Nick and Terry were exceptionally helpful. It was my first time, and they were so gentle in assisting me when picking up my order. I didn’t know how to check in, Miguel helped me do that…then I had multiple questions about my closet doors. Nick and Terry both confirmed my order was complete prior to my departure. Thanks guys. Nick was gone pulling another order before I could snap his pic, he knows how to hustle.

I go to this Home Depot at least twice a week and have been for 5 years or more now. I used to love this Home Depot but lately they have trouble keeping their products in stock and organized. The trim and baseboards section is a complete mess. The screws and nuts are a disaster. Things constantly are going out of stock and the app often misreports the availability of products. Getting assistance is sometimes easy but usually impossible. I hope they can improve in these areas.

I ordered something online yesterday for pick up in store. Manager called me to let me know one part was mislabeled and was out of stock. After learning that was the one part I really needed, she jumped into action and found another location that had ample in stock and confirmed they had my other supplies too. She cancelled the rest of the order, called the store manager at a different location to confirm it was there and then called me back to say it was waiting for me. The manager at the other location had hand selected the best board and had it on a cart waiting for me. All at nearly closing time on a holiday. Impressive customer service from both stores!

This is for the Home Depot on Fairmount Avenue in San Diego. I bought a large sink too heavy to carry. I came back a few days later and picked it up. I had it loaded for me no problem. A few days later I came to look for cabinet drawer handles. I could not find a certain variety. We asked for help and a gentleman found all the necessary handles. Prices always fairly competitive. They have a return policy that I do like. Keep your receipts. But even if you don’t have the receipt just present the credit card that the purchase was made with.

Always what you make of it. Found a nice new fiddle leaf plant for $30. Another in a bigger pot was $99, think I got a better deal.

I absolutely love Home Depot! From the moment I walk through the doors, I am always greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always willing to help me find exactly what I need. The store is always well-organized and easy to navigate, making my shopping experience a breeze.

What I appreciate most about Home Depot is their wide selection of high-quality products at reasonable prices. From tools and hardware to appliances and furniture, they have everything I need to complete my DIY projects.

But what really sets Home Depot apart is their exceptional customer service. The staff always goes above and beyond to help me with any questions or concerns I have, making me feel valued as a customer.

Overall, Home Depot is simply the best. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a great shopping experience with friendly staff and quality products. Keep up the great work, Home Depot!

Poor customer, felt rushed and as they wanted me out of there, mind you it is only 12pm when I was shopping, the biggest fault is not having Apple Pay, as they only take cash or physical card. This is especially upsetting in a world where Apple pay is available pretty much anywhere you go, so most of the time I don’t feel the need to carry a physical card, you’re losing customers that way and it’s something you should consider implementing, very disappointed.

The customer service at self check out was HORRIBLE! I felt as if I was being rushed out the door. My grandson was trying to pick out a candy and I wasn’t even in line yet when one of the employees turned around and basically yelled at me “are you in line?!” Obviously I was not in line yet but after that i felt like just hurrying up and getting out of the store to NEVER go back because of the HORRIBLE customer service I experienced in front of my daughter and grandson. I left very disappointed and upset! I will be doing my Home Depot shopping at other Home Depot’s in the San Diego area.

This swap meet was straight trash along with what the vendors were selling. If I could have gotten a refund for entrance costs I would have. Everything was dated and appeared to have come from a dumpster. Do not waste your time or petroleum going to this place. Drive past it and don’t even look at it from your peripheral vision.

As a recent seller – last 3 months, I can only say that this is one great location for our product. It took us about 6 times to find a great spot that now we rent monthly. It takes a few times and repeats to finally get set up as a routine. Also to Figure out shade and walking flow. The other long time sellers are helpful and cool. We buy from them and they buy from us. Our overall experience is 5 stars.

Way more stuff than I expected. I’ll be going back. It was raining the day we went so a return is needed. Even with the rain, there were a lot of vendors and tons of bargains. I got several yards of fabric and have a few regrets of not buying something I saw there. Next time I visit the area we will go back. Hubby wasn’t bored either because there was lots of interesting stuff. Maybe because of the rain parking was easy so I’ll probably go early if it’s sunny next time I go. We got free parking, and it was like a buck to get in. Lots of food vendors too, but I’m celiac, so I didn’t try any of them, but many looked and smelled good.

