Our group had a steak and kidney pie, steak pie, potato pie and pizza. All yummy and fresh. The lady at the front counter was very friendly as well. Having been several times now I still have mixed feelings. The  hot pies, pasties and sausage rolls are very tasty but the pastry is very bland and hard &#8211; not enjoyable at all ?. Today I tried a sweet Danish style apple and sultana slice which was sweet &#8211; but rock hard pastry &#8211; and was nothing like the flaky treat you would expect. There were plenty of people buying vanilla slices, donuts and eclairs. The young woman behind the counter gave me a friendly greeting and made a lovely, smooth coffee. Casa De Pan   may be your style bakery so do give it a try.
