The staff member was rude, wasn’t helpful, didn’t listen to requests and lied outrightly about the freshness of a food item. Attempted to get a refund on a crispy cream donut after taking one bite and realising that it was very stale, was refused due to the bite having been taken out of it.

And the guy was furious at me as I did something wrong
I just asked for the price of milk as there was not price tag in the fridge.
I think he was the manager/owner he acted like he owned the hurlston park area.
I never saw this kind of service anywhere. He was really rude to me. I think he has no idea what is he doing there? I think he should learn how to talk and how the customers should be treated. I don’t know how he got the job in the first place with all this behaviour.

Usually there’s a guy there who tries to upsell chocolates about to go off, he’s persistent but just annoying. Today a guy just scanned a chocolate bar without asking, didn’t apologise or acknowledge me when I asked him to take it off the total. Pretty scummy way to make a few extra $$, usually come here just cos it’s convenient but it’s turned me off

I had a very important conference for 3 days and went to another salon for a blow-dry, to make my hair nice. but they didn’t do it well. I was stressed and nearly cried because I wasn’t familiar with the area and had no time to go somewhere else. I walked in and asked a gentleman for help. He was incredibly kind, reassuring me to stay calm. After just 5 minutes, he started blow-drying my hair and did an excellent job. He’s the best hairdresser I’ve ever see in my life. First he sectioned my hair and then start to dray and brush my hair.He provided a very personalized service, and in the end, he refused to accept payment, mentioning he has a salon for men and doesn’t offer services for ladies. I don’t know how to thank him. He saved my job and made my day.
My hair was blow-dried so well that it stayed in good shape throughout the three days of the conference. I just needed to brush it in the morning, and it was ready to go.
I hope one day he opens a branch for ladies. Highly recommended. He is the best.

I’ve been to most barbers in the area and nothing even comes close to these guys. They make you feel like a friend as soon as you walk in, they remember you and even who cut you hair the last time you were in. They take absolute care and execute haircuts with precision. If you have a special occasion or just want to look your best, Tapered is the place to go. Professional and friendly local barber
Just had a haircut by Baz and was really happy with the results. I mentioned I had some troubles with cuts in the past so he tailored my cut on my work life and previous issues I’ve had with my hair.
The cut was quick and efficient and chatting to Baz was a friendly casual conversation.
I’ve had many cuts from different barbers but this one definitely hits different, would recommend to family and friends in the future.

I came to the salon after deciding to cut my hair short, although my hair was very long and I was quite stressed about the cut.
I was welcomed into the salon with a smile, throughout the cut I was explained to about what was going to happen with my hair and the options I had, which made me feel a lot better about the whole experience. After the chop I asked about how I could style it and I was shown multiple ways which made me feel very comfortable about the whole situation.

I had a great first visit here. Rhiannon and Saje were very welcoming and genuine. The salon was clean and quiet, great for relaxing. I have curly hair which can be difficult to cut right but Rhiannon was wonderful. She clarified exactly what I wanted and executed it amazingly! She also gave some great advice about caring for hair and products that would work for me, without the pressure of a hard sell. I will definitely be back, thank you!

My dissatisfaction extends beyond the color didn’t align with the vision I hoped. The handling of my hair was quite rough, leading to a level of discomfort that bordered on pain. The forceful manipulation of my hair made the styling session a distressing experience.
Moreover, the water temperature control during the hair wash was a significant problem. I found the water to be either scalding hot, posing a risk of burns, or extremely cold, making it incredibly uncomfortable to complete the hair wash properly.
The place is lovely I just hope the business owner will pay attention to those matters.
