Extremely fun day out with the kids. Next time I will be booking a table for the group because the space can be limited when trying to eat. Other than that, my son had fun and loved the frozen drinks. This place definitely builds up confidence.

Went here for a birthday and my little one (15 months) had an absolute blast! There was a crash pad area for littles that she loved. We will definitely be coming back with one exception: the Tiny Tots area (5 and under) needs to be managed and supervised better by the staff. There were multiple children who were definitely over the age of 5 crashing through the jumping castles, being rough with the young children and all over dangerous. Staff members never once said anything, despite heaps of signs stating the area was 5 and under.

Australian cuisine is the food and cooking practices of Australia and its inhabitants. Australia has absorbed culinary contributions and adaptations from various cultures around the world, including British, European, Asian and Middle Eastern.
Indigenous Australians have occupied Australia for some 65,000 years, during which they developed a unique hunter-gatherer diet, known as bush tucker, drawn from regional Australian plants and animals. Australia became a collection of British colonies from 1788 to 1900, during which time culinary tastes were strongly influenced by British and Irish migrants, with agricultural products such as beef cattle, sheep and wheat becoming staples in the local diet. The Australian gold rushes introduced more varied immigrants and cuisines, mainly Chinese, whilst post-war immigration programs led to a large-scale diversification of local food, mainly due to the influence of migrants from the Mediterranean, East Asia and South Asia.Australian cuisine in the 21st century reflects the influence of globalisation, with many fast-food restaurants and international trends becoming influential. Organic and biodynamic foods have also become widely available alongside a revival of interest in bush tucker. Australia exports many agricultural products, including cattle, sheep, poultry, milk, vegetables, fruit, nuts, wheat, barley and canola. Australia also produces wine, beer and soft drinks.
While fast food chains are abundant, Australia's metropolitan areas have restaurants that offer both local and international foods. Restaurants which include contemporary adaptations, interpretations or fusions of exotic influences are frequently termed Modern Australian.

A very cool burger joint in the heart of Cairns. Great decor inside with dining booths and wooden tables, bright and airy inside with nice music, a very welcoming atmosphere. They serve a classic beef burger and also excellent thickshakes. Delicious.

A great little place with booths as well as bar tables both inside and out to enjoy generous serves of tasty eats that are presented in record time with a tropical FNQ smile. Decore is reminiscent of a bygone era and creates a great ambience. Tables are cleared and cleaned the moment a table becomes vacant and staff are prompt, courteous, and a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely recommend it.

Ordered “Boss Burger” for $22. Claims to have crispy bacon and onion rings. Pretty disappointing. The burger had two small onion rings and the bacon was far from crispy. Basically a small bacon cheeseburger. Good atmosphere, and the beer was cold.

Trinity beach is beautiful. We were here for a little holiday and we didn’t want to leave, even though it rained most days.

The beach has trees along the shoreline, great if you want to escape the sun.

You can only swim within the enclosure which is quite bit and has enough room for everyone. The reason for this is the chance of crocodile and jelly fish in the water.

This is a small beach town, it only had 5 restaurants, a small supermarket and a couple of shops, so make sure you come prepared having done your food shopping, toiletries and medicine.

There’s a small shopping complex within Trinity Beach, if you are walking it’s about 25 min and by car, maybe only 5-10 min, but there you will find a bigger supermarket and an amazing bakery, a GP and a pharmacy.

All in all, trinity beach is amazing if you are looking for a peaceful holiday. Most restaurants close around 9-10pm and then it’s dead quiet.

One of my favourite beaches in Cairns. It has lots of shaded grass areas to relax out of the sun. There are life guards and it has a stinger net. BBQ and seating areas. There are some nice restaurants to eat along the esplanade as well. There is a playground at the north end for the kids.

I had a chicken, cheese and white sauce pie – lots of big chunks of chicken and plenty of filling, and the pastry is crunchy. Also tried a choux pastry, chocolate slice and miso vanilla cake. All where fabulous. While they are not the cheapest in town, they are worth every cent! We were surprised to be the only ones eating in. Staff are friendly and polite. We will be back!

Always offered new products and great options. Chocolate and matcha cheese cakes are gorgeous! My favourite corn and cream pastry plus the new almond pastry were so delicious. The best bakery in Cairns!

Great little bakery with eat in tables. We tried the cupcakes (salted caramel and strawberry red velvet) which were divine. Service also very friendly.

Popped over from library to ask to use the restroom as the library toilets were out of order. Staff member on duty at midday March 30 was blunt and unhelpful, refused access, offered no explanation or suggestions for anywhere else to go. Understand it’s not their job to cater for members of the public but no reason to have a poor attitude about it

The seniors program for 55 plus is very good and reasonably priced at $50-00 per month. The 50 minutes classes include circuit, strength, yoga and spin and run from Monday to Friday starting at 10:15 with qualified teachers giving instructions. It’s a pity no advertising is done for this program on their website.

Have bought fish here many times and had no problems. We ordered a $250 hamper for Christmas and went to pick it up, but they couldn’t find the order. An alternative hamper was found. All was good except for the crayfish which was mush and inedible. Hope this feedback helps as normally all your seafood is of good quality.

Number 1 fresh seafood in cairns!!! Very kind service. More than 5 star ?

I bought sashimi squid(very famous in Korea) from Preston Fresh today. I’ve never had frozen squid as sashimi before, but it was very fresh and very tasty. The mussels I have had before so I know they are always good, and the flounder I am looking forward to pan seared tomorrow, very exciting!!

I would highly recommend Preston Fresh once again for the best kind & happy staff and always available freshest seafood in cairns .

We bought Cray, bugs, prawns, crab.scollops & sqid everything was fantastic including the price. I was not impressed with the crab first time I have had it but didn’t seem to have much meet but I think this is the norm. Highly recommend Preston’s Seafood ?????????

A truly superb seafood market. With everything you could dream off. From Spanish anchovies through to live mud crabs. They even have prepared fresh meals. This is one of the best seafood markets I’ve ever been to. Let alone for cairns. It’s out of the way but worth the trip and they have containers to buy and ice so you can keep everything. In top condition on what is always a hot day. Tip they also smoke a lot of fish which is nice and different.
