I had high hopes for a delightful cake to celebrate a special occasion, but unfortunately, my expectations were not met in any way.the most concerning  issue was the absence of the cut-out boy head on the cake.<\/p>\n<p>What added to my disappointment was the owner&#8217;s response when I expressed my concerns. He  claimed that the mistake was on our end for accepting the cake. This response was both unprofessional and unsympathetic to the situation. I ordered a cake from them twice, and both times there were issues with the decoration. The first time, the cake was missing beads in the decorative design, and the second time, the head of a person on the cake was poorly done. What&#8217;s even more frustrating is that when we brought this to their attention, the staff was unprofessional and blamed us for their mistakes.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s clear that the quality of their cakes and the professionalism of their service have declined in the last 2-3 years since the business was passed down to the next generation. It&#8217;s a shame to see a once-reliable cake shop go downhill like this. I won&#8217;t be ordering from Continatal Cake Shop again, and I would caution others to think twice before doing so as well.<\/p>\n<p>I will update photos with cakes in next few days.<\/p>\n<p>Update : expected vs received for 1st cake. The strings decorations accoss the face missing apart from other noticeable differences. When my brother went there for the pickup they don\u2019t know the order and they said they will deliver around 5 pm to my location. They delivered the cake  around 5:30 pm and we were waiting for the cake. They delivered but the difference design as I ordered. Really feeling very disappointed.
