      This review is long overdue. Debbie in plumbing section is awesome! On several occasions now she’s helped me with various plumbing challenges (drains, hoses, toilet accessories, etc.).       The store has been around for a few years now. A large double storey branch with plenty of parking on the lower level. As customers we do need to understand that the Bunnings staff are at different experience levels, with some being able to assist at every level we require and others are on a training path and not yet knowing everything. I always cut the people some slack if they’re not able to render the type of service I expect.

He then pointed out one that was on sale, for a reasonable price. I now have the lawn mower, and the experience was very enjoyable. The staff were so helpful, and considerate.

      Callam gives me the best advice. He was putting the paint in the aisle. He left straight away to help me. We have a 1-minute quick chat about 20 different sealants for water use. He knew his stuff. He knows the other aisle. I grab ten/items in 3 minutes from 22 to 52 to 40. This guy is a computer. Highly raccomand. Young! Smart!

      I love shopping at this Bunnings. It is easy to get in and to get out. Ample parking and the store itself is quite big, and I can get what I need. I usually look on the website first to see where the items I need are located, that saves me time and I don’t have to search.

      Has things needed. Getting help in the paint department is near impossible. We’ve had 4 goes at it and failed to be served, plus they didn’t know the answers to our questions. One of the younger staff members told me you can only get Chalkboard paint in black whilst we were standing in front of a sample of an Aqua Blue chalkboard. Front of house staff are lovely and a male staff member helped us in flooring even though it wasn’t his area. The flooring person also helped. They were both great.

      This would be the worst customer service i have ever received, actually there was no service. Went to buy a BBQ no one could help. Finally found someone and automatically no we dont have that, they did. Found it but no help you pick it up yourself. I said is this easy to assemble, got a shrug and a mumble and walked away.Asked about the stand, umm yeah its around the corner. Went up to checkout out and asked about swap and go, no idea then she put the wrong code in and locked the POS and looked at me as if i new how to fix it. Each person i encounted couldnt give a dam they are literally there for a paycheck. They need to practice what they preach on their TV ads.

      Bunnings is Bunnings-a place you go to buy stuff you need if you can find it. And when you do finally find it, it’s in a pack of 6 or more or a multi size pack that you have yo buy 4 of to get the 4 of one size you need. But they are mostly convenient to get to with plenty of parking. Staff are generally friendly and as helpful as they can be (experience isn’t good with some of the younger ones). For the items I generally buy, it’s a one-stop shop.

      I visited this store last weekend. What amazing staff. Thank you to Jay and Evie in the paint department. Such a demanding job, but they still went over and beyond matching paint to touch up a new product I sell in my small business. They really showed interest in supporting and resolving my dilemma. You rarely find this in customer service. While doing this, they still ensured to serve all other customers!!!! well done guys and thankyou.

      I visited the Woodville store ,what lovely staff.I needed help in buying a lawn mower ,my 1st ,im 72 so i needed a easy one to use. Harrison helped me above and beyond expectations.He was full of knowledge and took the time to explain features and benefits.He is a credit to the company and his parents would be so proud.Well done Harrison.

      I do love Bunnings. This is a big store. The staff are always super friendly and very knowledgeable about the products and location of items. My only issue is that lately their garden power tool selection seems to have gone drastically downhill. Seems the entire section is now mostly ryobi, some ozito, a few makita and then a couple of other “token” ones. I can only assume they are trying to handball people off to another of the Wesfarmers owned companies like “tool kit depo”. Pretty annoying as Bunnings used to be the one stop shop for everything. Apart from the garden tool section, the rest of the store has a variety of products

      Huge store, friendly service, great staff knowledge, pretty much everything in stock. Plants were mostly in goid condition but could use a little more tlc in this warmer weather. Trade part though is a bit average, didn’t have a trained cutter available when needed. Service attendant at that counter was not helpful at all.

      Huge thank you to staff member Julian who helped me load 3 chairs into my car – so excited to find what I had been looking for. Ran back into the store to purchase the fourth chair only to find I couldn’t manage to get it to fit into my car – I tried every which way and finally had to go back into the store and ask if Julian was able to come and help, again. One of the kindest, caring & thoughtful Bunnings employee I’ve had the pleasure to deal with . Love my new chairs & will always remember the kindness that was showered on them with Julian’s help.

      Everything in bunnings has become overpriced and overhyped lately imo.

      Its made worse by some staff who supposedly know everything but don’t. And dont bother helping you.

      Then you find some staff who are amazing and actually want to help you and know their stuff.

      Super helpful and plentiful staff, a sensible layout, and loads of parking make this an awesome Bunnings.

      Come for whatever – stay for the sausage sizzle. I’ve never seen parking full even at peak times, and browsing or click and collect work great. Included videos to show the condition of the store, which was good in my view.

