But hey at least they fixed the lock on the disabled toilet<\/p>\n<p>I have been a member of anytime fitness before moving to Geraldton, the clubs in Perth are fine. However the Geraldton franchise is sub par at best.<\/p>\n<p>I was hoping with the opening of the new gym at the start of this year I would have my opinion changed.<\/p>\n<p>However the new gym has a fresh look with the same old issues.<\/p>\n<p>Old equipment which is either faulty or completely out of order.\n-Cable machine has been broken for 6+ months\n&#8211; leg extension machine has broken handles\n&#8211; dip machine is not working\n&#8211; reduced to one adjustable bench for the whole gym\n&#8211; seated row machine wobbles on one side\n&#8211; toilet lock on the disable toilet has been broken for months with a new lock \u2018on the way\u2019\n&#8211;  water fountain has now stopped working\n&#8211; cross trainer out of order\n&#8211; padding on lots of different equipment has exposed foam<\/p>\n<p>There is probably other broken\/faulty equipment I have forgot to list.<\/p>\n<p>I have emailed anytime fitness directly more than once to address the issues and have not even received an acknowledgment of my concerns.<\/p>\n<p>I am a very patient person however it\u2019s got to the point where it is ridiculous and myself and my friends are looking to cancel membership and move to Snap fitness, I\u2019d encourage anyone looking to join to look elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p>It would be nice for the gym to look after long term members rather than ignoring issues and continually offering specials to try and attract new member. Angela, Tim, Tane are all great! Genuinely nice, Genuinely care.\nGym is a bit old but they do their best to get stuff fixed for us. E.g ceilings can leak a bit but that&#8217;s not really the gym teams fault, they got equipment reupholstered. Overall its a nice gym with great showers, toilets etc however, I have noticed in the last few visits that several machines are now broken and not usable. Not such an issue if you have more than one of each but as a small gym if a machine is broken it is noticeable. I feel a bit ripped off to be honest as I had to lock into a contract and now have equipment I can&#8217;t use. Soon they will need to place signs on the machines that actually work as faulty ones will out number those that work or safe to use.
