  Today I used the Auto wash at Smicks Car Wash, Delacombe , costing $16.30, the machine pulled my antenna off my car, which was then stuck in the machine, (photos for reference) and in which it was then unable to be placed back on, I called the phone number on the side of the car wash and spoke to the owner who then told me to ask the attendant onsite, which resulted in the attendant to my disbelief stating this isn’t a fault of theirs and I am liable for the damages, so I requested a refund to which I was offered a free wash, my wash was unable to be completed due to the antenna being stuck in the machine, I did not accept this and as I am already at cost of the repairs and damages including the cost of the wash not complete, I would not consider this to be a free wash or a good outcome to a bad situation. I would like to thank Smicks Car wash personally for poor customer service, no apologies and for not providing a safe car wash.

  (EDIT: thanks for the quick reply, no unfortunately I was there about 7:40pm and didn’t know how to reach anyone. I will make contact tomorrow during business hours cos I appreciate you looking into this, good professionalism)

  I usually go here even though it’s the opposite side of town for me. Today I washed the car and spend 4 minutes on the high pressure rinse (tried both buttons) and the water was soapy the whole time. I don’t know if it was just my bay but I couldn’t drive home soapy so was forced to put it though the automatic wash (additional $16 just to get a rinse) automatic did a good job, but I shouldn’t have needed to. This is also the first and only time I’ve had a bad experience

  Drove 1.5 Hrs from melb to complete a site measure in winter valley. Car was filthy and dropped into Schmick Carwash.. compared to places in the burbs this car wash was hands down better than I’ve used recently. $8 for 12 minutes all system accessories work amazing. Spoke to Mick the manager who advised used plant based products! Place was very clean. Well done !

  First time using Schmick car wash went for their $18 dollar wash expected around wheel hubs to come up a bit cleaner and thought car would come out dry. But it saved me time as l usually do it myself.
