a week agoWould not even give 1 star! We threw $80 worth of food in bin. The chef if he is Indian and holds degree should have been really sacked the food was that bad! The curries were sweet! Like dessert! The naans were dry and chewy! They charge $26 for a curry and serve you food that is not even eatable all the curries are red with food colour looks the same and tastes sweet like rabdi! I don’t know who’s these person who serves dishes and has no idea how food should be! Being Indian growing up eating food it’s a basic idea of taste and you don’t need degree for that! After degree is this what your standards are then you are in wrong profession!3 months agoIf you can’t make it, don’t take it Worst experience of take-away. We were asked to wait 40-50 minutes when order was taken. Went in after 55, were told to wait for another 20 minutes , paid and waited patiently. When went in after that, were told again to wait for another 25 minutes cause they HAD NOT EVEN STARTED COOKING our god damn order. You should have advised that you won’t be able to cook in time. That is absolutely ridiculous. We could have cooked at home. You wasted our time, ruined our night, and kept us on waiting for hour an a half. And we had to again wait somewhere else to have our dinner. Next time, be mindful before you take an order. Such a shame!!! Absolutely disgusted….a month agoOnly giving two starts coz the staff was friendly and welcoming. Really hated the paneer tikka masala. Tikka masala was loaded with sugar/sweetener. It’s supposed to be tangy and have a little kick to it. But it was really sweet. Also the flavour of black cardamom was too overpowering. The flavour profile was nowhere close to authentic Indian; No indian person would have liked it. Disappointed. Not a place where I recommend Indians to go.5 months agoMy husband and I love Indian and this was our first visit for a takeaway. It was by far the best food we have had and we have tried many Indian restaurants in Toowoomba. Thank you so much and we will definitely be back.6 months agoWe had a family get together to celebrate our youngest grandchild turning 6. Everything was great. I think it is family operated but the food is fabulous, service is like being looked after at home. Servings are generous and enjoyed the chicken curry with Jerramungup rice and cheese and garlic nan bread. So full after that feast. Saw plenty of people collecting take away but we all enjoyed being and eating in the restaurant.
