Beautiful place, very informative staff. Got through the displays reasonably quickly as they weren\u2019t particularly varied. Looks like it\u2019s more of a training centre than a museum. Can read about the kanak history more in depth online. However, always good to support local industry\/tourism. The Ranzo Piano structure is unique (although it could do with a bit of renovation).\nGenerally there is a caf\u00e9 and some shops, but when we went there (Tuesday morning) they were closed.\nThe walk is not too hard, and is very accessible.\nAll in all, a great way to kill a few hours between a flight and the next, plus, we learned more about th Kanak culture.<\/p>\n<p>On a side note, there&#8217;s no shade on the walk from the airport. The gardens are lovely and well worth a walk. The cultural centre buildings are worth seeing as well. The experience is let down because a lot of the amenities are closed.
