      Excellent customers service I must said! The staffs was very attentive. Choco lava cake is little bit of a wait, because is cook when ordered but definitely worth it. Ice cream was standard. But the desserts are super! Brookie is the one with black pot. Half cookie and half brownies is awesome combination. It gives you a different sensations with the cold and hot combination. Would definitely go back to try out drinks and other items.

      I’m visiting Launceston from Brisbane, and let me tell ya – when I left, I felt a deep sadness knowing Charlie’s Dessert House wouldn’t be coming home with me.

      Delicious treats and equally sweet staff, and I was delighted to find a surprisingly wholesome vibe from the other patrons enjoying their desserts late in the evening.

      We loved this restaurant so much we visited 2 nights in a row. The first night we sat on the back patio while it rained lightly. The hot chocolate and the cool breeze went well together. The second night, we arrived at a moment where many people were paying for their bill, so we had to wait a bit for the cashier and host to be available to seat us. The bartenders, ever so proactive and aware, offered us drinks on the house for the inconvenience. I was delightfully surprised. The wonderful service followed by the delicious food was a memorable night for us in Launceston.

      The staff were pretty kind and took us straight to our table. I ordered a steak which was pretty good and then got a delicious ice cream. This place was very kid friendly and I think you would enjoy it!

      Staff tried their best to find seats for us on waiting list, patiently answering the phone reservation request and explaining situation kindly to us. Service at restaurant were attentive and friendly and gave good recommendations.

      Festive Martini – so Cute and yummy. Another table of leaving customers even casually chatted with us about how enticingly it was served as they checking out.

      Seafood feast, crayfish, steak – all hit the spot, including the sides like spiced potatoes, roasted potatoes and fries that came with the dishes.

      The atmosphere was pleasant and cozy. The food was tasty and satisfying. However, the service fell short of expectations. It was a bit strange when a trainee placed plates on top of our menus. Also, despite the booking indicating 5 people, the table was too small, making the dining experience a bit cramped. While I understand space constraints, it was slightly disappointing. Nevertheless, overall experience was enjoyable.

      This was an amazing dining experience for our Sunday evening. We had just arrived into Launceston and luckily Rupert & Hound is open later on Sundays for an 830PM booking.

      The service and food was exceptional, Adam had great knowledge of the food list and their specials.

      Oysters Natural Entree Squid Atlantic Salmon Twice Cooked Pork Belly Eton Mess Tiramisu

      All were delicious, fresh and extremely well cooked

      Plus the Mango Mojito and the Christmas Punch were a nice festive touch.

Usually we are waiting around in other places and have to go up because they aren’t as attentive. This restaurant though!! Love it. All the staff were very professional and kind.       Great location looking on to the River, very friendly service and the food is of a good standard. Had a few starters, Garlic Cheesy bread, Scallops and the R&H Squid which was the best of the three, perfectly cooked. Had the Scotch Fillet for main, was cooked just how I like it and seemed like a good quality cut of meat. Also enjoyed a cocktail and liked that they do have smaller bottles of wine available.

      Ava is amazing, she takes great pride in her work and after my visit today, I left feeling glamorous with my hair, the blonde is a gorgeous and Ava giving me the choice of finishing my hair straighten or curled just made my service absolutely perfect. Thank you Ava and team for making me me feel fresh and glamorous with my new hair.

      A very good Indian restaurant at Launceston. Definitely a must visit place.

      The staff are very friendly and always eager to provide the best possible customer service.

      Coming to food, except for Dal Makhni, we loved everything. The lentils were a bit uncooked in the Dal Makhni, otherwise taste wise it was yum. All other food options were tasty and portions adequate.

      If you happen to be in or around Launceston, do add this place as one of your must visit locations.

      Truly a gem! We love our Indian crusine and Spice Lounge did not disappoint.

      We asked for Asian spice level and lets just say it was a little more than a kick, more than what we expected and hands down one of the best indian I had in years.

      Absolutely enjoyed the Hangover Chicken and Goat Curry. All the food was served hot and the view is stunning. Staff was extremely patience and intentive. We will be back.
