It took us around 20-30 minutes to reach the summit, but the climb was quite challenging as it kept getting steeper as we went higher. Those with poor fitness will need to take it slow but reasonably fit persons could get to the top in under 25 minutes. Fit teenagers will do it under 15 minutes. Path starts mostly cobble-type arranged stones with stone steps further up and ending with naturally formed very uneven stones. View over Coolum Beach with views of the airport and as far south as Maroochydore. If your timing is right you may spot whales in the ocean blowing off as they head through the waters and maybe even a bandicoot!
