4 months agoHihuaua is an absolute essential visit to your northland holiday or your local weekend out and about walk. Good location along the loop walk. Genuine and incredibly well crafted Māori arts and crafts on display, always someone busy on a project in the adjacent workshop. Knowledgeable and friendly locals to answer any questions you have. Beautiful gifts and art for your whare with a story.3 years agoA classic, beautiful building with great wines, a classy restaurant and great views across the vineyard. There’s a great story told in photos of a destructive fire followed by the earthquake only 2 years later. It was a monastery long ago and there’s a chapel now used as a wedding reception venue.2 years agoGreat spot to visit for Art and some musical instruments.
