Original review. 3 Stars. Small group of us went for a late lunch/early dinner on a Thursday afternoon. It was a little busy but within the 20-30 minutes we waited in line to order, the line grew and was spilling on the footpath.. even with a 7pm closing time, nice to see they were still being served.
Group order of fish, chips, wedges and calamari. The calamari were gold, very nice and definitely something I’d have again. The chips were nice, wedges and fish so so.
There’s a little bit of seating but not really enough for how busy it gets, seating areas could use another bin as the crows and ibis’ were getting in them and definitely need a bit of a clean from time to time. Limited parking as it’s also used by people who settle in for the afternoon to watch the sunsets over the bay. See

Great food but very poor service.
I tried Peter’s for the first time a couple years ago after seeing so many pictures and reviews. The food was amazing and fresh, however the service was appalling. I waited in line with a diverse range of customers and was disappointed when it came my turn to be greeted with a disgruntled staff member who’s demeanour and communication changed completely. He spoke in a loud and abrupt tone (assuming I couldn’t speak English based off my appearance). I then watched him promptly perk up and cheerily greet the couple behind me and continue to go between the two, based on the appearance of the customer he was serving.
Well I wanted to give Peter’s another chance, hoping my experience this time would be a bit more positive and went back for some more fresh seafood. While the food was absolutely spot on, the service unfortunately remained unchanged. Exact same experience this time around with the same attitude when ordering.
As a business that’s located in such a prime location with such good food, it’s truly so disappointing to see such a lack in the quality of service.
Multiculturalism and diversity isn’t new in Australia, and it seems it might be worth educating your staff on it.

Great Fish and Chips from Peters Fish Market. We had heard positive reviews so decided to give it a try. Awesome fish and lovely chips, good size portions and $10 for fish of the day. The outside sitting area could do with a bit of attention but the friendly staff and food made up for it.

Unfortunately I can not do zero stars otherwise I would. I definitely do not recommend filling your car up here the workers demonstrate complete discrimination towards customers. My friend and I arrived at the petrol station to fill up and as she has just got a new car we made the mistake of parking the wrong way to fill up so we simply were trying to turn around when two men working at the store spoke over the loud speaker in a loud disrespectful tone saying that we must pay before filling up. We are not idiots and we’re completely offended by this. A man parked next to us was able to fill up before paying as per usual so we know what these men were trying to do. After paying $50 they cut our petrol short only letting us fill to $49. Yes it is only $1 but after the way they spoke to us it was not acceptable and needs to be dealt with now!!!

I can’t express how happy I am with my hair and this Salon. Originally researching google reviews for salons that were good with blondes, I stumbled across Neons reviews. Very nervously I booked a appointment, asking for a senior stylist. After getting my hair done at various salons on the coast for 15+ years, and never completely satisfied, I was thinking it might be time for me to cut off my long thick locks. I was happy with my first initial appointment leaving with a fresh colour and being able to run my fingers through my hair. I think the second or third appointment I met the salon Manager Nicole. I asked if we could have a honest chat about my hair. She was open and friendly. I told her while I was happy, I still felt like I wanted more from my hair. When you have really long thick hair that takes some 5 hours you really want it just so. I began to list all the problems I’ve had at other salons, even ones I was loyal to for many many years. Things like the Colour never being quite what I wanted, to ashy or just bland, and always leaving with a dry and damaged mattered mess. The fact that I’d never left previous salons being able to run my fingers through my hair, always feeling like I needed to go straight home and wash it. I expressed that I was already a million times happier with her salon, but still wanted more from the Colour. I showed Nicole a picture of the blonde I was trying to achieve. And she explained to me how we were going to achieve that and what time frame without damaging my hair. She assured me we would get there and I didn’t need to cut off my long locks. Well yesterday I had my hair done again by Nicole and is such a gorgeous bright blonde. Another client walked in for her appointment and couldn’t stop staring and complementing me on it. She was totally mesmerized! So much so I heard her asking Nicole about my hair as I was leaving. I’m so thrilled to be the new ‘bench mark’ that people are trying to achieve with their blonde! Went there early (around 7:15) to get four pages laminated. The lady at the counter who took my order and completed it was totally empty of any type of customer service. She spoke in a manner that openly displayed her mood in being in a customer environment that she didn’t want to be in. The management really need to replace this type of employee with a customer friendly employee. Hey guys, sorry to be that person that leaves a 2-star review, but having spoken to someone at the shop I don’t have any confidence the issue will be addressed in any way. I run a business that requires me to get large format (A1, A2, A3) posters printed and other stationary. I’ve channelled hundreds of dollars of posters through your shop recently. The previous order was made once and produced in two parts for 2 diff collection dates, fair enough. After collecting the 2nd of 2 parts and getting back, we noticed you had not printed everything in the order. So our Finance Director made a 3rd journey, with accompanying documentation and proof, and you refunded what you had not printed – that’s not doing us any favours – that’s your legal minimum to refund for what you have failed to make. Today I collected another order, but this time I check before driving off, and sure enough you failed to print 1 of 4 posters order???? I spoke with someone there to see if it was lying around in another roll, it was not, I asked how could it not have been done, and explained how this was the 2nd time in my last two orders with you that you had totally stuffed up a really mindlessly simple task. The person offered no explanation, but said the remaining one could be printed in 40 mins. I don’t have time to wait 40mins, so I have to make yet again another journey to you. I asked the person if I could speak with someone or was there a way for me to offer feedback so your team and management could fix what is going wrong in your procedures – I was told there would be a feedback link in one of the emails, there was no manager present. By this stage I have zero confidence in my constructive feedback getting to anyone in authority, and clearly you will not make the changes required to stop this really time wasting unprofessional error re-occuring – how many other customers do you inconvenience this way? It’s a huge coincidence that twice in 2 orders this very customers experienced the same incompetence.

Liked their Biryani, which was unbelievably good, spicy as authentic. Also tried Goat curry which was bursting with flavours. Atmosphere was awesome, service was excellent. Only thing they could improve in these two dishes or others they to cook their chicken and meat slightly more, as was not that tender which I was expecting.

I’ve been taking my car for services at Mr. mechanical for a few years.
There have been two instances that make me think they’re a genuinely good bunch. Full disclosure, I could just be dumb.
1) I was taking my car in for a lot book service. I had noticed earlier that my breaks were starting to squeak, but did not mention it. They said my break pads were glazed and could use replacing. The fact they sqeauked made me believe this. They’d never previously tried to sell me anything additional before
2) I had a master warning light turn on. Took it in and they were able to look into it same day. My stupid Mazda i-start battery dies again. Both timeline and prove lined up with what I’d paid previously and lasted about as long.
Overall, I’ve never felt cheated and am happy to take my car here. Staff is also lovely.

My recent experience dealing with Mr Mechanical was first class. They provided excellent service and did a great job with my car. The staff were friendly and extremely courteous. They went far beyond what was expected from them by personally taking me home while they repaired my car and then returning to pick me up to retrieve my car once it was repaired. I would not hesitate in recommending this company to any one whose car needs a service or repair.
