a month agoLoved my visit to TJ Maxx and so grateful that this company supports people with autism by donating to Autism Speaks.a week agoMy review is address to the cashiers. My mom was in this store about 2-3 weeks ago and one of the cashiers lied to her about credit card benefits and discounts. Unfortunately I do not remember her name but she was russian speaking. Now I have deal with calling the bank to close my mom’s credit card. Shame!!! I know the employees get benefits when someone opens a credit with them but this is illegal to push someone get one and lie about it. ( she said that it was a store discount card)6 months agoThis location is one of the best ones where I’ve shopped, but the store is disorganized. There needs to be better signage and labels. Overall, clothing items are frequently restocked and the staff is super nice. Some are too pushy when asking about the credit card they have. I know commission is a thing for certain retail stores but employees don’t need to continue trying to convince people after they have said no. a month agoOverall: 3.25. Located on the 2nd floor accessible via escalator. Decent variety of items and jewelry counter. Plenty of free parking spaces just outside of the store. Metro bus stop also conveniently located on Rockville Pike. At night, parking lot very dark and feels unsafe. Great variety of other stores (e.g., Trader Joe’s, Lane Bryant, Crumbl, Dollar Store, etc.) & restaurants.5 months agoI’ve walked to the front with merchandise, seen the line, and walked out more times than I can count. there’s never fewer than 20 people in line on the weekend – often way more. Truly hellish.a month agoLines, lines!! With only a few registers open and other employees and supervisor doing other things and assisting on other open registers! ??♂️? why wouldn’t help your staff by getting on a register or putting all hands on deck with a line like this?? This is not the first time I’ve seen this here at this location.4 months agoThis isn’t a bad location, have seen some nicer clothing and items at other locations but it’s what you would expect. The parking around this area is atrocious so be prepared. The lines are always long, even when registers are adequately staffed. That isn’t what bothers me, the irritating part is the customers in the line that sigh, whine and complain about a 5-7 minute wait to check out. I’ve never had a speedy checkout experience at this type of store so I’m not sure what they’re expecting, the entitlement is real. If a little wait doesn’t bother you, then it’s worth the trip.in the last weekStaff members don’t want to help older latino lady at the jewelry/bag counter was rude and displayed racist behavior. Someone better train them before they qet T.K. Maxx in trouble.
