This is a beautifully designed garden. It is great for kids to see ducks, fishes and reptiles in the gardens. The peacock put up a great show of his feathers when we visited. Very scenic, serene and highly recommend to visit.

Delayed review. Have visited twice for the cherry blossom extravaganza. Loved, loved it.

We were lucky as we came mid week and there was no crowd.

Thanks to this place, I can delay going to Japan lol

      A must visit.

Went to the Cherry Blossom Festival today. Loved seing the peacocks, Wallabies and wombat. The flowers and cherry blossoms are beautiful, and the food stalls were really nice but it was extremely crowded. Also not a fan of the fake turquoise colour of the ponds and waterfalls….. Not sure if it is dyed on purpose or what causes it.

If you visit this place past the Cherry Blossom season, it is a good visit but during the Cherry Blossom season where you have to pay 15 dollars to visit a place filled with people, not a good one.

The place is heavily inspired by Japanese culture and it is very in point. Best time to visit is during spring.

We visited the gardens over the years a lot of times ❤️ And yesterday we visited again free entry ❤️ But the the cherry blossoms have just finished ? but the roses should be starting to grow new growth again. There are more male peacocks than females! The geese are still running around ❤️ The gardens are nice in the spring and autumn ?❤️

I appreciate the existence of WILDLIFE Sydney Zoo as a conservation center conveniently located in the heart of the city. It provides an excellent opportunity for people to discover and learn about native animals. While I believe the animals are well-fed and cared for, I couldn’t help but notice that some seemed quite stressed and lonely.

Understanding the limitations of space, especially in a city setting, I think it would benefit the animals, particularly the kangaroos, to have more greenery. Maybe it’s just me, but I felt like the tree kangaroo, might appreciate some company rather than being alone. The overall experience did not evoke the wholesome feeling I had at Australia Zoo, where the animals seemed to lead content lives.

I also noticed that the presence of numerous screaming and running children may contribute to the stress of some animals. It would be helpful to have staff assisting and educating visitors, especially parents, on appropriate behavior around the exhibits. To be honest, the noisy and unruly behavior of many children was a big reason why I didn’t enjoy my visit. It was a bit bothersome, and some intervention to address the situation would have been helpful. It’s not just about our enjoyment; it’s also important for the animals to live in a peaceful environment.

While I felt the ticket price might be on the higher side, I understand that it contributes to the well-being of the animals, which ultimately makes me happy. In the end, my primary concern is for the happiness of everyone, particularly the animals, as I genuinely love them and hate to see them suffer in any way.

The Zoo Keepers really knew their charges. Both Owen and I were very impressed with the outlay of the facility being in the middle of a city the animals did not look cramped, unwell, harassed, and they looked very calm during our visit the staff was friendly informative. the facility was clean and the animals are actually out for display even though it was 45°C Today I would suggest this as a good place to visit. It doesn’t take long to go through and it’s easy to arrive there.

I love this place, they have so many cool animals, they have spiders, snakes, kangaroos, koalas, Tasmanian devils, wombats, crocodiles, cute mouses, the most dangerous bird in the world, lizards and many more. The venue is well maintained, you can book online so you don’t need to line up at the front. A general entry ticket cost A$48 but check for deals on their website. The venue has a café and you can pay for a photo with a koala. Suggestion: get more spiders and tarantulas.

Today I saw koalas and kangaroos for the first time in my life! I have been to many places outside of Sydney but have never been able to find kangaroos in the wild, but I am glad I was able to see them here at this zoo?

The koalas were sleeping and were so cute❤️. They were sleeping on a tree. It is fascinating that you can take pictures with koalas if you pay for it. The kangaroos weren’t very active either, but I was able to see them jumping around a bit. I think the other thing that impressed me was the crocodiles. The crocodiles are scary and the keeping staff seems to have a hard time. I would have liked to have seen a wallaby, but it was nice to see a hikidori as well.

The zoo was not that big, so I went around Wildlife more quickly than I expected. I probably saw everything in less than an hour. If you are not satisfied, I also recommend SEA LIFE next door!

I saw kangaroos and koalas, so I was very satisfied. Thanks a lot ✨

Great place to shop for souvenirs. Not for other things. Souvenirs here good price, value for money and wide range of varieties

The souvenirs section occupy about 80% of the market. Seafood section is very small 5%. Meat only 5%. Fruits and vege 10%.

Good place for tourists to buy Australia souvenirs at less price. You can pretty much find all the gift items you see in popular tourist spots like Sydney tower, zoo, etc. You can also find lots of stores to buy nice toys, puzzles and activities for kids for less price here. There are some electronics shops and clothes too but I felt they are not that many and that good.

This market is okay. You can purchase souvenirs, clothes and shoes. Most of the sellers are not friendly. There are tons of merchandise. They have electronics as well. You can also purchase produce. We purchased a pack of Keychains for only $5. They had cute I ❤️ Sydney t-shirts and purses. It is located at the Ground floor of Market City. I would go just for the experience. It is located in China town.

Great guys. Great Service. Highly recommended. I rented an e-bike for 4 weeks. Explored Sydney then rode the bike over 18 days to the Gold Coast. I loved the bike Really appreciated the folks at Sydney e-bike support.

The best place to rent an e-bike. They have different models according to your goals. Also the prices are really affordable if you are planning to rent it by week. And the have free maintenance and the staff is really great and help full. If you want to rent for delivery, they give you the rack, the delivery bag, helmet and phone holder.

Rented 2 bikes for the day and used the guided tour app with the Bluetooth helmets.

Staff were very helpful, bikes were great, the Bluetooth helmets which allowed the two of us to talk to each other from quite a distance were fantastic.

