      I have always been very anxious about dental treatments and visiting the dentist in general. Dr Greg and the team at Dental as Anything have helped me overcome my anxieties and after my Invisalign treatment, I now have a confidence and a smile I’m proud to show off.       My dad needed urgent dental treatment during his recent travel to the GC from interstate. We had the very good fortune of having Bethany and Dr Mark Miller assess and treat Dad who is always weary and nervous about seeing dentists. The care, professionalism and after care call was absolutely commendable. Wish there was such a lovely clinic back home. Additionally and most importantly, my Dad was reassured by their respectful manner, consultation, explanations and caring approach. Thank you very much.

      Dr Miller and the whole team at DAA are great. Always friendly and helpful and my teeth have never looked better. I have had Invisalign, fillings, implants, veneers, whitening and general check up and cleaning services completed at DAA and have always been happy with my results.

      I would like to thank Dr Mark so much for his wonderful care and support in guiding me through what normally is a terrifying experience at the dentist. He was not only amazing I also would give him 10 out of 10 as all went so well. My fear of dentists starts from years ago when a simple filling turned into a nightmare! After 4 to 5 injections my mouth was not numb felt dizzy couldn’t move body so I was carried out back door of dentist so from 10 in the morning until 8pm I couldn’t move thankfully after 8 I was able to get up. Scary!!!!! Couldn’t recommend Dr Mark more highly for his amazing dentistry and wonderful manner. One very happy patient. Maree ?

      Absolutely the best dental practice I have been too. I now have plan in place to help repair and prevent issues that had never been explained to me past. Saving me lots of pain the the future, and an amazing smile to look forward to. Special mention to Dr. Mark and Casey for their caring support and guidance. Highly recommended!!

      Beautiful and lots of choices of plants. Good prices, too. The staff working in the place are very friendly. It’s probably best to visit early morning during summer as the area is open and mostly not shaded except the areas where there are plants. I highly recommend this place.

      Massive selection of plants to choose from, sadly the pricing isn’t displayed on most things. Also we specifically went here to look at and/or to pet the animals displayed in the Google photos (goats, chickens, piglets) but there’s no animals anymore, the staff told us they got rid of them because “they got too big” ??

      Seven acres of lushness! Loved the juicy succulents and the rows and rows of cacti. What an a-may-zing place – such a well kept secret! Owner asked us along to see the baby pigs having a feed and there are chickens and so much more to see here than just browse the plants. Gorgeous setting in cloud misted hills. A lovely experience. Met the grower of the plants I chose…. that has immense value to me – and that just doesn’t happen at the big superstores. So, so lovely and satisfying to buy direct. Highly recommend!

      The store has been around for a few years now. A large double storey branch with plenty of parking on the lower level. As customers we do need to understand that the Bunnings staff are at different experience levels, with some being able to assist at every level we require and others are on a training path and not yet knowing everything. I always cut the people some slack if they’re not able to render the type of service I expect.

      Callam gives me the best advice. He was putting the paint in the aisle. He left straight away to help me. We have a 1-minute quick chat about 20 different sealants for water use. He knew his stuff. He knows the other aisle. I grab ten/items in 3 minutes from 22 to 52 to 40. This guy is a computer. Highly raccomand. Young! Smart!

      I love shopping at this Bunnings. It is easy to get in and to get out. Ample parking and the store itself is quite big, and I can get what I need. I usually look on the website first to see where the items I need are located, that saves me time and I don’t have to search.

      Has things needed. Getting help in the paint department is near impossible. We’ve had 4 goes at it and failed to be served, plus they didn’t know the answers to our questions. One of the younger staff members told me you can only get Chalkboard paint in black whilst we were standing in front of a sample of an Aqua Blue chalkboard. Front of house staff are lovely and a male staff member helped us in flooring even though it wasn’t his area. The flooring person also helped. They were both great.

      This would be the worst customer service i have ever received, actually there was no service. Went to buy a BBQ no one could help. Finally found someone and automatically no we dont have that, they did. Found it but no help you pick it up yourself. I said is this easy to assemble, got a shrug and a mumble and walked away.Asked about the stand, umm yeah its around the corner. Went up to checkout out and asked about swap and go, no idea then she put the wrong code in and locked the POS and looked at me as if i new how to fix it. Each person i encounted couldnt give a dam they are literally there for a paycheck. They need to practice what they preach on their TV ads.

      After visiting this store for 9 months with my 4 kilos puppy on my hands. Tonight I was not allowed to enter because of “so responsible” guy on entrance. unpredictable and inconsistent store. luckily there is another one in pacific fair. with no such a drama and no lottery on entry. will prefer to avoid the store where stinky drunk homeless are more welcomed than a small dog on hands.