Large location, easy to use if you are a seller. They allow you to buy more than a single spot if you have a lot of stuff. Have been to busier and more productive swap meets as a seller, and I was told by other people selling, that this location is prone to theft, however I did not experience anyone stealing.

Good place to relax and shop. Food vendors some are rude I was sold old stale chopped fruit it turned out to be old andd stale. Flower stand is the best. Rude so called parking attendants They border on agressive and disrepectful.

My wife and I made a bear together here this week. It was my wife’s first build-a-bear ever, and she is 26! We both had a blast. The store is very clean and organized, and all the employees are knowledgeable about how to make the bears. The only thing I would like to add is that none of the employees (except one) were excited for my wife (or random children) making their bears. Especially for kids, making a bear is such an exciting, special, memorable experience, and the only employee who seemed excited about it was one young female employee with long black hair. She was the only employee who smiled at us. I know working all day makes people tired, but at least smile once? Lol. Everyone else seemed dead inside. I remember when I was a kid, we used to ring a bell when we made our bears, and we used to take them home in a box that looked like a house, with the bear’s head sticking out the window. None of that was offered to us. I had to ask.

The experience was very nice , every one was patient with my little one while she choose her teddy bear. They have a club membership free to join that allows you to pay your age on your bday month the website doesn’t work well to register so the staff was very kind to help on our arrival they have sweet nature and allow the children to submerge in the experience of building their own bear ! Thank you all for making such a sweet experience!

First time going to a build a bear, chose this location because the Otay build a bear says it is permanently closed. Brought my niece and nephew here for my nephew’s birthday. It was an overall great experience the staff is a bunch of wonderful ladies and they helped make this a great experience for all of us. I had even purchased a bear and outfit online and was able to exchange the outfit for another one with no problems even though they were pretty busy. Thanks so much I hope to return in the future.

I absolutely love build-a-bear. I took my son there for the first time this week and he had a blast building his own little stuffed animal. It was so fun that I went ahead and made one for myself too! Why not? The staff were extremely friendly and my son and I had a great time

Very cool shop has a lot of great things especially if you like anime. You’re able to find tokidoki here and Gundam. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly parking is easy to find they have a huge parking lot up on a hill. All the prices of the items are very reasonable.

BEST place to buy gundam models in San Diego. Expert staff, a young man recommended a model for me and I’m stoked on it! The lady who runs it is an angel, she’s so kind to everyone. SUPER random location though. It’s in old town and parking can be a pain. Artwork on the shop is 100% Awesome! Even the floors have runners on them. Looks dope af. Will be coming back for years to come.

If you like Gundam, don’t miss out on the opportunity to visit this place. We have visited several hobby stores near San Diego for gundam models (Gunpla). Hands down, Gunnzo has the largest variety of Gunpla kits. Even the gundam base pop up shop at Mercari didn’t have as good of a selection. There were several MG kits to choose from and an insane amount of HG and RG kits. They have built HG and MG models displayed, and can be used to get an idea of what the size differences are. From what i can tell, prices of the Master Grade kits were within 10 dollars (give or take) of what i could find online, but it works out because there is no shipping fee, you get your kit on the spot, and you help out your local business. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Gundam markers, paints, nippers, tape, drill bits, and other modeling tools are sold here.