      The service from Nish is exemplary great, i dont know what kind of drill i need to buy so i just ask the assistant from the other staff, and follow his recommendation but when i about to leave the counter Nish ask why I didn’t get the other brand instead, that is user friendly, with the whole set of bits and reachable.       Excellent customer service. The returns process was really simple – I had bought an item that it turns out didn’t fit (I should have measured beforehand), and was able to return it easily with no fuss. They have a wide range of products and even had a particularly niche item I needed. Great range of tools for any job you might need. The prices are unbeatable. They also do key cutting at a much more reasonable price than other dedicated stores. And you can recycle old batteries here for free.

      I take my hat off to all the Bunnings staff. During busy periods, they handle multiple customer inquires on the floor. Must be very tiring, yet they manage to keep a cool head. I am not normally one to endorse a company that cleans out the competition and dictates prices, however, they are successful on many levels based on their company structure. At least they are not an overseas conglomerate, so hopefully the money is staying in the Aussie economy. I would need to look into that.. anyway, hooray to customer training and ground level service!

      Quick Stop at Bunnings Balcatta

      During a recent trip to WA, I made a quick visit to Bunnings Balcatta. I was there just once and purchased some fire starters. It was a straightforward and efficient experience. Always plenty of parking. Conveniently they have bathrooms too.

      I absolutely love bunnings and always look forward to checking out what they have , but my last visit the checkout person made me go all the way to the back of the store to take a photo of the special tag to prove it was on special. That to me was a ridiculous request when it seems someone either forgot to remove it or they didn’t change it on their system. Very convenient to make a person with a artificial knee walk all that way and back, when a staff member should have done that as part of the service, especially when it was their special not mine?

      I visited the Bunnings store in Balcatta on August 5th, 2023, to buy some gardening tools and supplies. I had a pleasant shopping experience until I reached the checkout desk. There, I encountered the worst customer service I have ever seen. The cashier Milli was rude, impatient, and incompetent. She ignored me when I greeted her, and she did not scan my items properly. She did not want to scan my flybys, and started making different noises. I was shocked and appalled by this cashier’s behavior. She treated me with disrespect and contempt, and she made me feel unwelcome. She showed no regard for her customers or her employer. She ruined my shopping experience and wasted my time and money. I would not recommend this store to anyone who values good customer service. This store needs to train its staff better and monitor their performance more closely.

      I went today to buy an egg chair, as Bunnings Armadale seems the only store with the available stock. At the store I noticed the item box has a scribbled note “one missing bolt”. Friendly staff offered to take off $50 from the total price and took a set of bolts from their shelf for free! Furthermore their friendly and helpful staff Carla and Fin helped in taking apart the item from the box and helped me make them fit in my corolla hatchback. Yay! I don’t have to pay the delivery. I’m so happy, these ladies are topnotch in customer service. I love Bunnings! They’re the best .

      This has happened twice in the last year that I asked for assistance at the entrance for bulbs (light) and no-one came at all. The first time I waited a very long time and asked someone to send someone again. This time I could not wait any longer (15mins). Also the staff at the self serve was not professional : talked to another staff at another counter (from that distance) of how the other one’s day was “shit”. Not professional at all.

      Came in the other day into the store the other day and needed some assistance with a few things and thank God, Daniel who I believe is one of the tools expert, was able to help me. Not the first time I’ve come into the store needing help and I just so happen to bump into this legend again. This man has a wide breadth of knowledge and has always been able to point me in the right direction. He has consistantly directed me in the right steps with required tools, timber and more, and none have failed to satisfy my needs. Always look forward to coming into the store! Man always has a smile on his face and positive can-do attitude. Highly recommend if you bump into him and have any questions, especially about tools, he’s the man.       Overwhelming and convoluted:

      I’m building a spice rack and know very little about making things. I went to bunnings for ideas/inspiration and the necessary items to construct my project.

      I spoke with 9 different people – Claire and Kim upstairs were the best. They were excited to help me, wanted to understand my project and give tailored advice. They directed me downstairs to the right aisles. – I spoke with 5 people in aisles 4 and 5 who could not answer questions about the products in front of them. While I appreciate they didn’t guess the answers I would have liked assistance.

      It was very frustrating explaining myself over and over. I also decided to purchase more stuff than I needed because I didn’t know what I needed exactly, and I will have to return items which is annoying. I also resorted to googling info in store because I couldn’t get the answers to my questions

      Not a massive range. But can have some great clearance specials. Parking here is great. It’s easy and convenient.. which says a lot.. it’s hard to park anywhere around this area. But at least that isn’t a problem here. So kudos for that

      Update… second last time I visited here staff approached my dad and said come on Greg you know your not allowed to be here. He isn’t Greg and it’s the second time we have been here…. Surely the guy can’t look exactly the same. Especially wearing our businesses work gear. His name is on his tshirt!!! You embarrassed the f out of him!

      Thought it was isolated… I must look a bit dodgy… last visit I had two undercover / loss prevention following me and a staff member. It was quite off putting. I understand you have A job to do. Even if I do fit a profile, BE DISCREET about it. You guys made me want to steal to prove a point! Instead I left feeling violated and spent my money at Taits timber. $800 purchase. Good job guys ?

