and in recent years has become an icon of Australia's popular culture, regarded with glee by some and passionate revulsion by others.

Such a beautiful place to visit and the best part, it’s free. We spent quite a bit of time walking around and looking at the different areas. Our favourite spot was the amazing rose garden full of wonderful perfumes coming from all the different types of roses there. Clean quiet park with a outdoor reading spot where you can read a book and enjoy nature. Definitely a must if you love Botanical gardens.. As it is a Botanical garden you must leave your beloved pet and sports gear at home but it’s definitely worth it

Honestly wasn’t expecting much since I’ve been to a few botanic gardens in NSW but this one was one of my favourites – the rose garden is stunning. Well maintained gardens with interesting themes – definitely check out the succulent garden and the cacti at St Joseph Banks Glasshouse. Free entry, multiple toilets available and a little coffee cart. Great place for a picnic

Photographers, prepare to be mesmerized by the Botanic Gardens! With it’s vibrant and diverse plant life, along with photogenic bird sightings, this place offers an abundance of stunning photo opportunities. You can easily lose track of time here, spending hours or even a whole day exploring.

Families will especially enjoy their visit, as the friendly ducks eagerly await your kids’ offerings of halved grapes, providing entertainment for hours. There are ample seating options and picnic spots scattered throughout the gardens. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle, as bubblers might not always be conveniently located on your path. Sun protection is a must, although you’ll find plenty of shady spots to cool off.

For a quick refreshment, a small coffee truck awaits, offering drinks and snacks. Overall, the Botanic Gardens exude a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere, complete with the delightful fragrance of various plants. It’s a must-visit destination for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts alike!

A hidden gem in the middle of Wollongong. This garden consists of many parts that captures all different kind of nature that one would like to see – from the most beautiful rose garden that I’ve ever seen in NSW thus far; to an arid session where you see some of the most exotic plants as if i was in africa. There’s also a tropical session within the garden, with a mountain setting in the background, which reminds me of the scenes I saw at Jurassic Park. The Wollongong Conservatorium of Music is right in the botanic garden. The historic building sets the mood with a view that one would imagine they were somewhere in the mountain of Swiss.

If you’d like to see more than the beachside of Wollongong, do come to the Wollongong Botanic Garden for a little stroll. ?

Used to go all the time when they were operating at their old location a few doors down. But a move just down the block has seemed to change almost everything about the business. The different layout is fine but they seem to stock less than what they used to, even though this place is larger, and they don’t seem to stock what I used to buy at the location. I’ve switched to Wan long and would only come here if I really needed to.

Enough is enough. I am no longer shopping here and shopping at Wan Long instead. Their body language demonstrates they do not appreciate their customers. The two ladies at the counter are extremely rude and do not have any manners.

If I am possible to give 0 stars I will definitely do so. The 2 old women were so rude. They do not even answer my questions, but when we finish paying the items in counter she tries to blame us stealing their item as we actually bought in Coles. After we provide a receipt from Coles they did not even say sorry and thanks. Goodbye, even we live nearby, we will definitely not going to come back. It is better for us to drive to Sydney to buy some Asian product.