How to Shop Smart at Toy Store San Diego CA: A Quick Tutorial

Shopping at a toy store can be a fun and exciting experience, whether you’re looking for a special gift or just exploring the latest trends in toys. To make the most out of your toy shopping trip, here are some simple guidelines to follow:

    • Do Your Research: Before heading to the toy store, take some time to research the toys that you are interested in. Look for reviews and recommendations from parents or experts to ensure that the toys are safe and suitable for the age group you’re shopping for.
    • Set a Budget: Determine how much you are willing to spend before entering the toy store. This will help you narrow down your options and make it easier to make a decision when faced with numerous choices.
    • Consider the Age and Interests: Think about the age of the child you are shopping for and their specific interests. Toys that match their developmental stage and hobbies are more likely to be engaging and enjoyable for them.
    • Check for Safety Labels: Look for safety labels on the packaging of the toys you are considering. These labels indicate that the toy has undergone safety testing and meets the necessary standards.
    • Interact with the Toy: If possible, try to interact with the toy before making a purchase. Play with it, push buttons, or examine the features to get a better understanding of its functionality and quality.
    • Consider Longevity: Think about whether the toy will have long-term play value. Will it be something that the child will continue to enjoy and use over time? Choosing toys that can grow with the child or have multiple uses can be a good investment.
    • Read Return Policies: Before making a final purchase, read and understand the store’s return policies. This will give you peace of mind in case the toy needs to be exchanged or returned.
    • Shop Responsibly: Consider the environmental impact of the toys you are purchasing. Look for toys made from sustainable materials or support brands that have eco-friendly practices.

By following these guidelines, you can make your toy shopping experience more enjoyable and ensure that you choose the perfect toy for your little one.

I always enjoy going to this mall! It sets at the last U.S. exit on off of 5 South and 805 South freeways and is easily accessible. It’s a nice outdoor mall. It has a lot of stores and offers a lot of discounts. If you live here or just visiting it makes for a great time had.

This place has ZERO restrooms and it’s so inconvenient! With the place being as big as it is it should have like 5 sets of bathrooms. Not to mention this entire place has been under construction for years and zero progress has been made so basically every walk way is blocked off with boards. ALSO, every single set of escalators is out of order. For a “luxury mall” it doesn’t feel very luxurious.

I hope I got the lovation right. This mall was absolutely beautiful. You are outside and walk store to store. We went in October of 2019 and I fell in love. You must ho at sunset to see the beauty it holds. The only downfall is if you eat in the food court, there are tons of annoying birds trying to eat too. Still so worth it!

I go to marshals every so often to get treats and toys for my dog. Today I noticed there was human snacks on the shelves by the dog treats, and some of the ingredients were toxic to dogs. I let an employee know that the snacks were not for dogs and they were placed in the wrong spot. I also let her know that if a dog was to eat the snacks, they could have a toxic reaction to it. I almost bought the treats for my dog, but like a good dog parent, I read the ingredients first and read the packaging. A simple, google search will let you know that the brand was in fact NOT for dogs. When I let the employee know she looked at the misplaced snacks and said “oh whatever I don’t care” and walked away. So I took it upon myself to remove the human snacks from the dog section. The rude employee turned out to be my cashier, I didn’t catch her name.

This Marshall’s is in a very busy mall and for that reason it gets hit pretty hard by tons of customers. After a recent visit it was clear to me that they are trying very hard to keep this location in check. The checkout was not slow and the store may lack inventory at times, but they can’t really be blamed for their popularity. I have been impressed with their ability to keep up.

So I have raised my rating to reflect my June 2023 visit.

This is a great place to shop for all kinds of kitchen articles that you may (never) need. It has also proven to be a good source of clothing and shoes for my picky teenage boys who occasionally find something that they can agree to wear although it was a bit difficult to explain that things like this can actually be acquired in a “brick and mortar” store as opposed to online. The store seems to be well managed as it is organized and clean. A bit of a problem with parking on busy days so try to come during slower hours.

I love the clothes so comfortable. Expensive but worth it. All customer service staff is great except for one girl. I cannot remember her name but while I was trying on pants and asked for a smaller size her response was “really? You don’t want it too tight.” I felt so uncomfortable asking for an even smaller size again, so I just returned at a different date and realized I’m actually a 10 there, not the 14 that she was trying to put me in and question me on. She could use a little training on non petite bodies. I’m only a 10/12 US sizing and I can’t imagine how she would treat someone if they were larger.