      Great little Woolies, doesn’t stock as much range as the larger woolies such as Pacific Fair but nearly always has at least 1 brand or type of whatever you need. Always well stocked and clean, can get pretty busy during peak times. Really good selection in the bakery department especially for a smaller store. Good fresh produce and meat departments, busy store so always refreshed with fresh stock

      A good sized Woolies that has recently undergone a refurb throughout the store which now looks good. It has also had the new electronic ticketing system installed. There is also plenty of nearby parking available.

      This one of my favourite woolies on the coast. It’s bigger than a lot of the others so commensurately has a larger product range too. There’s plenty of parking and it’s easy to get in to do your shopping. It’s in the kitchens precinct too so there’s plenty of good food, drinks and coffee nearby too which is another big plus

      Pretty decent Woolies, compared to the one downstairs opposite end of the center it’s set out quite different. This one is good with everything you’d need. Great being close to all the kitchens restaurants.

      Weekends they can run out of some veg so get in early. Mostly its stocked well.

      Some of the staff on the tills are a bit green and need more training and or direction on bag packing.

      If they don’t have a type or flavor of item in this Woolies, the Coles just down in the kitchens has it.

      I bought this yesterday for $4.99 and matked as reduced. I was about to serve it for tea when I’ve noticed the funny texture and I looked closer thete was a mould on it!!! It was marked as best before March as you can see in the pocket. Woolies you’re a rip off!!? Fresh food people my ass!!

      I recently had my Cat in care with the amazing team at AEC. From the moment I dropped him off to when I picked him up I felt at ease the entire time. I had updates from the team every 12 hours & they communicated everything with me. I was able to have an input into Jinx’s plan to come home & if I ever need a emergency vet in the future they will be the first point of call. Amazing service & Great Team of professionals!

      A late night dash to Varsity Lake emergency when one of our dogs had an anaphylaxis reaction to a bite from some type of insect. The staff were amazing, explained everything that was going on with him and reacted quickly to resolve what was happening. His vital signs started to improve while we waited and an overnight stay for observation resulted in a much happier boy when we picked him up next morning. Cannot thank the staff there enough for their efforts, yes the costs are on the high side but it was an emergency and you can’t put a price on saving a member of your family, well done to the staff. I highly recommend the Varsity Lake animal emergency centre

      I wanted to say a massive thank you to Dr Stephanie who helped my poor cat Celeste who swallowed one of her toys yesterday. Dr Stephanie was extremely compassionate and empathetic, and went through everything in full detail with me and my partner. I felt super confident that my cat Celeste was in the best possible hands.

      Not even 30 minutes after I had left my cat with Dr Stephanie, I receive a call saying that the procedure was complete and all seemed well! Dr Stephanie I cannot thank you enough for saving my little girl and am forever grateful for your fast action and genuine care for your patients.

      I would highly recommend the AEC team to anyone who has a pet emergency! The team are extremely knowledgeable and empathetic. Thank you especially to Dr Stephanie, you are an angel! Lots of love from Nicola and Celeste x

      This has been the worst clinic I’ve ever had the nightmare of entering. My current problem is the monthly medication I am supposed to be receiving, not only did the nurses not inform myself, they failed to inform a doctor until it had run out. This was around January, at which point the doctor refused to sign the form to allow me to order more medication. It has now been three and a half months and the medication has shown up today but I cannot get an appointment for another two weeks. The nurses are incompetent and always make my arm hurt after injection unlike the amazing nurses from chevron medical centre who I never had a problem. Absolutely appalled at the experience I have had at this clinic.

      I used the computer to register which was quick and easy. Dr Longmire is thorough and very professional. I also got my flu injection and Pierre, the nurse, was very nice and performed the injection painlesssly. It was easy to organise another appointment through the receptionist. The receptionist was helpful and gave me the appropriate time for my next appointment.

      I suffer from a major depression/anxiety disorder as I was on holiday there and the beautiful Australian/Asian heritage pharmacist rushed my medication to me asap as I was crying, gave me water and even gave me a hug while talking me through it. Iv never experienced such genuine care and compassion from any stranger or even medical professional. Its so rare in life to meet humans like that. I’ll always appreciate his genuine care.