Canberra ( KAN-bər-ə) is the capital city of Australia. Founded following the federation of the colonies of Australia as the seat of government for the new nation, it is Australia's largest inland city and the eighth-largest Australian city overall. The city is located at the northern end of the Australian Capital Territory at the northern tip of the Australian Alps, the country's highest mountain range. As of June 2022, Canberra's estimated population was 456,692.The area chosen for the capital had been inhabited by Aboriginal Australians for up to 21,000 years, by groups including the Ngunnawal, Ngunawal and Ngambri. European settlement commenced in the first half of the 19th century, as evidenced by surviving landmarks such as St John's Anglican Church and Blundells Cottage. On 1 January 1901, federation of the colonies of Australia was achieved. Following a long dispute over whether Sydney or Melbourne should be the national capital, a compromise was reached: the new capital would be built in New South Wales, so long as it was at least 100 mi (160 km) from Sydney. The capital city was founded and formally named as Canberra in 1913. A plan by the American architects Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony Griffin was selected after an international design contest, and construction commenced in 1913. Unusual among Australian cities, it is an entirely planned city. The Griffins' plan featured geometric motifs and was centred on axes aligned with significant topographical landmarks such as Black Mountain, Mount Ainslie, Capital Hill and City Hill. Canberra's mountainous location makes it the only mainland Australian city where snow-capped mountains can be seen in winter; although snow in the city itself is uncommon.
As the seat of the Government of Australia, Canberra is home to many important institutions of the federal government, national monuments and museums. This includes Parliament House, Government House, the High Court building and the headquarters of numerous government agencies. It is the location of many social and cultural institutions of national significance such as the Australian War Memorial, the Australian National University, the Royal Australian Mint, the Australian Institute of Sport, the National Gallery, the National Museum and the National Library. The city is home to many important institutions of the Australian Defence Force including the Royal Military College Duntroon and the Australian Defence Force Academy. It hosts all foreign embassies in Australia as well as regional headquarters of many international organisations, not-for-profit groups, lobbying groups and professional associations.
Canberra has been ranked among the world's best cities to live in and visit. Although the Commonwealth Government remains the largest single employer in Canberra, it is no longer the majority employer. Other major industries have developed in the city, including in health care, professional services, education and training, retail, accommodation and food, and construction. Compared to the national averages, the unemployment rate is lower and the average income higher; tertiary education levels are higher, while the population is younger. At the 2016 Census, 32% of Canberra's inhabitants were reported as having been born overseas.Canberra's design is influenced by the garden city movement and incorporates significant areas of natural vegetation. Its design can be viewed from its highest point at the Telstra Tower and the summit of Mount Ainslie. Other notable features include the National Arboretum, born out of the 2003 Canberra bushfires, and Lake Burley Griffin, named for Walter Burley Griffin. Highlights in the annual calendar of cultural events include Floriade, the largest flower festival in the Southern Hemisphere, the Enlighten Festival, Skyfire, the National Multicultural Festival and Summernats. Canberra's main sporting venues are Canberra Stadium and Manuka Oval. The city is served with domestic and international flights at Canberra Airport, while interstate train and coach services depart from Canberra railway station and the Jolimont Centre respectively. City Interchange is the main hub of Canberra's bus and light rail transport network.

Most of the staff I dealt with (over several visits) went out of their way to be helpful. There was a slight quibble re a refund but they agreed to transfer the amount in question to a bike service. I felt for the sake of good customer relations a refund should have been an automatic option. Clearly there was an opportunity to turn me into a long term customer with likelihood of my buying a new bike in near future

      My review is mixed.

The pre sales service was excellent. The young man (Nick) who served me was very thorough and helpful.

The post sales service left a bit to be desired, from not completely running me through the workings of the bicycle to not informing me of the post sales service and in store discount. Also, there was more of a discussion on how high I wanted my bike seat, with sales help push back, than was really necessary.

F45 has both improved on my fitness levels and my social and emotional well-being. The trainers are highly supportive and motivate everyone in the group training sessions to be the best versions of ourselves. The team workout environment is great for people who are inspired by other peoples motivation but are too busy to engage in serious conversations due to work, study and family commitments. I would highly recommend F45, for improving fitness levels, connecting to like-minded people with the same fitness goals and being supported by trainers who are dedicated to supporting members. I will say it’s the hardest training I’ve ever done and after 10 sessions I am seeing solid results.

This gym is by far a cut above the rest. My friend and I trialled a few in the area and there was always something that we didn’t like or that didn’t suit our needs. Then we gave F45 a go. And it is amazing. Worth every penny. We love going and doing the workouts and all the trainers are lovely, respectful and professional. We are always looking forward to each session and no session is ever the same. Highly recommend this gym and this type of training.

F45 is not a typical gym, with every class running as a full on PT session you will see fast results by just going 3 times a week. It is also great that the sessions are only 45 minutes so you don’t lose much time out of your busy schedule to work out. The instructors are very friendly and know when to try to push you to the next level by suggesting new challenges or when to let you opt for an easier exercise when you are exhausted.

I’ve been wanting to get active for a while but have struggled to find the time to develop a training program that keeps me interested and overcoming my ignorance r.e. gym equipment and technique. F45 is perfect to overcome this. The sessions change up daily which keeps me interested and motivated to keep coming back for more, the trainers are all super helpful and will help you out with the equipment and technique, and the environment is great. I’d definitely recommend giving it a go to anyone who is curious!