Loved this store!! My daughter was given a couple pairs of leggings for Christmas we needed to exchange (size and fit a problem), and I wasn’t sure how it would go. Paul helped us find exactly what would work, and also had a another employee (similar size and build as my daughter) check to make sure the fit was right. I was a little intimidated walking in, since we had never shopped there before, but everyone was very nice and welcoming. I ended up buying a pair for myself because it was such a great experience. We will definitely be shopping here again.

Went in with a friend to shop and were greeted by Lisa, she was so sweet and super helpful. The customer service in this store is impeccable, I have never had an interaction with a sales person like this before. Just left the store that I shopped at from the time they opened. What happened to customer service here? Ariel ( that what I understood when she told me her name under breath ) really needs to be trained in how to be customer service representative. What a disappointment, if you don’t have people skills, why do you want a job where it’s necessary?! Also big disappointment with the management ,I know how well & extensive the training used to be. Will avoid this location in the future.

They have the best staff! Cory remembered us from our last visit where we were looking for pants for our wedding party and approached me to let me know that she had thought about us and if we bought 10+ pairs we might be able to get a discount (!). Then, as I went to purchase a pair of align pants the cashier let me know there was a pair on the “made too many” rack that was really similar, which I ended up getting. Their staff is so friendly, kind, and approachable!

Avoid at all costs. Not a normal TJ Maxx shopper but a mirror on a quick in and out from here 3 days ago. Got home realized it was scratched and it just smudging. Go back to return it the next day and I wait 35 minutes in line to do the return. Staff was incredibly rude acting as though I damaged it/as though they wouldn’t take it back. Asked me four times why I was returning it to which I finally replied you sold me a damaged item. Box was unopened and had original styrofoam packaging around it. Had to have four other staff come over to look at it. To a point where it was disrespectful and they were acting as though I was trying to scam them (as if I would try to scam a store for $40). Incompetent workers. Save your time and spend the money somewhere better than this that actually offers quality items and customer service.

I love coming here for some fun shopping or if I need to find something quickly. Great variety of bath and beauty products. I wish the clothing was organized a little better, but you get what you get with places like this, it’s not Nordstroms or anything. The home decor options are great as well, you can find some really unique items. I snagged a giant shark pillow for a great price one day, apparently it was a pretty pricey FAO Swartz toy. You never know what you’ll find!

Needed to use the restroom in the middle of my shopping. There is a button that you have to press for an employee to come and let you into the restroom. I pressed the button and waited at least 10 minutes, but nobody came. As someone who works in retail myself, I recognize that things can get busy and you might be focusing on something more important than a customer needing to use the restroom, but this perspective crumbles when a customer came and put in the code to the women’s restroom by herself. After seeing this, I decided to ask an employee for the code to the mens restroom. The employee said they would send someone to let me into the restroom in a few minutes. Ten minutes later, I was still waiting and saw several more customers put in the code for the women’s restroom. It was very annoying!

Title: Disappointing Experience at Target Store with Unpleasant Encounter

      Rating: ★

I recently visited my local Target store on May 7th, around 11:15 am, and unfortunately, my overall experience was quite disappointing. While there were aspects of the store that were satisfactory, my encounter with an employee named Maria S was particularly unpleasant and left me feeling dissatisfied.

Starting with the positives, Target Store maintained a clean and organized shopping environment, which made it easy to locate products. The variety of merchandise available was impressive, and the store had a generally pleasant atmosphere. Additionally, most of the staff members I interacted with were friendly and helpful, contributing to a more positive shopping experience.

However, my experience with Maria S was the low point of my visit. When I approached her for assistance, she appeared visibly unhappy and was rather rude in her response. In a dismissive and impolite manner, she curtly stated, “I’m close!” This interaction left me feeling unwelcome and frustrated, as it seemed she had no interest in assisting customers or addressing their needs.

As a customer, I believe it is essential to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of the circumstances. Unfortunately, Maria S’s behavior did not align with these expectations, and it greatly affected my overall impression of the store.

It is important for businesses like Target Store to recognize the impact that such negative encounters can have on customers. Every customer interaction shapes the overall perception of the establishment, and it is crucial for employees to uphold professional and courteous behavior consistently.

