I have had nothing but excellent service from this CW store. Liam the chemist could not be more helpful and follows up requests to an excellent standard . A special thank you to young Matt. He really does go above and beyond with his customer service and assistance. Having trained and employed 100’s of staff in my life his service, smile , friendly attitude and attention to detail for customers is 5 star. Well done team ??

This Pharmacy Team are super efficient, helpful, friendly and compassionate. Each staff member treats EVERY customer as if they are the only person in the shop and that’s even when there’s a queue. On many occasions I have witnessed them being kind and willing to go the extra mile for people who are concerned or worried about something. They don’t rush our Senior Citizens but go out of their way to make them feel welcome and significant. If you need advice on a medication they will assist without being condescending. There are many other pharmacies in HB that we will never go back to again simply because we have witnessed them being rude and impatient with people who are clearly unwell, they give the impression that don’t care about who they are serving. Well done TEAM your a credit to yourselves, with your welcoming service with a smile, even when under pressure. ??

I am happy to drive out of my way to bypass several other pharmacies to visit this friendly and efficient pharmacy. The staff are always helpful and the service second to none. The lovely staff behind the counter are sympathetic to their customers and the pharmacists Greg and Jerry knowledgeable and helpful. There is plenty of parking at the front including several disability parking spaces. I can highly recommend this business.

Smaller sized store with less stock. Not very well lit inside, seemed a bit dark. Didn’t find what I was looking for and the one further up the road on: Was much larger and better stocked

Large store with lots of stock. They also have a chemists at the back that fill our prescriptions which is very helpful!

Staff were helpful and professional when I went to get two rounds of antibiotics! Gave me the full run down of the potential side effects and if I should consider taking supplements. Also when I should go to the doctor. Very reassuring!

I found everything expect the fragrance section clean.
The fragrance section had many bottles caked in thick foundation from the makeup area, I’m guessing it was school children. Which made the testers unusable

My wife and I went this store today to obtain several prescription medications. However staff informed us that we were “one day early” to have the medications dispensed, so if we wished to proceed we would have to pay an extra $1 per script to receive them. ONE DAY EARLY!! What a joke! It’s a great little ransom they’re now charging. We didn’t pay, and as we live a 40min drive from this store, we’ll shop elsewhere as we don’t have the luxury of being able to visit every day.

Not my usual Chemist & Today I remembered why!

The sales assistant staff were great assisting with my make up purchases. Unfortunately though their pharmacists think they know better than my long time GP & refused to fill some scripts issued by my GP on the day. When I questioned as to why, I was pretty much given a public dressing down by the pharmacy assistant, who has absolutely no idea about my medical issues, medications or treatment. By ‘Public’ i mean she had no problem mentioning my medications for everyone to hear!

I was absolutely appalled by their behaviour. I’m usually not one to leave negative reviews, but his was a must. I don’t want others to have to deal with this also.

I went to my usual chemist who filled the scripts & were lovely as always. Anyone in the Hervey Bay Area – Do yourself a massive favour & go to Direct Chemist Outlet at 46 Main Street, PIALBA. This is my usual chemist & to say the customer service, discretion & friendliness is far superior is an understatement! Also, as a bonus they are cheaper 🙂

Went in for some Anagraine. This is a paracetamol and metoclopramide combination drug used for migraines to prevent vomiting and reduce pain. It is a schedule 3 drug meaning it is dispensed by a pharmacy without prescription. As the type to get sever unstoppable vomiting with my migraines I have used this medication many times with great success. Usually you would use this medication at the onset of symptoms to prevent vomiting so it is important to have some on hand for when the migraine occurs. I was told by this pharmacy that I would not be dispensed it as they did not know me (this was AFTER I showed the counter staff my driver’s licence). I was told to either go to a doctor for a script (legally not necessary due to the drug’s classification) or come in with symptoms to prove I need it. As I do not believe I should be financially penalised for having a long term medical condition I will enjoy coming back to this store whilst vomiting. I can only hope I’m in Hervey Bay and close to this store when it happens!

Had the most bizarre experience there. My husband went to pick up some medication. The script stated still valid for another 3 months. He waited half an hour and was then told the script is out of date. When he got home we noticed they had removed the used by date on the script. Just perled of the paper!? I then called up and was told…laws had changed and the script had expired, even it stated cleared it was still valid. I told them how unprofessional to just remove tye date without telling my husband, who came home accusing me of sending him off with an out of date script. Will never use this chemist again. Their staff need some training on ethics!