The route is easy to follow with lots of info points on the way. Had to cut it short unfortunately as we ran out of time, but still had a great experience.

They have all the prices. bike, chain and helmet, all included, also very friendly service, easy payment method and for Latin people, there are some friends of the site who speak Portuguese and understandable Spanish, so it is good for communication

Awesome place. If you love bodybuilding and working out in general, this is a must-go place. Very very well equipped with all sorts of hammer strength plate loaded machines for every body part, it’s a total haven. And the owner, Jeff, is a super chill awesome dude that’s friendly and welcoming. Had great conversations with him. He also makes a mean protein smoothie. You gotta try it! Best gym in Sydney.

Nice equipment, terrible staff!!! Have never felt so unwelcome at a gym before! Received a free invite/visit however charged $30 (cash only) for a day pass (once I told them I didn’t stay in North Sydney). Front desk staff did not even bother showing me around. Really disappointing experience and I would never come back again.

Lovely library, neat and well presented shelves, easy to look for books. Lots of space to sit, fantastic decorations, pretty chill to read and work. Lacking in English Classic books but I don’t really mind that. The children section bother me so much as they were packed and noisy, the parents did not even bother and I had to stood up and tell them to keep it down, not much help tho. Otherwise, the staff were extraordinary, attentive, professional and extremely helpful.

A stunning medium-sized library catering well to all audiences. There’s a cafe on ground level but the library itself is kind of underground – but still with plenty of natural light. A highlight is a suspended small aircraft. Couldn’t ask for a better place for a work or a study session!

Very nice modern library at a convenient location.

Its quiet and well equipped with power sockets that support usb c ports. Desks have height adjustable and chairs are comfortable for reading. Meetings rooms and computers are available.

Hope opening hours on weekends can stay to 6pm too, especially Saturday.

The library provides a nice and quiet study environment, but it is very busy throughout the year, except for the summer holidays. When I went, there was nearly no place for me to sit and get work done (had to sit on one of the sofas). Best to come in as early as possible, does get busy quickly.

It’s a huge shopping mall. You will definitely get lost here. But I love this place. As you get everything here. There are 2 food courts , one in the ground floor is kind of go to food and another one at 5th floor, that has got amazing view. I love to sit there and work. Mall has good wifi. They give you map for directions if you need.

Breathtaking view of the entire Sydney City ! As a tourist, this was the first time I was able to view an entire city from above and this experience was absolutely exhilarating! Was able to see The opera house as well as the harbour Bridge although there are many high rise buildings that side. Luckily I was able to see the city in day light as well as while the sun set and the night skyline looked even more beautiful! Has a snacks corner as well as a counter where they sell souvenir. Bought a beautiful Westfield Sydney Eye replica which sits on my souvenir shelf! Totally worth the money you spend here. Do not miss this experience!

Top Movie Theater in Sydney, Australia

A movie theater (American English), cinema (British English), or cinema hall (Indian English), also known as a movie house, picture house, picture theater or simply theater, is a business that contains auditoria for viewing films (also called movies) for public entertainment. Most are commercial operations catering to the general public, who attend by purchasing tickets.
The film is projected with a movie projector onto a large projection screen at the front of the auditorium while the dialogue, sounds and music are played through a number of wall-mounted speakers. Since the 1970s, subwoofers have been used for low-pitched sounds. Since the 2010s, the majority of movie theaters have been equipped for digital cinema projection, removing the need to create and transport a physical film print on a heavy reel.
A great variety of films are shown at cinemas, ranging from animated films to blockbusters to documentaries. The smallest movie theaters have a single viewing room with a single screen. In the 2010s, most movie theaters had multiple screens. The largest theater complexes, which are called multiplexes—a concept developed in Canada in the 1950s—have up to thirty screens. The audience members often sit on padded seats, which in most theaters are set on a sloped floor, with the highest part at the rear of the theater. Movie theaters often sell soft drinks, popcorn and candy, and some theaters sell hot fast food. In some jurisdictions, movie theaters can be licensed to sell alcoholic drinks.

I’ve never set foot in a better cinema anywhere. It has bars, comedy nights and live music as well as films. It’s also beautifully restored in an art Deco style. You can just go for a drink and sit on the balcony if you wish. Superlative and good value!

I’ve been trying to go the Ritz for since precovid times. Finally I went tonight to see Poor Things 35mm version. The popcorn was good, staff really friendlly, The building itself is a gem and loved the trendy decor. No one checks your ticket, so that makes things easier. BUT when the movie was close to the end the screen turned pitch black and for 5 minutes there was no movie, a guy behind me went to ask for help to put the movie back, which they did, someone did come to check on one from the aisles, when we left the cinema not even 1 employee said at least: “sorry”. I will come back to soon and hope to give a 5 star review.

First time at this venue to watch Oppenheimer. One of the few places in Sydney which still show film in 70mm. I really enjoyed the vibe of this place. Cinema 1 has two tiered seating, chairs don’t recline so not as comfortable.

Parking can be difficult but the Wilson’s does cheaper parking if seeing a film. Couple of restaurants in the area also do film ticket meal deals so look around.

As someone who missed the “golden age” of cinemas, the place is an absolute gem. I had the privilege of watching Midnight Cowboy here and the reel they played included old advertisements and even a section on the moon landing. It was an experience I never knew I needed. This place is timeless

One of the best and cheapest cinemas in Sydney. I saw so many movies here. With a 35mm and 70mm film projector is definitely worth to watch even an old movie, making the experience so much better. Lovely staff and the terrace bar is great too. Highly recommended.