      TRADIES: DO NOT GO HERE WITH A VAN. The sign as you come down the ramp says 2.2m. Then you turn into the carpark and (after the boom opens – and a car is honking from behind) you are stuck! It drops to 1.8M! You cannot exit, as they have a barricade across the exit ramp. You have to navigate all the way round the carpark! Very poor signage. Crowded and tight store. 2 floors. Got everything. Very handy for inner city. But if you want to breathe, go to Port Melbourne instead.

      it’s good when it’s open, the main entrance is a bit of a greenhouse when it’s too hot. There is a good selection of fresh items and it’s located in a very convenient place near Glenelg beach, however I was very disappointed when i needed to buy something and they had already closed for the day. on Saturday and Sunday they close at 5pm which is probably okay during winter but during summer it’s too early.

Cash/card & card only terminals are in abundance. If you make an error in purchase. Don’t worry there are helpful staff at the ready to smooth out any mistakes. It’s easy. Just scan_ place your groceries in the bagging area _then complete your transaction by choosing a method of payment. It’s all touch screen _ and it’s easy. Prepaid vouchers for mobile phone can be purchased at self service terminals _ veggies & fruit are easily weighted & identification of your produce is simple.       I’ve been here many times in the morning. Most days after I drop off my child to school. However I did some shopping at self service one day. Then proceeded to wait at the getting smokes and information part of front desk area. Where I believe a female employee was just talking with another customer. Yes nothing wrong with that. But I’m sure she had finish with her purchasing and they continued to talk or gossip. Now that’s the problem right there!!! ? My point is, this Coles employee didn’t even have the decency to ask if I needed help. I’m standing there and she clearly sees me and as I walk off angrily. They decide to end there gossip session. Never coming here again!!!

      I did my grocery shopping at this store last night. I went to the service desk to be served by a guy who was speaking to another customer the whole time he was serving me.
      When I got home I noticed one of my products was missing. I called the store immediately and I mentioned this and they knew exactly what happened and told me to come into the store with my receipt.
      Upon further inspection of my receipt after the call, I noticed that I was also double charged for another product.
      The man who served me was distracted by his conversation with the customer and made two mistakes with my shopping and he had no greeting nor asked how I’d like to pay or anything which is unacceptable and is how mistakes happen.
      I came back the next day and explained what happened to the nice lady at the service desk and got my missing product & a refund for the double charge.
      Be wary and double-check that your items are all bagged & your receipt before heading home if you go to an assisted checkout. I wasted petrol and time coming back to have the issue fixed.
      I’ll probably use self service next time; I usually choose to be served whenever I do a larger shop, but I think I’ve just lost trust.

      I have complained in the past this is my 3 rd attempt to try and get Wolworths to take some sort of action in cleaning up the carpark of rubbish, looks like a s**t hole, plastics and detritus everywhere come on Woolworths lift your game we all have a duty of care for the enviroment.

      Update, May 2023, Still looks like a tip, Woolworths just a huge corporate non caring about there stores, carpark and environment they have lost there way.

      One star for the dirty presentation of the Woolworths precinct at Sandy Bay. Shopping there is pretty depressing because of the rubbish and leaves that are left for days to blow up into corners and accumulate around the place. It is surprising that Woolworths Management have no pride, nor consideration for its customers.
      Even if the whole precinct is not the responsibility of Woolworths, you’d think that they would keep their immediate surrounds clean. (I have noticed this for a few years now, and finally getting around to posting something).

      Sadly not a great experience at our last visit. We received a call to say our pre-ordered meat dept item was ready for pickup. Arrived within 15 mins of initial call and had to work through 4 levels of staff and all the bluster that entails to pick up a simple meat product. Lack of product knowledge was to blame, which means a lack of training.

      I had a great (not) start to my shopping experience today, other than cutting open my finger whilst attempting to extricate some of the veggie bags. I had to ask for bandaids. Then I couldn’t find a product that was supposed to be in stock. 2 lovely employee ladies helped me with that. The final crowning jewel of the experience came at the non-self service check out. I was asked for bags and when I gave them to the employee she wouldn’t touch them. Why? They were not dirty. So I packed the bags myself while feeling very embarrassed and humiliated. Not a nice experience!

      That was 6 days ago.

      Today, the same thing happened with the same check-out Woolies employee! What is going on? ?

      That is so wrong and I spoke with manager about it and only got hollow empathy and patronising insults. Was also referred to by a worker as dearie multiple times after I asked her not too. A worker half my age. Seriously insulting but not half as bad as the chicken prices.
      Worst is no one seems to care that this is wrong.

      A surprisingly well stocked supermarket. A good range of deli items and fresh meat although fruit and veg and bread range limited.
      Helpful staff, easy parking. A great stop on the way home to pick up things for dinner.

      Very conveinant location polite freindly staff easy parking directly at the front of store always a spare spot to park overall happy to shop there being a smaller store then others the product range is still very good

      Woolworths Campbell St has great customer service and very friendly staff, who helped with my queries about a certain product and where I could find it in the store. Great stock levels and had all the items I wanted in store ?.
