    Big thank you to Taya at Mac. I came in with my daughter on a Sunday arvo for makeup advice for her school formal. We live on the South Coast and have limited makeup services so I opted to do my daughters makeup myself but needed some tips on colours and styles for her eyes. Taya was more than happy to help us select some colours and even showed me how to apply it. Thanks to Taya I felt confident going forward and my daughter looked beautiful.

    I hate to be the one to leave a bad review. However, I am at my wits end visiting the MAC counter in Canberra. I have visited this counter on numerous occasions and every single time this particular staff member is on, I have been completely ignored or made to feel like an inconvenience. Today was no exception. I visited the counter and was the only customer present. The staff member, who I assume to be the manager, didn’t even bother greeting me and continued to sit behind the register. 5 mins or so had past and when they finally acknowledged my existence, they seemed almost annoyed by the fact I was in-store. MAC use to set the standard with makeup and service. But I am not surprised by the lack of customer service, that customers opt shop at Mecca or online instead.
