4 months agoWhat a fantastic experience. A very knowledgeable, articulate and friendly guide helped make the most of this experience. It was interactive, fascinating and such a worthwhile venture in Tasmania. The refuge is staffed by people who are obviously devoted to raptors and rescue. I would highly recommend ita month agoIt was great the tour guide was friendly and willing to answer all questions. Basically amazing to see all the raptors definitely worth the money would rate 10000/10 experiencea month agoAs environmentally concerned Tasmanians we thought this tour was so worthwhile. The individual stories of the raptors & how they came to be here was so interesting & also appalling for some of them. The education centre was particularly informative & hands on. Our young guide was devoted & inspirational & her love for the raptors was clearly obvious. Our favourite was dapper “Bob” ? The owner has a true passion for educating business, government & individuals in an endeavour to save these amazing creatures. We would encourage young & old to visit or support this worthy facility Yvonne & Wayne2 months agoI really enjoyed the opportunity to visit Raptor Refuge. They provide a safe haven for birds of prey that would no longer survive in the wild, together with doing their best to rehabilitate as many birds as possible. I appreciate the work they are doing for wildlife. The operators of this refuge also advise on what the public can do to prevent harm to these amazing birds. This is important to ensuring the survival of Tasmania’s diverse wildlife.
