      Flower and Stone Bakery is absolutely amazing! Their cakes are divine and will satisfy any sweet tooth. While it would be great if they offered alternatives to pork gelatin for their other desserts, their overall selection is still impressive. Jackie provided excellent service and made our day off to a fantastic start! ??

      My favourite was Mango & Coconut Bundt. I wish they made it in a cake, would love to get it for my birthday.

      I’ve been eager to visit Flour and Stone for a while, and during my unplanned visit to Darlinghurst, I couldn’t resist walking past it. The bakery has two adjacent locations – The Pantry for sit-down and The Annex for takeout. Opting for the latter, I enjoyed a delightful plain croissant and apple tart, accompanied by refreshing iced coffees. Despite the challenge of choosing from their extensive menu on a full stomach, I sticked to my pastry plan, trying the simple yet elegant plain croissant. It turned out to be a flaky, golden delight – light, buttery, and perfection. The apple tart was equally delightful. I look forward to returning to explore more tempting options. They also have other cakes and patisserie and pastries. Coffee was also great. I really enjoyed it.

      Best lamington in town!! I love that it wasn’t too sweet, and the cake was really moist inside, albeit it served cold. Pastries were good and flaky. Toast was well-toasted and it came with a scrumptious raspberry (or cranberry?) home-made jam.

      Staffs were so friendly and helpful, especially when you try to decide what to order lol. Everything was delicious. Coffee was good too.

      Location is really convenient because it’s literally in front of the bus stop.

      We got here a bit later in the day so there was not a big selection left. We got a slice of the family chocolate cake and the panna cotta lammington. Both were amazing! They have two locations, a small sit down one with fewer items and just two or so stores over a bigger selection one that is take out only.

      We had wanted to try Flour and Stone for a while and were finally here on Saturday morning. We were like kids going to a candy store and wanted to get all the pastries and cakes that were on the display 🙂

      It was a really hard decision, but we settled on: i) Panna Cotta Lamington – 5 * (absolutely delicious) ii) Pistachio and Orange Kouign Amann – 5 * (the combination of pistachio and orange enhanced the flavour and texture of Kouign Amann so well, this is the best Kouign Amann I ever had). iii) Spanakopita iv) Almond Croissant – 5 * (buttery, flakey and just the right sweetness, love it)

      It was a beautiful sunny day with a blue sky so we decided to take a short stroll to Woolloomooloo Wharf and had some of these pastries there outside of the Finger Wharf

      Delicious pastries over a nice water view over Finger Wharf = an awesome day!

      We will be back to try more delicious pastries!

      Friendly and efficient customer service by the staff. Picked up a parcel and entire process was less than a couple of minutes. Same with return parcels, in and out in a couple of minutes and email confirmation of return being accepted within the hour.       I regularly get stock imported for overseas suppliers, and I’m in the events industry, so we are always to the wire for events. I am constantly chasing deliveries to ensure the deadline gets met. When I call the help desk, they are helpful and solution-oriented. Yes, you get the occasional unhelpful personnel, which I had someone yesterday which shouldn’t be in customer service assist me. But 9/10 times, you get someone who calls drivers, emails depots and reports back as soon as they have info! Excellent service, guys. Keep up the good work 🙂

      I imported into Adelaide for the first time ever for an event. I had been given the run around multiple times only for my goods to be held in customs. I was told to wait 3 days. I did. Then I called and called and called again and finally, someone told me it was with border patrol and there was nothing they could do and it could take up to 3 weeks. Firstly, I lost very precious time that I could have used to find a better solution. Second I don’t not believe they even tried to assist. The computer said no and that’s it. Tried to call border patrol myself, but they will only go through a carrier! Also, one of the 5 parcels got through clearance and they can’t locate it. What a joke!

      I should have given DHL a minus star if I could! DHL never delivers any packages or parcels due to incomplete ID while any other companies do without needing any ID. It [DHL] always asks customers to provide it with a copy of passport or diver’s license when no others do.       The Front Desk at YMCA, Penrith have to be trained to speak to customers appropriately,. * also they have a age limit at the Play area mentioned as 2 to 6yrs and there were 12 or 13 yr old boys being playing and rough, as our 5yr old daughter got scared to step into the play area.