      I’d give no stars if that was an option. Came in for a script tonight and waited almost half an hour (store was empty). No one called my name out for the script, eventually I went to ask the staff busy gossiping at the front for it, the young guy looked inconvenienced that he had to turn around and pick it up. I asked him how long it had been ready for and his reply was “a while” and laughed. In empathetic people should not work at in a chemist of all places

      My Aunty generally likes this chemist and its staff but she had such a horrible experience that she won’t likely come back ever again. She came in on a Saturday, before meeting me at 12pm for lunch to get her blood pressure tablets and there were 2 female pharmacists working. The taller blonde lady was busy and the darker haired pharmacist came from the back to take my Aunty’s script. Never before has she ever been questioned on getting her medication a few days early from a script. She was spoken to in such an abrupt manner that made her feel like she was doing something terrible when she just needed to get her blood pressure tablets. She has not had any issue in the past from this place before or anywhere and this medicine is not even abusable( I checked her bottle at home and the medicine she has is called prexum). She only had 5 tablets left in her old bottle so how is that too early? My Aunty decided to leave without getting it and when she met me for lunch I could see she was very upset and she said she was spoken down upon in a rude loud manner like she was stupid. I decided to go with her to another chemist instead and they gave her the tablets without causing a fuss. This is completely unacceptable behaviour from a health professional. Pharmacists are meant to communicate to people with more of a calmer demeanour and not make the consumer feel humiliated. Won’t be coming here again as there are plenty of other chemists in Surfers.

      Started to get a runny nose and a tickle in the throat so bought cough mixture to nip it straight away. Got arrogantly and condesendantly told if I want to nip it go see a doctor. If I hadn’t paid for it I would have given it back and said, “I’ll do just that”. Next time this local will go Chempro where I get much better service.

      I hate going here and only go if I’m desperate. They ALWAYS over charge me, I have told them the price I usually pay ages ago and they took my script back and changed the price, but it was still $4 more than my usual chemists. I went in tonight and they charged me literally double my regular price. I didn’t say anything as I was too sick and tired to even bother. Just won’t use them again in the future.

      My 19 yo daughter came in with a contraceptive prescription. She was diligently asked if she wanted the generic for that and then she was served and charged for the brand one, Yasmin without even tell her that the generic was out of stock and that the one she got was the most expensive one. I called 2 days after and asked if the generic for it was available and it was! I explained what happened and they dismissed me saying you can come anytime and change it if you haven’t used it yet. Of course I can! I would have like to hear apologise for a behaviour that seems driven just by profit not surely for the best interest of the patient!

      Worst service ever.

      So train your staff to speak to customers with empathy. I went in to buy restavit. I was questioned as if I was going to commit suicide. I just had trouble sleeping from stress. Those tablets are glorified antihistamines. You couldn’t OD on them anyway. Any person working at a chemist should be serving people with empathy.

      Travelled here to get my sick child’s script filled on a Thursday night at 11:40 after being turned away from the so called John Flynn 24 hour pharmacy as they were closing. A wonderful staff member at Chempro palm beach was polite and very helpful. Script filled within 3 minutes. Cannot recommended this chemist enough. Very grateful for this 5 star business

There is an amazing “brand” section of quality items (yes, you pay a little more than “op shop prices” but the quality is worth it).       Store is set up beautifully, has a boutique feel, light and airy. Yes there are higher priced quality items, obviously Salvos are trying to raise as much money as they can for their charity work. Saying that I found plenty of reasonable priced items in clothing, knick knacks and books. Sue one of the staff wrapped my candle sticks up carefully and served me with a friendly smile, nothing was too much trouble. I will be back

      Brilliant salvos op shop in Bundall. Clean, well presented and well organised. Great selection of goods. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Bec especially is a delight, super friendly and helpful and quick with a smile and joke which is great. Salvos stores have good stock rotation and there’s a colour code system that I haven’t quite got the hang of but I gather each week the colour changes and goods of that colour get marked down, sometimes to just $2.       Great location, easy car park provided off the road, warm polite and helpful staff despite us coming in close to closing time, prices are all what you expect at an op shop, all while supporting the good humanitarian works of the Salvos. I scored a pair of pants for $6 and a food processor for $40 – my wife and I have been looking for one, but it’s a relief knowing we can try this one for $40 instead of trying to find the perfect one for hundreds of $ without trying it! We had a great experience and recommend Salvos Stores to anyone looking to prevent waste, spend less, and support humanitarian efforts.

      Guys are all great and friendly. They do great cuts specially fades. Just tell em what you want and they will sort you out. I forgot the name of the young man who cut my hair. He’s really good and hard working. What I like about him is with a brief description with what I want, he immediately know what to do and of course style my hair. Thanks young man! Keep it up.       Where to start? So all the Guys in this shop can shape hair in such a carrying and stylish way that lasts long. All the time I walked In the place was a pack of people. So I suggest booking in; even if the cut is not listed, call them at least. It will save you time and frustration. They must be trendy. When they fully book these, there is no hope you will have your cut. I highly recommend this place. I`m so pleased about the full salon.

      The guys here were friendly, made me and my young son welcome as soon as we walked in, and did a great job.

      The adult haircut and beard trim was incredible – not rushed and kicked out the door, but classic barber service and style.

      Then the patience and care to give my son (3 year old) a safe and stress free haircut was first rate.

      Couldn’t recommend more highly.
