5 months agoVery poorly presented store. Rubbish from what would have been days old as I was there Easter Monday morning around 9:30-10:00am. There was what looked like brown food stuff smudged on the floor. Shelves were full of used cosmetic/personal cleaning items as well as broken stock. This would have taken a few staff members to rectify before the store even opened but I would have settled for any staff taking any interest and pride in their job to be walking around and cleaning throughout the day. This store is filthy and no one seems to care.11 months agoLove the store as always but somehow big difference in the store especially cleanliness between different suburbs. This store is Parramatta almost always looks like it’s been raided for some reason. Things overflowing from the shelves, strewn around.. Just like like mess. When opened at home, stand was damaged. As I stay right opposite the mall, went straightaway to exchange. The staff on 3rd floor entrance said we are closed while I could see customers in the store. I informed her that I had to walk all the way to exchange the broken item Kmart keeps on this shelf. 2 other staff walk after finishing their shift and tell me a lie there is no one to exchange the item when I can see heaps of staff at customer service. The staff at entrance was trying however backed out when the other 2 were not interested at all to help me return the damaged item. Staff were very inconsiderate. Absolute poor customer service.

They have some good sales from time to time.in the last weekK mart broadway is a great place to shop especially during the clearance sale. Clothes, shoes, bags, beauty products and home appliances and decor items are available.5 months agoYesterday evening at 6-7 pm, I had a wonderful experience at Broadway Kmart. While I was with my 4-year-old son, I asked the young woman folding clothes in the children’s apparel aisle to help me find a tablecloth. She led the way with wonderful customer service. If my memory serves me well, She had olive skin, blondish brown hair, some makeup and false eyelashes. I was very pleased with the helpful and kind service she offered. I’m very thankful to have had such an enjoyable experience. ?2 months agoExtremely Disappointed with Broadway Kmart’s Incompetence and Rude Customer ServiceI recently had an absolutely terrible experience with Kmart and I am beyond furious. I placed a click and collect order with them, only to have it abruptly canceled because they claimed there was no stock available. To make matters worse, their online system still displayed low stock for the item I wanted. So, I decided to call the store to confirm the availability.
Upon speaking to a lady, she checked the code and informed me that there were only a few items left, and told me that it might not be worth my time coming to the store if they had none. However, I asked her to physically check the stock, and what did she do? She had the audacity to ask me to call back in five minutes and then hung up on me! Talk about rude and unprofessional behavior.
Feeling frustrated, I patiently waited and called back, only to be greeted by another lady who I suspect was the same person I spoke to earlier. Trying to confirm, I innocently mentioned that I was asking about the same t-shirt I had called about before. Instead of providing assistance, she responded in a condescending tone, exclaiming, “No, it’s obviously not the same person.” How disrespectful can they be?
Despite her dismissive attitude, I reiterate my request to check the stock availability. To my astonishment, she once again claimed that they definitely didn’t have the item in stock, without even bothering to physically verify. This contradicted what the previous lady had mentioned, who had given me a glimmer of hope. I implored her to physically check, but she outright refused, stating that they hadn’t sold any in a month.
Driven to my limits by their horrendous customer service, I reluctantly ended the call. However, later in the evening, I decided to visit the store myself. And guess what? Within a mere 10 minutes of browsing, I stumbled upon not one, but several of the exact product I was looking for. How can they be so utterly incompetent, dishonest and lazy?
I am utterly disgusted by Kmart’s sheer lack of professionalism, their rude and unhelpful customer service, and their blatant inconsistency regarding stock availability. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied and I will think twice before ever considering shopping at Kmart again. If they can’t even get the basics right, it’s clear that they do not value their customers or their business reputation.
Consider this review a warning to all potential shoppers: beware of Kmart’s incompetence and disrespectful treatment. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by taking your business elsewhere. Kmart Broadway has truly lost a loyal customer in me.
3 months agoHi Kmart, could you please explain why the deliberate mismanagement of your store design (central checkouts, understaffed, long lines, poor store layout) should result in customers having to line up when leaving the store to have their receipt scanned?This indicates a severe lack of foresight in your store security planning, that you are then placing the time cost of on to your customers – not to mention after lining up to pay at a self service checkout, dutifully scanning and bagging our items ourselves we are being treated like criminals as we go to leave when we have done everything correctly…Doesn’t exactly budget customer goodwill, does it?
Question: If someone had to leave the store quickly for an emergency, what would be the consequences be to them of not having their receipt scanned?
