      I asked for a mid fade with an inch off the top. I get a short back and sides, no fade and two inches off the top. I would’ve said no if they asked me if I liked my haircut. I have been here before and there were no problems previously, which is why it is not a one.

      I’m so thankful to have called this salon when I did. I don’t know anything about hair and styling or maintenance (it’s not my thing) but on my wedding day I wanted to look nice. I saw Paige, who was so helpful and informative. She was able to give me guidance on what would look good with my hair and why, and she made me feel really comfortable and valued. For me it was a little intimidating to have to get all done up, not knowing how to make my hair look the best it could be. So when I told Paige that I didn’t know what things to ask for, she took the time to give me some suggestions to select from and made the whole process less scary. Thanks Paige!

      I took both of my boys to Barber Kings lakeside on Saturday and I was really impressed!!! Both of my boys have curly hair and the barber actually knew how to cut their hair properly, which I have never experienced before. The shop had a great feel about it & was really on a whole other level to any barber shop I’ve seen. Every little detail had been well thought out & executed!! Very clean & organised..great waiting system!! Beverages & activities for the kids in the waiting area. Music was nice and appropriate to have kids listening to. The barber was honest, professional with great communication skills and the whole experience was exceptional!! He really took the time to explain how he’d cut their hair. Such a relief to find a great barber!! The boys finally have decent haircuts!! We will definitely be back!!

      This barber shop was amazing! They had a very nice staff and professional. They offered a amazing haircut and had barbers that knew what they were doing. Offered nice decor and free beverages and coffee! Wait times were not that long with 3 active barbers. The only downside was that the haircuts were a bit pricy with a men’s fade being ~$47 but other than that it was a very good experience. Would come again.

      I’m in my 30’s and can honestly say I haven’t received this much attention to detail when getting a haircut before.

      They makes all the previous barbers I have been to look like chop shops.

      It is a little more expensive than the others around, but not by much and the difference in quality is noticeable. I will definitely be back and will be getting my kids hair cut here as well from now on. Thanks guys.

      I’m back here to give 1 star. Yesterday, I went back to the shop for the second time. The first time was good, I liked the haircut though I had to wait a long time even though I had a booing. But yesterday was terrible. When I got there one of the barbers asked me to sit and said it wouldn’t take long and immediately after that called me to tell me there was a double booking and they were not going to be able to give me a haircut. That was quite upsetting, you can’t just tell a client to go away, in a case like that, you need to find a way to provide them with the service. They lost me as a client.

      After trying several barbers in Dandenong, Hair impact is now my go-to stop. Medi is my current barber and he has never failed to impress me with his skills. His scissor work is phenomenal and his fade game is on point as well. Beards have been my biggest pain point with previous barbers, but here I know 100% what i’m getting every single time. Consistency is the key and Medi delivers. For beard work they also use the old school blade and hot towel (afterwards) which is a welcome throwback.

      10/10 would recommend, if you don’t like a long wait I would suggest making an online booking as these boys are always pretty busy.

      I have been attending here for a year now. So fortunate to have found this place. All the barbers are so friendly and do awesome work in all that they do. Kev is the best barber I have had in 30 years. I highly recommend Hair Impact. I would never go anywhere else! Thanks guys. Keep up the great work!!

      I went to the store for the second time today. The first time, month or two ago, seemed overly popular. likely time of day a dozen people on half a dozen sofas. Seemed like a nice place and the haircuts across the room looked good. Impressed, I knew I was at a legitimately good barber shop. But I didn’t have a heap of time, so I left. Made a booking and returned today, much quieter. I was served by Torres, friendly person, who knew what they were doing. I usually do my own hair, when asked, the best compliment they could muster ” I’ve seen a lot coming out of lock down, so, for an amateur, it’s acceptable” which was more than kind. Showed me a new style to suit my head type, which my friends, family and I loved. So, I’ll be returning for sure

      Very skilled barbers, however, lack basic customer service unless you’re friends/family. Particularly, these guys are not familiar with the concept of queue. Long wait times like 1 hour+ if you’re not an afghani.

      My experience at this place was highly disappointing. Despite being in the queue, I had to wait for over 45 minutes, only to witness the staff prioritize their known acquaintances over me. This unfair treatment left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. It was an overall negative experience that I cannot recommend to others.

      What was even more shocking was the way the barber spoke about other customers and colleagues. He openly complained about his fellow barbers, using offensive language and making inappropriate jokes. This unprofessional behaviour created a toxic and hostile environment, leaving me and the other customers feeling uneasy.
