      costumer service is horrible I was trying to buy a blanket that was on clearance and it turned out it wasn’t and they didn’t want to give me the clearance price when I clearly told them there was another one with the same price the manager was so rude while I was trying to explain to her my problem she pointed her fingers at me and told me to stop talking unbelievable. I recommend the tj Maxx at river oaks way better!

      Tawanda the cashier was very unpleasant and unprofessional. If you’re going to hire people that are going to face customer make sure they are nice and friendly. I gave her my discount card and she threw it back at me and asked me whose card it was. I asked to speak to her manager and her manager instead of coming to talk to me and deescalate the situation just told her to process the transaction didn’t even come to apologize for her rudeness nor tried to make things better. After the transaction was done I told the manager to hire more friendly people both should be taught how to be in customer service or work somewhere ese where they don’t have to face clients.

      We came here for sunglasses and left several hours later with new bags and stuff (no sunglasses) for Mrs B. She was happy with the purchases and I guess that’s what mattered. I found somewhere to sit near the changing rooms so it wasn’t entirely torture for me.

      This store is located in a large mall with plenty of parking. It has amazing selection of clothes with name brands. It’s very well organized clean defined purses. Families can shop there. The assortment is unbelievable and the deals can’t be matched. It’s also you got Ross dress for less in the same plaza so if you can’t find it at TJ Maxx, you can find it at the other place.

      The AC is NEVER on! It makes it hell for me to skim through because I’m drenched in sweat. I feel so bad for the employees working with no air. Lines are extremely long. As I’m typing I see about 20 people in front of me and I’ve already been already waiting over 10 minutes. At the moment there are only 4 open registers. What a shame. Staff is very nice.       It’s clear that it’s a store where you can find something for a low price and so you’d expect lots of people there. I am mostly frustrated about customer behavior especially in the women clothes department. It’s so messy. All sizes are jumbled up, items on the floor. It’s hard to try to find anything when it’s all in such a disarray. Surprisingly men’s department is more orderly. I tried to find some clothes for my parents and buying clothes for my dad was much easier. The staff were nice, if asked for help they will do their best. After making my purchase, I asked for a bag. The cashier placed all the items in the bag, wished me a nice day and I walked away. While walking I occasionally got a whiff of an unpleasant odor of wet dirty socks. When I got home I realized that the smell came from the TJ Maxx paper bag. It’s horrible. All the items inside had that weird smell.

      It was pretty busy in here as we shopped before Christmas but it wasn’t hectic. The only disappointment came was when it was time to use the bathroom. This store usually makes a lot if business. There is no reason to have a disgusting and smelly bathroom especially when we are dealing with COVID19…I understand how short staffed many places are but I feel public restrooms in stores and department stores should never ever be repulsive and revolting!!! Customers go to take a break and freshen up…so how disappointing is that when there is urine all over the floor and toilet seat??? Tissue paper thrown all over too! Customers can also do their part and keep in mind to be tidy and wipe the seat if they sprinkle when they tinkle. Well, as you know I feel Tjmaxx is a great store to find many things just be careful when using their restrooms…???

      A good store to find some good stuff, like treasure hunt! Nice staff! It’s in the same building with Bed Bath & Beyond and Marshall. Checking queue might be long, but there are many open registers so won’t wait spend too much time on waiting.

      Everything is neatly arranged, most of the customer service is friendly, a large selection of wo and men’s clothing and more. I am a tourist and I was the first in this store. When I left the fitting room, I wanted to buy some things (4 out of 10), on the right side I put “no 10” and on the left side I hung things that I did not want. Suddenly an old woman with glasses started shouting at me that she wanted to see the number which I put on the desk young lady/staff A young lady replied to her that is “10” and this crazy woman still kept shouting to me “but I want to see it”?‍♀️ I know perfectly well that the old woman saw that damn number. I was standing in the center of the hanger and desk. Old staff was very unprofessional, aggressive and racist,she said to me “ stupid white”.

      You go up the escalator to the top floor. It’s the entire floor, huge store. There is a cellphone charging station you can leave your phone while you shop and sanitize too. Huge team sports merchandise. Lots of ugly sweaters just in time for the holidays. Christmas and Hanukkah decorations.

      Fitting rooms are back! Long, long, long line to check out. They have so many items to look at while you wait. They are hopefully that you are going to buy these last minute impulse items that you don’t need. Cashiers are not friendly, they rather talk to each other than smile at the paying customers.

      Check your receipts before you walk out the door. I purchased five items that came up to over $116. I wasn’t paying attention and paid. When I looked at my receipt there were about 15 items on the receipt, none of which were mine. I had to go back to the store to get a refund. Also, stop asking me if I want a credit card. Ask me how my day is going instead.

      We always have a decent experience here. The store is clean and the staff is friendly when you need them. They have a good selection of both clothing and home decor. For me, the furniture is usually overpriced or at least priced higher than I’m willing to pay for what it is. You can definitely find some good deals on clothing though!

      I don’t usually post reviews, but after 10 minutes of waiting by the jewelry case to see a ring, i was still not attended too. This employee hadn’t even acknowledged me waiting the entire time. No “I’ll be with you in a minute”. Instead she let this lady ramble on about her entire life and all her past birthdays, as she tried on like 10 different necklaces. After not being noticed and waiting for an extended amount of time, I politely asked if I could see a single ring. The employee turned his/her head with no smile, and missing teeth and flatly stated “I’m with another customer” And then turned back to the customer.

      My experience today was below average & Rude . I was not acknowledged by the two cashiers that were busy talking about their outing last night rather than assist the customers on the line.

      I was eventually was flagged down by the rude cashier. I said good morning twice , The cashier said nothing , I was just giving my receipt on the counter with no word’s being exchanged. As I walked away before exiting the store the two rude cashiers started to laugh and said something under their breath however , I ignored it . I have to much to loose and class to play in the mud with negative humans It’s beneath me.

      Please do better with hiring. Aug 10th at around 10:05am .

      This store is dangerous! Lol Ample parking, great customer service, always clean and loaded with merch! I get all my healthy snack packs from here! Dog dept is great, housewares, clothing and faux plants are too! You cannot beat the cashback coupons if you use their store credit card!! This is definitely a place where if you see it, you better grab it. It won’t be there when you go back! The store is really well lit, too! I also want to add that the check out process is seamless. Nice and orderly.

      I just left this store and the dressing room attendant treated me like I was a criminal. I have to admit I have been crying over my kid and have not even looked in a mirror in the last few hours… So I guess I might look like I should not be shopping… But I have no time because I work and I have a wedding to attend… that’s beside the point. I gave them five stars because the rest of the associates are great. I over heard two of them talking and the encouragement and gratitude that came from their speech will be blessed. When you bless others God blesses you. It was nice to hear edifying coming from the employees here.

      I came here soon as the store opened, and the manager was having a morning meeting at the time nobody greeted me . I am a manager at a billion dollar retailer, and while in the morning meetings, associates and managers stop to greet the customer. What are we without our customers ? NOTHING! I looked around in the purse section for maybe 15 minutes and left. I refuse to shop anywhere that does not understand the importance of customer service.

      It has reasonable priced items, compared to other cities in NC we don’t get the current designers or high end brands . Always check dates on cosmetics, food etc I steer away from furniture unless it’s sturdy. Jewelry is nice but high for cosmetic peices and real peices. Small appliances are to expensive. They do have a good return policy and customer service well it’s a hit and miss. Person that checked me out shared to much personal info laced with profanity. I’m amused by it but not a conversation or experience I want to have when checking out.
