A very knowledgeable, articulate and friendly guide helped make the most of this experience. It was interactive, fascinating and such a worthwhile venture in Tasmania. The refuge is staffed by people who are obviously devoted to raptors and rescue. The individual stories of the raptors &amp; how they came to be here was so interesting &amp; also appalling for some of them.  The education centre was particularly informative &amp; hands on.\nOur young guide was devoted &amp; inspirational &amp; her love for the raptors was clearly obvious. Our favourite was dapper \u201cBob\u201d ?\nThe owner has a true passion for educating business, government &amp; individuals in an endeavour to save these amazing creatures. They provide a safe haven for birds of prey that would no longer survive in the wild, together with doing their best to rehabilitate as many birds as possible. I appreciate the work they are doing for wildlife.<\/p>\n<p>The operators of this refuge also advise on what the public can do to prevent harm to these amazing birds.
