      We have been at this Medical Centre since it opened. Our GP is fabulous, always goes above and beyond for us. He is patient focused, listens intently in consults and we consider ourselves so very lucky to have such a great GP! The nurses are great too – reassuring and supportive.       Really happy with my Dr at IFMC. Always feel listened to and understood. I never mind waiting. A good Dr is worth waiting for. Reception is efficient and professional. My only concern is the fees but that’s an issue with Medicare.

      Good Dr’s rooms, clean and comfortable. Plenty of Dr’s on hand, as well as Pathology, Imaging, and Chemist facilities. If there’s any complaints I have with Illawarra Family Medical Centre is the charger’s they charge and if you ring for an appointment, how long your left on hold. I would prefer the staff at the front desk just not answer the phone when they’re busy. Then you know to call back. Other than that great Dr’s surgery!

      When my longtime GP Dr Jim Turner retired several years ago and retired, he recommended Dr Marc Wilkinson at Ochre Medical Centre in Crown Street, Wollongong. How fortunate for me and my wife to have such a wonderful caring GP, during my recent spell with serious illnesses he did his utmost to liaise with the specialists. Thanks to Dr Wilkinson I’m still here, and hope to be for a lot longer.

      Terrible experience at this pharmacy. The staff is rude, arrogant and unprofessional. I requested for a refund immediately after a purchase as I realized I have been charged almost twice of the price compared to other pharmacies. The staff refused my request, and said “I can definitely make my own refund rules here.” If a staff can make his own rules, then what’s the point of having “Pharmacy Board of Australia”. I am fine with not having a refund, but totally not fine with the staff’s language and attitude. For anyone who has an intention to visit this pharmacy, please check their “rules” and compare the price before you go! To the owner: Just for the record, I did not threaten your staff with a bad review, instead, I notified him that he would receive a bad review for his attitude right before I left the shop. Your staff is not only arrogant, but also tells lies. As a customer, I deserve a reason of not getting a refund, that’s my right! Your staff is not professional enough to provide me such a reason. He didn’t even know which regulator/laws he should follow. That’s why he said he makes his own rules. Ridiculous!

      Took my donations to this store, and there was a large container at the back where one can put them. I was being watched all the time, like security personnel do, and one item l dropped in the bin was declared dirty and l was told to remove it. It wasn’t dirty, it was a case that they had no awareness of the product. I now wish l had picked up all the things l had donated. I have never returned to that store and since then have taken my donations elsewhere. I don’t expect to be treated badly for giving donations. I often go to the trouble of cleaning what l donate so that it is pleasant for the volunteers to deal with!

      I’m going to have to agree with the other not so good reviews. I went there years ago when needed but recently they’ve got new not so friendly staff volunteers. In fact rude. Get with the program – stop scaring away potential customers plus even people who like to donate quality items

      My mother took our donations into the store. A extremely rude woman ran and chased after her saying she couldn’t leave her donations and was shamed and said she couldn’t leave them here. One was a Guess suitcase which was in great working condition and was told “no one would want that”. My mum showed her all of the brand new clothes we had donated and asked if they wanted them or not. When you try to do something good for charity and are shamed and belittled for no reason! What a hassle!

      I’ve been buying books and dvds there for years and I asked the staff why there are not many books. She said there they are all funneled into the Life Line Book Fair. That was fair enough as there are still some. I don’t have problems with that however the female staff member, apparently a boss there had an issue with a friend and I going out back into the working here as we were invited by a male staff member who said it was okay he gave us permission to browse the stock of dvds there. But here comes this woman boss who had a problem with us and said that she didn’t want us messing up the dvd stacks. Great. I guess that is more important than making money and keeping customers happy and coming back hey? Unusual approach. Have a bad day and take out on those that keep them in business. I also know that someone who used to work there say Lifeline Shop Wollongong for a business who is supposed to be friendly isn’t, and this rude woman just tried to assert her authority because she was having a bad day. Another time another female staff member tried to boss me around too. I won’t be going back there. Cheaps dvds and books aren’t worth being treated badly. This woman doesn’t care about keeping customers happy but controlled.

      I rang before coming into to Wollongong to see if they had the currency I needed. I specifically asked if it was available today or if I needed to place an order. I was assured by staff they had it on premises. I made my way into Wollongong especially to buy the currency. When I arrived I was told ‘we don’t have any, we sold it all. We won’t have any until Friday’, today is Tuesday. Just wanted to provide some constructive feedback, if someone calls asking for a specific currency, take an offical order from them, don’t just say yes we have it, saving them an unnecessary trip when you sell it to someone else.