      When informed this to the front staff, they were very rude and ignorant.

      This is a very poor quality behaviour on their behalf.

      They need to improve their behaviour.

      YMCA is great for the family. My daughter does gymnastics there. Most of the casual classes suffer thanks to the more advanced classes get to use most of the equipment before any others. Seating needs to be improved as watching your child can be very hard as the vision is blocked by equipment. Great for parties. Rock climbing and a gym there makes it a little better.

      Facilities are somewhat sparse, but adequate for the intended purpose of being a rest stop. A safe place to pull off from the road, with both covered and uncovered benches and tables. Toilet facilities are, well, utilitarian, and are of the composting, long-drop type. It’s best not to look too closely into the inner workings. My visit was on a cool winter’s morning, so the smell was not too noticeable. Adequate supplies of toilet paper are provided. A wash basin with clean water is located nearby, but soap is BYO.

      Just arrived at the rest stop to use the toilets, I was unable to use as I approached the toilet I nearly vomited as the stench was horrific. Also there are is no lightning which I find extremely dangerous and the lightning has not been working for several months as we frequently stop here every two weeks

      Has emergency phone. It’s also shady, has toilets that have railings, picnic shelters. On school holidays has coffee van, farm next door has cows roaming around. Note has water for cooking not drinking.

      No sense of customer service And the guy was furious at me as I did something wrong I just asked for the price of milk as there was not price tag in the fridge. I think he was the manager/owner he acted like he owned the hurlston park area. I never saw this kind of service anywhere. He was really rude to me. I think he has no idea what is he doing there? I think he should learn how to talk and how the customers should be treated. I don’t know how he got the job in the first place with all this behaviour.

Today a guy just scanned a chocolate bar without asking, didn’t apologise or acknowledge me when I asked him to take it off the total.       I went to this salon for the second time in December with the hope that it would be the same as the first time, as the keratin treatment lasted about 6 months. This time it didn’t even last three weeks. The hair became completely curly again after two and a half weeks, with a lot of frizz and volume, in addition to the scalp having been burned and constantly having hair as shown in the photographs. I called the number listed here twice and the person responsible always had the same answer: I’ll see what the manager says and then get back to you. A fact that has not yet happened to this day. I leave here proof photos and show here my displeasure with the way they treat an unhappy customer. Not recommended at all!

      This is by far the bizarre and worst salon experience!! Had a 12pm appointment at the Castleragh St – turned up on time and the salon door is locked and no one is inside. Looked through the letterbox and the lights were off. Called Headspa and after a lot of to-ing fro-ing….she said the technician is on their way coming from Bondi?!! Technician turns up 40mins late, opens salon and starts turning on the lights!! The operator, Michelle added that the technician doesn’t speak English (turns out only Portuguese) so she spent the entire time doing google translating things to me….like do you want water? She wasn’t able to explain the keratin process or tell me about the aftercare required…like should I buy special shampoo/conditioner? OMG I thought I was getting pranked! I don’t know where they got the technician from or how they can be in the service industry?!! Also, I was the only customer there. There was no music or ambience-so I am sitting there with keratin in my wet hair for 50mins and awkward silence. Phone reception was awful too so made it very hard to pass time. Can safely say ….WORST experience ever!!

      I recently had a keratin treatment, and I’d like to say I’m happy with the result. I’ve had a few keratin treatments from other hairdresser’s and they have either over toned my blonde highlights or left my hair brittle and damaged. The product they used was excellent for my hair, highly recommend and I will be rebooking in the future.

      I’m very happy with my keratin treatment, my hair looks great, healthy and shinny! Mariana was excellent! She’s experienced and was very dedicated while applying the product in my hair. She used the right technique to apply the product, very patient aiming the best results, and such a lovely person! I’ll definitely come back!

      Phenomenal value for money when you consider the cost and efficacy of keratin treatments. The space is clean, all charges are discussed up front and most importantly the treatment works. Don’t expect the bells and whistles of a 5 Star salon when you’re getting a good solution at a discounted rate. Will book again!
