a week agoNEVER EVER when going into a jeweller do you tell them how much you want for your piece of jewellery. LET THEM TELL YOU HOW MUCH THEY’LL GIVE!!ESPECIALLY here! And then shop around. Get prices from everywhere else.
IF THEY ASK “how much are you wanting?” JUST LEAVE.
An honest jeweller will tell you the price of gold/silver, without trying to take advantage of your lack of skill in this area.
ALWAYS ask their prices for gold/silver first. Even when they insist that they’d “prefer not to”! If they tell you this, leave! straight away! Take your business elsewhere.
They tried to take advantage of my mother and was incredibly rude to her.

I even got to know more about Christianna personally and was also greeted and served by a wonderful lady who loves bushwalking (I didn’t get her name unfortunately!). a year agoAustralia Post is an agent of Western Union. Several weeks ago we tried to send money to family overseas via Western Union from an Australia Post office. Western Union blocked the transaction and told us they are returning the money to us.Western Union are currently holding a large sum of our money that should have been returned to us over three weeks ago. However there is a “technical problem” (according to WU) and Australia Post are unable to return our money. After several calls to Western Union and several visits to Australia Post, the problem is still not resolved. When we speak to Western Union we get various responses, none of which result in the return of our money or any progress in resolving the problem. When we visit Australia Post, they say “There is nothing we can do”. The manager at the Australia Post office refuses to escalate the problem to her senior managers.
However, she suggested that we escalate the problem ourselves through the Australia Post call centre. We are currently trying to get a response from an Australia Post senior manager to help us get our money back. We have been waiting for 6 days. Whenever we phone Australia Post call centre to ask when we might hear from the senior manager, they say “Our senior managers are very busy”. The senior managers are so busy that call centre staff are unable to tell us when a senior manager will contact us.
Question why Australia Post is an agent of Western Union. Ask yourself: can either organisation can be trusted with your money?
