We Went late , just before or just at closing. The pharmacist was so helpful and friendly and not rushed at all. He was caring and wanted to assist with his knowledge and experience.

Been here twice and Vien has been very welcoming and extremely helpful to show me how to use new medications on both of the occasions. He’s gone beyond what regular pharmacists would do when you start new medication. It’s really perfect for people who are at work and has GP appointment at late hour as this Pharmacy opens from 6pm. If you are around the area, highly recommended to visit this pharmacy!

Just phoned regarding my mother’s condition and the staff member who answered the phone was very polite and helpful also the pharmacist was knowledgeable and informative of the condition. My family have been attending the 24 hour pharmacy for a considerable amount of time and have never been let down

I went to get medication and I encounter a very rude pharmacist (Asian looking guy) today don’t know his name. But when I ask if it can be in Webster pack today he replied with don’t you think it’s late notice ? No we can’t. rolled his eyes and gave me an attitude. There’s a way of communicating nicely. He was so rude! The worse pharmacist I have ever encounter. Bad customer service. I won’t be coming back here for someone so unprofessional like him. Should be nicer to customers.

Been a customer for many, many years. Although Jan, the previous head chemist/owner was simply outstanding the staff who have come in since then have carried on Jan’s great work. Sure sometimes you have to wait sometimes for scripts but they are pretty damn busy every time I go in and theres a limit to how many staff you can.employ.. I can’t understand the negative reviews left here. I certainly haven’t had a single problem and the staff go out of their way to help.

Absolutely disgusted I pay $6.30 for an antibiotic at other chemist .but here they charged me $17 for the same medication so be prepared to pay almost triple. Only went here because it’s 24hr and my chemist was closed and my son needed medicine.

I recently had an unfortunate encounter with one of the rudest staff members at a local pharmacy, and it left me feeling upset and disappointed for the rest of the day. My visit occurred today, around 1:15 pm, and the behavior displayed by the staff member had a significant impact on my overall experience.

From the moment I entered the pharmacy, I could sense a lack of warmth and customer service. As I approached and ask for assistance, the staff member responded with an unwelcoming glare, displaying an evident lack of interest in helping me. I understand that everyone can have off days, but her demeanor was beyond what one would consider acceptable.

When I politely requested information about a specific thing, instead of providing me with the guidance I needed, the staff member responded in an abrupt and dismissive manner. She appeared annoyed by my questions and made me feel as if I was wasting her time. This level of unprofessionalism is not only disheartening but also goes against the very purpose of a pharmacy—to provide assistance and support to customers seeking their expertise.

The impact of this encounter on my day cannot be overstated. Interactions with pharmacy staff should be accompanied by a sense of trust, comfort, and respect. Unfortunately, this staff member’s rudeness had the opposite effect, leaving me feeling discouraged and upset throughout the remainder of the day.

As a customer, I believe it is crucial to highlight experiences like these to shed light on areas where improvement is needed. It is my hope that the management of this pharmacy will address this issue promptly and take measures to ensure that their staff members are trained in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a professional demeanor.

In conclusion, my recent visit to the pharmacy left a lasting negative impression due to the rude behavior of one particular staff member. It is my sincere hope that the management will take this feedback seriously and make the necessary changes to ensure a more welcoming and customer-centric environment in the future.

If I could give my experience 0 stars, I would. This incident happened on the 27th June at around 2:50 pm. My friends and I were simply browsing the makeup section but had to leave without making any purchases because we felt incredibly uncomfortable and disrespected. While I was trying to find a tester for a lip pencil shade, I mistakenly removed the cap of one that appeared to be a tester, unaware that it wasn’t intended for sampling as it didn’t have any plastic around it like the other pencils. I understand why the security guard approached me in that situation, as I had unknowingly handled a non-tester item. However, the guard’s attitude was extremely rude, treating us as if we were thieves when all we were doing was trying to find our desired shades. Furthermore, he accused me of removing the plastic wrapping from the lip liner, when in fact, I had only just picked it up.

Later, as we continued to examine the shades, a female worker approached us from behind and scolded us for opening the lip liner, even though it was clearly marked as a tester. She then went to inform the security guard to keep a close eye on us. Shortly after, the security guard confronted us again and accused us of tampering with the sealed pencils.

Moreover, most of the shades didn’t even have testers available, so maybe the lady should have focused her attention on ensuring there were testers for customers instead. Instead, she chose to harass us while holding an empty box and observing us the entire time. We have never been treated so poorly in any store before, and I had a much better experience when I visited another Chemist Warehouse right after. My friends and l were left shaken after we left the store. I also work in a customer service environment, and l have never and would never treat a customer this way.

While reading the other reviews, it becomes evident that my encounter was not an isolated incident, as numerous other customers have also encountered the discourteous behaviour of the staff.

Don’t bother going unless you want to be treated like a thief.

My overall experience is both good and bad. Chemist is really helpful and kind and assisted me with medicine but on other hand receptionist declined to take cash payment and forced me to pay via credit card and informed me that they have stopped taking cash for a day at around 6pm and now they can only accept cash. this is really frustrating on that day i was sick and after that i need go to purchase medicine from any other pharmacy store.

I had bad experience with Chemist Warehouse staff member, especially Chinese lady (asian look), If you wanna know who was that, check on staff roaster on mention date. I am sure she is rude to many customers who visit this branch, it isn’t just me. Her words and actions appeared to me like that of an uneducated person. That was very terrible behaviour. I have been this branch very often, but I won’t be there anymore!! Managing a Chemical Warehouse requires training and educating your staff to improve customer service skills. Even the asian male pharmacist speak wasn’t nice too. I recommend to go somewhere else, or other Chemist Ware house nearby such as Midcity or George st. instead and forget about Pitt St. brach forever.
