6 years agoAfter twenty years with Summerland I’m moving on. Behind the garish new colour scheme is a CU that cares a lot less about their customers than they once did. Staff can be rude and unhelpful, and unlike bigger banks Summerland really struggles to understand small business. Rates are not competitive with larger institutions, and where as a Bank will take a good look at your history with them, the CU won’t bother taking a couple of decades into consideration. If you live in the Northern Rivers, you can do a lot better.5 years agoThe rates, while not the most competitive, are firmly within the top 5 provided in the Northern Rivers . Staff are knowledgeable, patient, caring and genuinely helpful. Services are provided in a professional and efficient manner.