While I understand that employees may have off days, it is imperative for management to ensure that customer service standards are upheld throughout the day, even during busy periods. Encouraging a positive and customer-oriented culture through training and support can greatly contribute to an enjoyable shopping experience for all patrons.

I sincerely hope that Target Store takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue promptly. Despite my disappointing encounter with Maria S, I acknowledge that individual experiences may vary, and others may have had more positive interactions at this location.

In conclusion, my visit to Target Store on May 7th, 11:15 am, left me with a sense of dissatisfaction due to the rude behavior displayed by employee Maria S. It is my hope that Target Store recognizes the importance of providing exceptional customer service and takes appropriate steps to ensure all customers are treated respectfully and courteously at all times

Every time I shop at Target the employees are so friendly and helpful! I buy several items there that aren’t available anywhere else. I’m especially happy to see how INCLUSIVE Target is and adore it’s PRIDE line. Btw, I am a 70-year-old straight woman.

Did they steal all of their shopping carts from Food4Less? Over the past couple of years, this store has become the worst by far for not having working shopping carts. They also make no effort to clean the garbage out of them before putting them away. Nothing makes me want to spend $0 in a store than dragging around a noisy, bumpy, filthy shopping cart. I’ll go to Bonita Plaza from now on until Broadway can figure out how to clean their store up.

During the busy Sunday, they only had 3 cashiers open out of 12. Literally spent 45 minutes in the line just to pay for my items. Will never go to this location again.

A solid 3 star Target. You will find what you need. If you’re looking for Men’s shoes? Low options, low capacity. Everything else, you will find what you need. Most of the clothes section is pretty unorganized and clothes aren’t where they should be.

This is a big target but it seems very outdated. Not sure if they’re in the process of updating the store but this location does not show Target vibes. There is a Starbucks at this location. You will find what you want from school supplies, party supplies, plastic ware, home decor and much more. Parking is easy. There was someone soliciting right in front of the entrance. Overall, an okay target location.

This store used to be my favorite one to go to. I’d drive farther because it was nice and always stocked. Just finished shopping and the entire store felt unsafe, it was understocked, hardly any employees. As we’re checking out a homeless guy placed stuff on our stuff and made us pay for it. I had my baby with me. That’s not okay. And then the security was one guy, just standing at the front. The whole time I was at this store the vibe was way off and I’ve never seen it like this before. It’s really sad that it’s gotten so bad. Not to mention all the drug addicts and homeless right outside of the store camping on the side. I definitely won’t be shopping here anymore, or any target from now on. I don’t feel safe there.

Reading through these other reviews, can definitely confirm the homeless population outside is totally out of control. In Feb 2020 I got jumped by two goons outside this location, they weren’t after me thank God just my groceries. Came back with my receipt the next day and got a full refund, thank you Target. But still, situation could have been way worse

This is a pretty big target. They generally have everything I need for household needs to clothes, even groceries. They have self checkout and cashiers working so the long lines can move fairly quickly. They also have curbside pickup if you want to order online and scoop up. Big parking lot and also a ton of other nearby shops so it’s a great place to get everything you need in one trip.

Edit: this target has gone downhill… I previously gave this target a great review. But my last few visits have changed my decision drastically.

There was an employee next to me talking on her Apple Watch the entire time she was working. Didn’t even ask if I needed help finding the items when it looked like a literal bomb went off.

The guy running the self Checkout was equally was bad.

I don’t know what happened but this target is a disaster now.

I even had other customers laughing along with me about how horrible this place has been managed.

It’s not a good business model to punish your legitimate customers due to the actions of illegitimate customers; yet, that is exactly what Target is doing at this store and the Mission Valley location. At both stores, everything is locked up behind glass cases and you have to press a button and hope some underpaid teenager comes over to open the case so you can get soap. (Yes, that’s right. Soap. Soap is locked up.) Then you, the paying customer, sits and waits while they unlock the case and ask you which soap you want. Then they lock it up and walk away, leaving you to press the button again 30 seconds later when you find the razors you want locked up as well.

I understand there is a major theft and homelessness problem at this store, but then hire extra security or don’t let those people in. You’re stopping the rest of us paying customers from accessing the items we want, extending the time of our Target runs, and generally frustrating us all in an effort to stop people that you should just be keeping out of the store in the first place.

Nice store with friendly staff. I loved it! I purchased a charcoal chimney, so now I have one of those to use when I’m firing up the grill and going to town on some delicious chicken or other yummy grillables. I also throw some corn on there to balance out the meal. A real man never runs from a challenge. Unless, of course, the challenge is the running of the bulls in Pamplona because that’s the whole point of that challenge. Plus, I’m not sure you’re ever going to defeat a bull running full speed through the streets. But what do I know.

It is a very clean place with generally friendly and helpful staff. They have a variety of tools and equipment. When looking for electrical stuff, check near the Lighting section.

Prices are steep compared to Harbour Freight, but they have some quality brands.

My husband and I had a most wonderful and satisfying experience yesterday while shopping at the Mission Valley Lowe’s in San Diego. The reason for that was the extraordinary sales consultant Dan from the Doors department. We were buying the baseboards and needed a LOT of them. Frankly, knowing how long they are (12 feet!) I was dreading even thinking of that purchase…. I saw a sales person sitting at the Doors department and asked him if we could have someone to help us with the baseboards. Dan said that he can do that! And boy, did he!!! Not only he immediately located the baseboards we needed, – he said he would collect them for us and place them on the cart. The baseboards came in a pack of 10 and were not only extra long but heavy too. To add to this “burden” (in all senses of this word) I was very picky and Dan had to move quite a few of the heavy packs for me to choose the best ones. He did! After we chose the baseboards Dan was so kind as to offer us to tape them and to make sure the baseboards were ready for our contractor to pick them up. My husband and I are so taken by this amazing customer service that we received from Dan who rightfully deserves all the credit! What a great, knowledgeable and extremely pleasant employee! Thank you, Dan!!! You made our day!

There are really kind staff at this Lowe’s. I’ve always had a good experience whether I’m buying stuff or just browsing. I bring my German Shepherd here to walk around sometimes because she loves looking and smelling inside the store. Today she had a slight medical emergency and pooped actual blood in the middle of the isle randomly. I won’t show pictures because it was gross… it looked like a can of tomato paste was dropped on the floor. Two employees helped me clean it even though I said they didn’t have to. They were so kind to us. They didn’t ask questions or make us feel bad, just got clean up stuff for me and helped out. Overall great customer service. Thank you!

Hardware Store in San Diego CA: Do’s and Don’ts Every Shopper Should Know

When shopping at a hardware store, it is important to know and follow certain rules to ensure a smooth and efficient experience. Here are some rules to keep in mind:

    • Wear appropriate attire: To ensure safety, it is advisable to wear closed-toe shoes and avoid loose clothing or accessories that may get caught in machinery.
    • Follow the store’s COVID-19 guidelines: In light of the ongoing pandemic, it is important to adhere to any safety measures put in place by the store, such as wearing masks or maintaining social distancing.
    • Bring measurements and plans: If you are shopping for specific items, it is helpful to bring measurements and plans to ensure you purchase the correct materials or tools.
    • Ask for assistance if needed: If you are unsure about a product or need help locating an item, don’t hesitate to ask a store employee for assistance. They are there to help and can provide valuable guidance.
    • Don’t open sealed packages: It is important to respect the integrity of sealed packages. If you need to examine a product further, ask a store employee for assistance or check if there is a display model available.
    • Be mindful of other shoppers: Hardware stores can be busy places, so be considerate of other shoppers by not blocking aisles or taking up excessive space. Allow others to access the products and prioritize courteous behavior.
    • Respect safety precautions: Hardware stores often have safety precautions in place, such as warning signs, restricted areas, or safety barriers. It is crucial to respect these precautions for your own safety and the safety of others.
    • Return unused items properly: If you no longer need a purchased item, put it back in its proper place rather than leaving it in a random location. This will help maintain order in the store and ensure that items are readily available for others.

Following these rules will help create a positive shopping experience for yourself and others at the hardware store.
